1 Chronicles 3
1 Now these were the sons of David that were born to him in Hebron: the firstborn Amnon of Achinoam the Jezrahelitess, the second Daniel of Abigail the Carmelitess.
Hier volgen de zonen van David1, die hem in Hebron geboren werden. De eerstgeborene was Amnon, de zoon van Achinóam uit Jizreël;
2 The third Absalom the son of Maacha the daughter of Tolmai king of Gessur, the fourth Adonias the son of Aggith,
de tweede was Daniël, de zoon van Abigáil uit Karmel; de derde Absalom, de zoon van Maäka, de dochter van Talmai, den koning van Gesjoer; de vierde Adoni-ja, de zoon van Chaggit;
3 The fifth Saphatias of Abital, the sixth Jethrahem of Egla, his wife.
de vijfde Sjefatja, de zoon van Abital; de zesde Jitream, de zoon van zijn vrouw Egla.
4 So six sons were born to him in Hebron, where he reigned seven years and six months. And in Jerusalem he reigned three and thirty years.
Zes zonen kreeg hij te Hebron, waar hij zeven jaar en zes maanden regeerde. In Jerusalem regeerde hij drie en dertig jaar.
5 And these sons were born to him in Jerusalem: Simmaa, and Sobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, four of Bethsabee the daughter of Ammiel.
Daar kreeg hij Sjima, Sjobab, Natan en Salomon: alle vier van Bat-Sjóea. de dochter van Ammiël.
6 Jebaar also and Elisama,
Verder nog deze negen zonen: Jibchar, Elisjama, Elifélet,
7 And Eliphaleeh, and Noge, and Nepheg, and Japhia,
Nóga, Néfeg, Jafia,
8 And Elisama, and Eliada, and Elipheleth, nine:
Elisjama, Eljada en Elifélet.
9 All these the sons of David, beside the sons of the concubines: and they had a sister Thamar.
Dit waren al de zonen van David, afgezien van die der bijvrouwen. Ze hadden een zuster, die Tamar heette.
10 And Solomon’s son was Roboam: whose son Abia beget Asa. And his son was Josaphat,
De zoon van Salomon was Roboam; die van Roboam was Abias; die van Abias was Asa; die van Asa was Josafat;
11 The father of Joram: and Joram begot Ochozias, of whom was born Joas:
die van Josafat was Joram; die van Joram was Achazjáhoe; die van Achazjáhoe was Joasj;
12 And his son Amasias begot Azarias. And Joathan the son of Azarias
die van Joasj was Amas-jáhoe; die van Amasjáhoe was Azarja; die van Azarja was Jotam;
13 Beget Achaz, the father of Ezechias, of whom was born Manasses.

14 And Manasses beget Amen the father of Josias.
die van Manasses was Amon; die van Amon was Josias.
15 And the sons of Josias were, the firstborn Johanan, the second Joakim, the third Sedecias, the fourth Sellum.
De oudste zoon van Josias was Jochanan, de tweede was Jojakim, de derde Sidki-jáhoe, de vierde Sjalloem.
16 Of Joakim was born Jechonias, and Sedecias.
De zoon van Jojakim was Jekonias, die van Jekonias was Sidki-ja.
17 The sons of Jechonias were Asir, Salathiel,
De zonen van den gevangen Jekonias waren Sjealtiël,
18 Melchiram, Phadaia, Senneser and Jecemia, Sama, and Nadabia.
Malkiram, Pedaja, Sjenassar, Jekamja, Hosjama en Nedabja.
19 Of Phadaia were born Zorobabel and Semei. Zorobabel beget Mosollam, Hananias, and Salomith their sister:
De zonen van Pedaja waren Zorobabel en Sjimi. De zonen van Zorobabel waren Mesjoellam en Chananja; ze hadden een zuster, die Sjelomit heette.
20 Hasaba also, and Ohol, and Barachias, and Hasadias, Josabhesed, five.
Verder nog vijf anderen: Chasjoeba, Ohel, Berekja, Chasadja en Joesjab-Chésed.
21 And the son of Hananias was Phaltias the father of Jeseias, whose son was Raphaia. And his son was Arnan, of whom was born Obdia, whose son was Sechenias.
De zonen van Chananja waren Pelatja en Jesjaja. De zoon van Pelatja was Refaja, die van Refaja was Arnon, die van Arnon was Obadja, die van Obadja was Sjekanja.
22 The son of Sechenias, was Semeia, whose sons were Hattus, and Jegaal, and Baria, and Naaria, and Saphat, six in number.
De zonen van Sjekanja waren: Sjemaja, Chattoesj, Jigal, Bariach, Nearja en Sjafat, in het geheel zes.
23 The sons of Naaria, Elioenai, and Ezechias, and Ezricam, three.
De zonen van Nearja waren: Eljoënai, Chizki-ja en Azrikam, in het geheel drie.
24 The sons of Elioenai, Oduia, and Eliasub, and Pheleia, and Accub, and Johanan, and Dalaia, and Anani, seven.
De zonen van Eljoënai waren: Hodawjáhoe, Eljasjib, Pelaja, Akkoeb, Jochanan, Delaja en Anani, in het geheel zeven.
