1 Chronicles 4
1 The sons of Juda: Phares, Hesron, and Charmi, and Hur, and Sobal.
യെഹൂദയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: പേരെസ്, ഹെസ്രോൻ, കൎമ്മി, ഹൂർ, ശോബൽ.
2 And Raia the son of Sobal beget Jahath, of whom were born Ahumai, and Laad. These are the families of Sarathi.
ശോബലിന്റെ മകനായ രെയായാവു യഹത്തിനെ ജനപ്പിച്ചു; യഹത്ത് അഹൂമായിയെയും ലാഹദിനെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു. ഇവർ സോരത്യരുടെ കുലങ്ങൾ.
3 And this is the posterity of Etam: Jezrahel, and Jesema, and Jedebos: and the name of their sister was Asalelphuni.
ഏതാമിന്റെ അപ്പനിൽനിന്നുത്ഭവിച്ചവർ ഇവർ: യിസ്രെയേൽ, യിശ്മാ, യിദ്ബാശ്; അവരുടെ സഹോദരിക്കു ഹസ്സെലൊല്പോനി എന്നു പേർ.
4 And Phanuel the father of Gedor, and Ezar the father of Hosa, these are the sons of Hur the firstborn of Ephratha the father of Bethlehem.
പെനൂവേൽ ഗെദോരിന്റെ അപ്പനും, ഏസെർ ഹൂശയുടെ അപ്പനും ആയിരുന്നു. ഇവർ ബേത്ത്ലേഹെമിന്റെ അപ്പനായ എഫ്രാത്തയുടെ ആദ്യജാതനായ ഹൂരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ.
5 And Assur the father of Thecua had two wives, Halaa and Naara:
തെക്കോവയുടെ അപ്പനായ അശ്ഹൂരിന്നു ഹേലാ, നയരാ എന്ന രണ്ടു ഭാൎയ്യമാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
6 And Naara bore him Ozam, and Hepher, and Themani, and Ahasthari: these are the sons of Naara.
നയരാ അവന്നു അഹുസ്സാം, ഹേഫെർ, തേമനി, ഹായഹസ്താരി എന്നിവരെ പ്രസവിച്ചു. ഇവർ നയരയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ.
7 And the sons of Halaa, Sereth, Isaar, and Ethnan.
ഹേലയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: സേരെത്ത്, യെസോഹർ, എത്നാൻ.
8 And Cos begot Anob, and Soboba, the kindred of Aharehel the son of Arum.
കോസ് ആനൂബിനെയും സോബേബയെയും ഹാരൂമിന്റെ മകനായ അഹർഹേലിന്റെ കുലങ്ങളെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.
9 And Jabes was more honourable than any of his brethren, and his mother called his name Jabes, saying: Because I bore him with sorrow.
യബ്ബേസ് തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരെക്കാൾ ഏറ്റവും മാന്യൻ ആയിരുന്നു; അവന്റെ അമ്മ: ഞാൻ അവനെ വ്യസനത്തോടെ പ്രസവിച്ചു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവന്നു യബ്ബേസ് എന്നു പേരിട്ടു.
10 And Jabes called upon the God of Israel, saying: If blessing thou wilt bless me, and wilt enlarge my borders, and thy hand be with me, and thou save me from being oppressed by evil. And God granted him the things he prayed for.
യബ്ബേസ് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവത്തോടു: നീ എന്നെ നിശ്ചയമായി അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു എന്റെ അതിർ വിസ്താരമാക്കുകയും നിന്റെ കൈ എന്നോടുകൂടെ ഇരുന്നു അനൎത്ഥം എനിക്കു വ്യസനകാരണമായി തീരാതവണ്ണം എന്നെ കാക്കുകയും ചെയ്താൽ കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു എന്നു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു. അവൻ അപേക്ഷിച്ചതിനെ ദൈവം അവന്നു നല്കി.
11 And Caleb the brother of Sua beget Mahir, who was the father of Esthon.
ശൂഹയുടെ സഹോദരനായ കെലൂബ് മെഹീരിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; ഇവൻ എസ്തോന്റെ അപ്പൻ.
12 And Esthon beget Bethrapha, and Phesse, and Tehinna father of the city of Naas: these are the men of Recha.
എസ്തോൻ ബേത്ത്-രാഫയെയും പാസേഹയെയും ഈർനാഹാസിന്റെ അപ്പനായ തെഹിന്നയെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു. ഇവർ രേഖാനിവാസികൾ ആകുന്നു.
13 And the sons of Cenez were Othoniel, and Saraia. And the sons of Othoniel, Hathath, and Maonathi.
കെനസ്സിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഒത്നീയേൽ, സെരായാവു; ഒത്നീയേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഹഥത്ത്.
14 Maonathi beget Ophra, and Saraia begot Joab the father of the Valley of artificers: for artificers were there.
മെയോനോഥയി ഒഫ്രയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; സെരായാവു ഗേ-ഹരാശീമിന്റെ അപ്പനായ യോവാബിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; അവർ കൌശലപ്പണിക്കാർ ആയിരുന്നുവല്ലോ.
15 And the sons of Caleb the son of Jephone, were Hir, and Ela, and Naham. And the sons of Ela: Cenez.
യെഫുന്നെയുടെ മകനായ കാലേബിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഈരൂ, ഏലാ, നായം; ഏലയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: കെനസ്.
16 The sons also of Jaleleel: Ziph, and Zipha, Thiria, and Asrael.
യെഹലലേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: സീഫ്, സീഫാ, തീൎയ്യാ, അസരെയേൽ.
17 And the sons of Esra, Jether, and Mered, and Epher, and Jalon, and he beget Mariam, and Sammai, and Jesba the father of Esthamo.
എസ്രയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: യേഥെർ, മേരെദ്, ഏഫെർ, യാലോൻ എന്നിവരായിരുന്നു. അവൾ മിൎയ്യാമിനെയും ശമ്മയെയും എസ്തെമോവയുടെ അപ്പനായ യിശ്ബഹിനെയും പ്രസവിച്ചു.
18 And his wife Judaia, bore Jared the father of Gedor, and Heber the father of Socho, and Icuthiel the father of Zanoe. And these are the sons of Bethia the daughter of Pharao, whom Mered took to wife.
അവന്റെ ഭാൎയ്യയായ യെഹൂദീയ ഗെദോരിന്റെ അപ്പനായ യേരെദിനെയും സോഖോവിന്റെ അപ്പനായ ഹേബെരിനെയും സാനോഹയുടെ അപ്പനായ യെക്കൂഥീയേലിനെയും പ്രസവിച്ചു. ഇവരാകുന്നു മേരെദ് പരിഗ്രഹിച്ച ഫറവോന്റെ മകളായ ബിഥ്യയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ.
19 And the sons of his wife Odaia the sister of Naham the father of Celia, Garmi, and Esthamo, who was of Machathi.
നഹമിന്റെ സഹോദരിയും ഹോദീയാവിന്റെ ഭാൎയ്യയുമായവളുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഗൎമ്മ്യനായ കെയീലയുടെ അപ്പനും മയഖാത്യനായ എസ്തെമോവയും തന്നേ.
20 The sons also of Simon, Amnon, and Rinna the son of Hanan, and Thilon. And the sons of Jesi Zoheth, and Benzoheth.
ശീമോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അമ്നോൻ, രിന്നാ, ബെൻ-ഹാനാൻ, തീലോൻ. യിശിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: സോഹേത്ത്, ബെൻ-സോഹേത്ത്.
21 The sons of Sela the son of Juda: Her the father of Lecha, and Laada the father of Maresa, and the families of the house of them that wrought fine linen in the House of oath.
യെഹൂദയുടെ മകനായ ശേലയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ലേഖയുടെ അപ്പനായ ഏരും മാരേശയുടെ അപ്പനായ ലദയും ബേത്ത്-അശ്ബെയയിൽ ശണപടം നെയ്യുന്ന കൈത്തൊഴില്ക്കാരുടെ കുലങ്ങളും;
22 And he that made the sun to stand, and the men of Lying, and Secure, and Burning, who were princes in Moab, and who returned into Lahem. Now these are things of old.
യോക്കീമും കോസേബാനിവാസികളും മോവാബിൽ അധികാരം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന യോവാശ്, സാരാഫ് എന്നിവരും യാശുബീ-ലേഹെമും തന്നേ. ഇവ പുരാണവൃത്താന്തങ്ങൾ അല്ലോ.
23 These are the potters, and they dwelt in Plantations, and Hedges, with the king for his works, and they abode there.
ഇവർ നെതായീമിലും ഗെദേരയിലും പാൎത്ത കുശവന്മാർ ആയിരുന്നു; അവർ രാജാവിനോടുകൂടെ അവന്റെ വേല ചെയ്‌വാൻ അവിടെ പാൎത്തു.
24 The sons of Simeon: Namuel, and Jamin, Jarib, Zara, Saul:
ശിമെയോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: നെമൂവേൽ, യാമീൻ, യാരീബ്, സേരഹ്, ശൌൽ;
25 Sellum his son, Mapsam his son, Masma his son.
അവന്റെ മകൻ ശല്ലൂം; അവന്റെ മകൻ മിബ്ശാം; അവന്റെ മകൻ മിശ്മാ.
26 The sons of Masma: Hamuel his son, Zachur his son, Semei his son.
മിശ്മയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അവന്റെ മകൻ ഹമ്മൂവേൽ; അവന്റെ മകൻ സക്കൂർ; അവന്റെ മകൻ ശിമെയി;
27 The sons of Semei were sixteen, and six daughters: but his brethren had not many sons, and the whole kindred could not reach to the sum of the children of Juda.
ശിമെയിക്കു പതിനാറു പുത്രന്മാരും ആറു പുത്രിമാരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; എങ്കിലും അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാൎക്കു അധികം മക്കളില്ലായ്കയാൽ അവരുടെ കുലമെല്ലാം യെഹൂദാമക്കളോളം വൎദ്ധിച്ചില്ല.
28 And they dwelt in Bersabee, and Molada, and Hasarsuhal,
അവർ ബേർ-ശേബയിലും
29 And in Bala, and in Asom, and in Tholad,
മോലാദയിലും ഹസർ-ശൂവാലിലും ബിൽഹയിലും
30 And in Bathuel, and in Horma, and in Siceleg,
ഏസെമിലും തോലാദിലും ബെഥൂവേലിലും
31 And in Bethmarchaboth, and in Hasarsusim, and in Bethberai, and in Saarim. These were their cities unto the reign of David.
ഹൊൎമ്മയിലും സിക്ലാഗിലും ബേത്ത്-മർക്കാബോത്തിലും ഹസർ-സൂസീമിലും ബേത്ത്-ബിരിയിലും ശയരയീമിലും പാൎത്തു. ഇവ ദാവീദിന്റെ വാഴ്ചവരെ അവരുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങൾ ആയിരുന്നു.
32 Their towns also were Etam, and Aen, Remmon, and Thochen, and Asan, five cities.
അവരുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങൾ: ഏതാം, അയീൻ, രിമ്മോൻ, തോഖെൻ, ആശാൻ ഇങ്ങനെ അഞ്ചു പട്ടണവും
33 And all their villages round about these cities as far as Baal. This was their habitation, and the distribution of their dwellings.
ഈ പട്ടണങ്ങളുടെ ചുറ്റും ബാൽവരെ അവെക്കുള്ള സകലഗ്രാമങ്ങളും തന്നേ. ഇവ അവരുടെ വാസസ്ഥലങ്ങൾ. അവൎക്കു സ്വന്തവംശാവലിയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
34 And Mosabab and Jemlech, and Josa, the son of Amasias,
മെശോബാബ്, യമ്ലേക്, അമസ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ യോശാ, യോവേൽ,
35 And Joel, and Jehu the son of Josabia the son of Saraia, the son of Asiel,
അസീയേലിന്റെ മകനായ സെരായാവിന്റെ മകനായ യോശിബ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ യേഹൂ, എല്യോവേനായി,
36 And Elioenai, and Jacoba, and Isuhaia, and Asaia, and Adiel, and Ismiel, and Banaia,
യയക്കോബാ, യെശോഹായാവു, അസായാവു, അദീയേൽ, യസീമീയേൽ,
37 Ziza also the son of Sephei the son of Allon the son of Idaia the son of Semri the son of Samaia.
ബെനായാവു, ശെമെയാവിന്റെ മകനായ ശിമ്രിയുടെ മകനായ യെദായാവിന്റെ മകനായ അല്ലോന്റെ മകനായ ശിഫിയുടെ മകനായ സീസാ;
38 These were named princes in their kindreds, and in the houses of their families were multiplied exceedingly.
പേർ വിവരം പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന ഇവർ തങ്ങളുടെ കുലങ്ങളിൽ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരായിരുന്നു; അവരുടെ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങൾ ഏറ്റവും വൎദ്ധിച്ചിരുന്നു.
39 And they went forth to enter into Gador as far as to the east side of the valley, to seek pastures for their flocks.
അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടങ്ങൾക്കു മേച്ചൽ തിരയേണ്ടതിന്നു ഗെദോൎപ്രവേശനത്തോളം താഴ്വരയുടെ കിഴക്കുവശംവരെ യാത്രചെയ്തു.
40 And they found fat pastures, and very good, and a country spacious, and quiet, and fruitful, in which some of the race of Cham had dwelt before.
അവർ പുഷ്ടിയുള്ളതും നല്ലതുമായ മേച്ചൽ കണ്ടെത്തി; ദേശം വിസ്താരവും സ്വസ്ഥതയും സമാധാനവും ഉള്ളതായിരുന്നു; അവിടത്തെ പൂൎവ്വനിവാസികൾ ഹാംവംശക്കാരായിരുന്നു.
41 And these whose names are written above, came in the days of Ezechias king of Juda: and they beat down their tents, and slew the inhabitants that were found there, and utterly destroyed them unto this day: and they dwelt in their place, because they found there fat pastures.
പേർവിവരം എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്ന ഇവർ യെഹൂദ്യരാജാവായ യഹിസ്കീയാവിന്റെ കാലത്തു അവിടെ ചെന്നു അവരുടെ കൂടാരങ്ങളെയും അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന മെയൂന്യരെയും ആക്രമിച്ചു, ഇന്നുവരെ അവൎക്കു നിൎമ്മൂലനാശം വരുത്തുകയും അവിടെ തങ്ങളുടെ ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടങ്ങൾക്കു മേച്ചൽ ഉള്ളതുകൊണ്ടു അവൎക്കു പകരം പാൎക്കയും ചെയ്തു.
42 Some also of the children of Simeon, five hundred men, went into mount Seir, having for their captains Phaltias and Naaria and Raphaia and Oziel the sons of Jesi:
ശിമെയോന്യരായ ഇവരിൽ അഞ്ഞൂറുപേർ, യിശിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാരായ, പെലത്യാവു, നെയൎയ്യാവു, രെഫായാവു, ഉസ്സീയേൽ എന്നീ തലവന്മാരോടുകൂടെ സേയീർപൎവ്വതത്തിലേക്കു യാത്രചെയ്തു.
43 And they slew the remnant of the Amalecites, who had been able to escape, and they dwelt there in their stead unto this day.
അവർ അമാലേക്യരിൽ ചാടിപ്പോയിരുന്ന ശിഷ്ടജനത്തെ വെട്ടിക്കൊന്നു ഇന്നുവരെ അവിടെ പാൎക്കുന്നു.
