1 Chronicles 24
1 Now these were the divisions of the sons of Aaron: The sons of Aaron: Nadab, and Abiu, and Eleazar, and Ithamar.
Și acestea sunt cetele fiilor lui Aaron. Fiii lui Aaron: Nadab și Abihu, Eleazar și Itamar.
2 But Nadab and Abiu died before their father, and had no children: so Eleazar, and Ithamar did the office of the priesthood.
Dar Nadab și Abihu au murit înaintea tatălui lor și nu au avut copii, de aceea Eleazar și Itamar au făcut serviciul de preot.
3 And David distributed them, that is, Sadoc of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their courses and ministry.
Și David i-a împărțit, pe Țadoc, dintre fiii lui Eleazar; și Ahimelec, dintre fiii lui Itamar, conform rânduielii lor, în serviciul lor.
4 And there were found many more of the sons of Eleazar among the principal men, than of the sons of Ithamar. And he divided them so, that there were of the sons of Eleazar, sixteen chief men by their families: and of the sons of Ithamar eight by their families and houses.
Și s-au găsit mai mulți bărbați de seamă dintre fiii lui Eleazar apoi dintre fiii lui Itamar; și astfel au fost ei împărțiți. Printre fiii lui Eleazar erau șaisprezece bărbați de seamă din casa părinților lor și opt dintre fiii lui Itamar, conform casei părinților lor.
5 And he divided both the families one with the other by lot: for there were princes of the sanctuary, and princes of God, both of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.
Astfel au fost ei împărțiți prin sorț, unul cu altul; fiindcă guvernatorii sanctuarului și guvernatorii casei lui Dumnezeu, erau dintre fiii lui Eleazar și dintre fiii lui Itamar.
6 And Semeias the son of Nathanael the scribe a Levite, wrote them down before the king and the princes, and Sadoc the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and the princes also of the priestly and Levitical families: one house, which was over the rest, of Eleazar: and another house, which had the rest under it, of Ithamar.
Și Șemaia, fiul lui Netaneel, scribul, unul dintre leviți, le-a scris înaintea împăratului și a prinților, a preotului Țadoc și a lui Ahimelec, fiul lui Abiatar, și înaintea mai marelui părinților preoților și leviților; o casă părintească fiind luată pentru Eleazar și una luată pentru Itamar.
7 Now the first lot came forth to Joiarib, the second to Jedei,
Și primul sorț i-a ieșit lui Iehoiarib, al doilea lui Iedaia,
8 The third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,
Al treilea lui Harim, al patrulea lui Seorim,
9 The fifth to Melchia, the sixth to Maiman,
Al cincilea lui Malchia, al șaselea lui Miiamin,
10 The seventh to Accos, the eighth to Abia,
Al șaptelea lui Hacoț, al optulea lui Abiia,
11 The ninth to Jesua, the tenth to Sechenia,
Al nouălea lui Ieșua, al zecelea lui Șecania,
12 The eleventh to Eliasib, the twelfth to Jacim,
Al unsprezecelea lui Eliașib, al doisprezecelea lui Iachim,
13 The thirteenth to Hoppha, the fourteenth to Isbaab,
Al treisprezecelea lui Hupa, al paisprezecelea lui Ieșebeab,
14 The fifteenth to Belga, the sixteenth to Emmer,
Al cincisprezecelea lui Bilga, al șaisprezecelea lui Imer,
15 The seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Aphses,
Al șaptesprezecelea lui Hezir, al optsprezecelea lui Afses,
16 The nineteenth to Pheteia, the twentieth to Hezechiel,
Al nouăsprezecelea lui Petahia, al douăzecilea lui Iehezechel,
17 The one and twentieth to Jachin, the two and twentieth to Gamul,
Al douăzeci și unulea lui Iachin, al douăzeci și doilea lui Gamul,
18 The three and twentieth to Dalaiau, the four and twentieth to Maaziau.
Al douăzeci și treilea lui Delaia, al douăzeci și patrulea lui Maazia.
19 These are their courses according to their ministries, to come into the house of the Lord, and according to their manner under the hand of Aaron their father: as the Lord the God of Israel had commanded.
Aceasta era ordinea lor în serviciul lor, pentru a intra în casa DOMNULUI, conform rânduielii lor, prin mâna lui Aaron, tatăl lor, precum DOMNUL Dumnezeul lui Israel îi poruncise.
20 Now of the rest of the sons of Levi, there was of the sons of Amram, Subael: and of the sons of Subael, Jehedeia.

21 Also of the sons of Rohobia the chief Jesias.
Referitor la Rehabia, dintre fiii lui Rehabia, întâiul a fost Ișia.
22 And the son of Isaar Salemoth, and the son of Salemoth Jahath:
Dintre ițehariți: Șelomot; dintre fiii lui Șelomot: Iahat.
23 And his son Jeriau the first, Amarias the second, Jahaziel the third, Jecmaan the fourth.
Și fiii lui Hebron: Ieriia, întâiul; Amaria, al doilea; Iahaziel, al treilea; Iecameam, al patrulea.
24 The son of Oziel, Micha: the son of Micha, Samir.
Dintre fiii lui Uziel: Mica; dintre fiii lui Mica: Șamir.
25 The brother of Micha, Jesia: and the son of Jesia, Zacharias.
Fratele lui Mica a fost Ișia; dintre fiii lui Ișia: Zaharia.
26 The sons of Merari: Moholi and Musi: the son of Oziau: Benno.
Fiii lui Merari au fost Mahli și Muși; fiii lui Iaazia: Beno.
27 The son also of Merari: Oziau, and Seam, and Zacchur, and Hebri.
Fiii lui Merari prin Iaazia: Beno și Șoham și Zacur și Ibri.
28 And the son of Moholi: Eleazar, who had no sons.
Din Mahli a ieșit Eleazar, care nu a avut fii.
29 And the son of Cis, Jeramael.
Referitor la Chiș, fiul lui Chiș a fost Ierahmeel.
30 The sons of Musi: Moholi, Eder, and Jerimoth. These are the sons of Levi according to the houses of their families.
De asemenea fiii lui Muși: Mahli și Eder și Ierimot. Aceștia au fost fiii leviților după casa părinților lor.
31 And they also cast lots over against their brethren the sons of Aaron before David the king, and Sadoc, and Ahimelech, and the princes of the priestly and Levitical families, both the elder and the younger. The lot divided all equally.
Aceștia de asemenea au aruncat sorți împreună cu frații lor, fiii lui Aaron, în prezența împăratului David și a lui Țadoc și a lui Ahimelec și a mai marelui părinților preoților și leviților, părinții mai mari împreună cu frații lor mai tineri.
