Zechariah 6
1 And I lifted up mine eyes again, and saw, and behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.
Tôi nhìn lên, thấy có bốn cỗ xe từ giữa hai ngọn núi đi ra. Các núi ấy bằng đồng.
2 In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses;
Xe thứ nhất có những ngựa hồng kéo, xe thứ hai ngựa đen,
3 and in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled, strong horses.
xe thứ ba ngựa trắng, và xe thứ tư ngựa đốm xám.
4 And I spoke and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord?
Tôi hỏi thiên sứ: “Xin Ngài cho biết ý nghĩa.”
5 And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.
Thiên sứ đáp: “Đó là bốn thần linh trên trời. Họ là những vị đứng hầu trước mặt Chúa của toàn thế gian, và nay được sai đi.
6 That in which are the black horses goeth forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grisled go forth towards the south country;
Cỗ xe do ngựa đen kéo đi về phương bắc, cỗ xe ngựa trắng kéo đi về hướng tây, và cỗ xe ngựa đốm xám kéo đi về phương nam.”
7 and the strong go forth, and seek to go that they may walk to and fro through the earth. And he said, Go, walk to and fro through the earth. And they walked to and fro through the earth.
Khi kéo ra, đoàn ngựa nôn nóng chỉ muốn phóng đi ngay. Chúa Hằng Hữu phán: “Hãy đi và tuần tra khắp đất.” Đoàn ngựa cất vó phóng đi, qua lại khắp nơi.
8 And he cried unto me, and spoke unto me, saying, See, these that go forth towards the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.
Chúa gọi tôi, Ngài phán: “Những người đi về xứ bắc làm cho Thần Linh Ta nghỉ ngơi tại đó rồi.”
9 And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
Chúa Hằng Hữu phán bảo tôi:
10 Take [gifts] of them of the captivity, of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah, and come thou the same day, and enter into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, whither they are come from Babylon;
“Hiên-đai, Tô-bi-gia, và Giê-đa-gia, là những người đi đày từ Ba-by-lôn, về sẽ đem vàng bạc đến dâng. Ngay hôm ấy, sau khi nhận lễ vật, ngươi phải đến nhà Giô-si-a, con Sô-phô-ni,
11 yea, take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set [them] upon the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest;
dùng vàng bạc làm thành vương miện, đem đội lên đầu thầy thượng tế Giô-sua, con Giô-xa-đác.
12 and speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh Jehovah of hosts, saying, Behold a man whose name is [the] Branch; and he shall grow up from his own place, and he shall build the temple of Jehovah:
Hãy nói với người như sau: ‘Đây là điều Chúa Hằng Hữu Vạn Quân phán: Một người tên là Chồi Nhánh mọc ra từ chỗ mình sẽ cất Đền Thờ Chúa Hằng Hữu.
13 even he shall build the temple of Jehovah; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.
Phải, Người sẽ xây Đền Thờ Chúa Hằng Hữu. Người sẽ được tôn trọng, ngồi cai trị trên ngai, đồng thời làm Vua và Thầy Tế Lễ. Sự hòa hợp giữa hai chức vị sẽ tuyệt hảo.’
14 And the crowns shall be for Helem, and for Tobijah, and for Jedaiah, and for Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of Jehovah.
Vương miện sẽ được giữ lại trong Đền Thờ Chúa Hằng Hữu để nhớ đến Hiên-đai, Tô-bi-gia, Giê-đa-gia, và Giô-si-a, con Sô-phô-ni.”
15 And they that are far off shall come and build at the temple of Jehovah: and ye shall know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me unto you. And [this] shall come to pass, if ye will diligently hearken to the voice of Jehovah your God.
Dân chúng từ những nơi xa sẽ đến lo giúp việc xây cất Đền Thờ Chúa Hằng Hữu. Khi ấy, anh chị em sẽ biết chính Chúa Hằng Hữu Vạn Quân đã sai tôi truyền sứ điệp này. Nếu anh chị em cẩn trọng tuân hành mệnh lệnh Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời mình, thì những điều này sẽ được ứng nghiệm.
