Zechariah 9
1 The burden of the word of Jehovah, in the land of Hadrach, and [on] Damascus shall it rest; (for Jehovah hath an eye upon men, and upon all the tribes of Israel; )
Carga da palavra do Senhor contra a terra de Haldrach, e Damasco será o seu repouso; porque o Senhor tem o olho sobre o homem, como sobre todas as tribus de Israel.
2 and also [on] Hamath [which] bordereth thereon; on Tyre and Zidon, though she be very wise.
E tambem Hamath n'ella terá termo: Tyro e Sidon, ainda que seja mui sabia.
3 And Tyre hath built herself a stronghold, and hath heaped up silver as the dust, and fine gold as the mire of the streets.
E Tyro edificou para si fortalezas, e amontoou prata como o pó, e oiro fino como a lama das ruas.
4 Behold, the Lord will take possession of her, and he will smite her power in the sea; and she shall be devoured with fire.
Eis que o Senhor a arrancará da posse, e ferirá no mar a sua força, e ella será consumida pelo fogo.
5 Ashkelon shall see [it], and fear; Gazah also, and she shall be greatly pained; Ekron also, for her expectation shall be put to shame: and the king shall perish from Gazah, and Ashkelon shall not be inhabited.
Ascalon o verá e temerá, tambem Gaza, e terá grande dôr; como tambem Ekron; porque a sua esperança será envergonhada; e o rei de Gaza perecerá, e Ascalon não será habitada
6 And a bastard shall dwell in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines;
E um bastardo habitará em Asdod, e exterminarei a soberba dos philisteos.
7 and I will take away his blood out of his mouth, and his abominations from between his teeth; but he that remaineth, he also shall belong to our God, and shall be as a leader in Judah, and Ekron as a Jebusite.
E da sua bocca tirarei o seu sangue, e d'entre os seus dentes as suas abominações; e elle tambem ficará de resto para o nosso Deus; e será como principe em Judah, e Ekron como o jebuseo.
8 And I will encamp about my house because of the army, because of those that pass by and that return; and the exactor shall not pass through them any more: for now have I seen [it] with mine eyes.
E me acamparei ao redor da minha casa, por causa do exercito, por causa do que passa, e por causa do que volta, para que não passe mais sobre elles o exactor; porque agora já o vi com os meus olhos.
9 Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion; shout, daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, thy King cometh to thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly and riding upon an ass, even upon a colt the foal of an ass.
Alegra-te muito, ó filha de Sião; exulta, ó filha de Jerusalem: eis que o teu rei virá a ti, justo e Salvador, pobre, e montado sobre um jumento, sobre um asninho, filho de jumenta.
10 And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem; and the battle-bow shall be cut off. And he shall speak peace unto the nations; and his dominion shall be from sea to sea, and from the river to the ends of the earth.
E destruirei os carros de Ephraim e os cavallos de Jerusalem: tambem o arco de guerra será destruido, e elle fallará paz ás nações; e o seu dominio se estenderá de um mar até outro mar, e desde o rio até ás extremidades da terra
11 As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant, I will send forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.
Quanto a ti tambem ó Sião, pelo sangue do teu concerto, soltei os teus presos da cova em que não havia agua.
12 Turn again to the stronghold, prisoners of hope! even to-day do I declare I will render double unto thee.
Voltae á fortaleza ó presos de esperança: tambem hoje vos annuncio que vos renderei em dobro.
13 For I have bent Judah for me, I have filled the bow with Ephraim; and I will raise up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and make thee like the sword of a mighty man.
Quando estendi Judah para mim como um arco, e enchi com Ephraim o arco, suscitarei a teus filhos, ó Sião, contra os teus filhos, ó Grecia! e pôr-te-hei como a espada de um valente.
14 And Jehovah shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning; and the Lord Jehovah will blow the trumpet, and will march with whirlwinds of the south.
E o Senhor será visto sobre elles, e as suas frechas sairão como o relampago; e o Senhor Jehovah tocará buzina, e irá com os redemoinhos do sul
15 Jehovah of hosts will defend them; and they shall devour, and shall tread down the sling-stones; and they shall drink, [and] make a noise as from wine; and they shall be filled like a bowl, like the corners of the altar.
O Senhor dos Exercitos os amparará, e comerão, depois que os tiverem sujeitado as pedras da funda: tambem beberão e farão alvoroço como de vinho; e encher-se-hão como a bacia, como os cantos do altar
16 And Jehovah their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people; for [they shall be as] the stones of a crown, lifted up upon his land.
E o Senhor seu Deus n'aquelle dia os salvará, como ao rebanho do seu povo; porque como as pedras da corôa serão levantados na sua terra, como bandeira.
17 For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! Corn shall make the young men flourish, and new wine the maidens.
Porque, quão grande é a sua bondade! e quão grande é a sua formosura! o trigo fará fallar os mancebos e o mosto as donzellas.
