1 Chronicles 24
1 Now these were the divisions of the sons of Aaron: The sons of Aaron: Nadab, and Abiu, and Eleazar, and Ithamar.
E quanto aos filhos de Aarão, estes foram as suas divisões: os filhos de Aarão foram Nadab, e Abihu, e Eleazar e Ithamar.
2 But Nadab and Abiu died before their father, and had no children: so Eleazar, and Ithamar did the office of the priesthood.
E morreram Nadab e Abihu antes de seu pai, e não tiveram filhos: e Eleazar e Ithamar administravam o sacerdócio.
3 And David distributed them, that is, Sadoc of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their courses and ministry.
E David os repartiu, como também a Zadok, dos filhos de Eleazar, e Ahimelech, dos filhos de Ithamar, segundo o seu ofício no seu ministério.
4 And there were found many more of the sons of Eleazar among the principal men, than of the sons of Ithamar. And he divided them so, that there were of the sons of Eleazar, sixteen chief men by their families: and of the sons of Ithamar eight by their families and houses.
E achou-se que eram muitos mais os filhos de Eleazar entre os chefes de famílias do que os filhos de Ithamar, quando os repartiram: dos filhos de Eleazar dezeseis chefes das casas dos pais, mas dos filhos de Ithamar, segundo as casas de seus pais, oito.
5 And he divided both the families one with the other by lot: for there were princes of the sanctuary, and princes of God, both of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.
E os repartiram por sortes, uns com os outros; porque houve maiorais do santuário e maiorais da casa de Deus, assim dentre os filhos de Eleazar, como dentre os filhos de Ithamar.
6 And Semeias the son of Nathanael the scribe a Levite, wrote them down before the king and the princes, and Sadoc the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and the princes also of the priestly and Levitical families: one house, which was over the rest, of Eleazar: and another house, which had the rest under it, of Ithamar.
E os registou Semaias, filho de Nathanael, o escrivão dentre os levitas, perante o rei, e os príncipes, e Zadok, o sacerdote, e Ahimelech, filho de Abiathar, e os chefes dos pais entre os sacerdotes, e entre os levitas: uma dentre as casas dos pais se tomou para Eleazar, e se tomou outra para Ithamar.
7 Now the first lot came forth to Joiarib, the second to Jedei,
E saiu a primeira sorte a Jojarib, a segunda a Jedaias,
8 The third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,
A terceira a Harim, a quarta a Seorim,
9 The fifth to Melchia, the sixth to Maiman,
A quinta a Malchias, a sexta a Mihamin.
10 The seventh to Accos, the eighth to Abia,
A sétima a Hakkos, a oitava a Abias,
11 The ninth to Jesua, the tenth to Sechenia,
A nona a Jesua, a décima a Sechanias,
12 The eleventh to Eliasib, the twelfth to Jacim,
A undécima a Eliasib, a duodécima a Jakim,
13 The thirteenth to Hoppha, the fourteenth to Isbaab,
A décima terceira a Huppa, a décima quarta a Jesebeab,
14 The fifteenth to Belga, the sixteenth to Emmer,
A décima quinta a Bilga, a décima sexta a Immer,
15 The seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Aphses,
A décima sétima a Hezir, a décima oitava a Happises,
16 The nineteenth to Pheteia, the twentieth to Hezechiel,
A décima nona a Petahias, a vigésima a Jehezkel,
17 The one and twentieth to Jachin, the two and twentieth to Gamul,
A vigésima primeira a Jachin, a vigésima segunda a Gamul,
18 The three and twentieth to Dalaiau, the four and twentieth to Maaziau.
A vigésima terceira a Delaias, a vigésima quarta a Maazias.
19 These are their courses according to their ministries, to come into the house of the Lord, and according to their manner under the hand of Aaron their father: as the Lord the God of Israel had commanded.
O ofício destes no seu ministério era entrar na casa do Senhor, segundo lhes fôra ordenado por Aarão seu pai, como o Senhor Deus de Israel lhe tinha ordenado.
20 Now of the rest of the sons of Levi, there was of the sons of Amram, Subael: and of the sons of Subael, Jehedeia.
E do resto dos filhos de Levi: dos filhos de Amram, Subael: dos filhos de Subael, Jehdias.
21 Also of the sons of Rohobia the chief Jesias.
Quanto a Rehabias: dos filhos de Rehabias Issias era chefe;
22 And the son of Isaar Salemoth, and the son of Salemoth Jahath:
Dos isharitas, Selomoth; dos filhos de Selomoth, Jahoth;
23 And his son Jeriau the first, Amarias the second, Jahaziel the third, Jecmaan the fourth.
E dos filhos de Hebron, Jerias o primeiro, Amarias o segundo, Jahaziel o terceiro, Jekamam o quarto;
24 The son of Oziel, Micha: the son of Micha, Samir.
Dos filhos de Uziel, Micha; dos filhos de Micha, Samir;
25 The brother of Micha, Jesia: and the son of Jesia, Zacharias.
O irmão de Micha, Issias; dos filhos de Issias, Zacarias;
26 The sons of Merari: Moholi and Musi: the son of Oziau: Benno.
Os filhos de Merari, Maheli e Musi; dos filhos de Jaazias, Beno;
27 The son also of Merari: Oziau, and Seam, and Zacchur, and Hebri.
Os filhos de Merari de Jaazias, Beno, e Soham, e Zaccur, e Hibri;
28 And the son of Moholi: Eleazar, who had no sons.
De Maheli, Eleazar: e este não teve filhos.
29 And the son of Cis, Jeramael.
Quanto a Kis: dos filhos de Kis, Jerahmeel;
30 The sons of Musi: Moholi, Eder, and Jerimoth. These are the sons of Levi according to the houses of their families.
E os filhos, de Musi, Maheli, e Eder, e Jerimoth; estes foram os filhos dos levitas, segundo as suas casas paternas.
31 And they also cast lots over against their brethren the sons of Aaron before David the king, and Sadoc, and Ahimelech, and the princes of the priestly and Levitical families, both the elder and the younger. The lot divided all equally.
E também eles lançaram sortes igualmente com seus irmãos, os filhos de Aarão, perante o rei David, e Zadok, e Ahimelech, e os chefes dos pais entre os sacerdotes e entre os levitas: o chefe da casa dos pais e bem assim seu irmão menor.
