Zechariah 4
1 And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep.
Ary niverina ilay anjely niresaka tamiko ka namoha ahy toy ny olona fohazina amin-tory.
2 And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I see, and behold, a lamp-stand all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and its seven lamps thereon, seven [lamps] and seven pipes to the lamps, which are upon the top thereof;
Dia hoy izy tamiko: Inona no hitanao? Ary hoy izaho: Hitako fa, indro, misy fanaovan-jiro tena volamena, ary ny fitoeran-diloilony dia eo an-tampony, ary ny lela fanaovan-jirony fito kosa dia eo aminy, ary misy fantsona fito avy amin’ ny isan’ ny lela fanaovan-jiro izay eo an-tampony;
3 and two olive-trees beside it, one on the right of the bowl, and the other on the left of it.
ary misy hazo oliva roa eo anilany, ny anankiray eo ankavanan’ ny fitoeran-diloilo, ary ny anankiray eo an-kaviany.
4 And I answered and spoke to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?
Dia niteny tamin’ ilay anjely niresaka tamiko aho nanao hoe: Inona moa ireo, tompoko?
5 And the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these are? And I said, No, my lord.
Ary ilay anjely niresaka tamiko dia namaly ka nanao tamiko hoe: Tsy fantatrao va ireo? Fa hoy izaho: Tsia, tompoko.
6 And he answered and spoke unto me, saying, This is the word of Jehovah unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith Jehovah of hosts.
Dia namaly izy ka nanao tamiko hoe: Izao no tenin’ i Jehovah amin’ i Zerobabela: Tsy amin-kery na amim-pahatanjahana, fa amin’ ny Fanahiko, hoy Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro.
7 Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel [thou dost become] a plain; and he shall bring forth the head-stone with shoutings: Grace, grace unto it!
Iza moa ianao, ry tendrombohitra lehibe? Ho tonga tany lemaka eo anoloan’ i Zerobabela ianao; ary ho entiny mivoaka ny vato hatao tendrony sady hisy fiantsoana hoe: Fahasoavana, fahasoavana anie ho aminy!
8 And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
Dia tonga tamiko indray ny tenin’ i Jehovah nanao hoe:
9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; and his hands shall finish it: and thou shalt know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me unto you.
Ny tànan’ i Zerobabela no nanao ny fanorenan’ ity trano ity, ary ny tànany koa no hamita azy; ka dia ho fantatrao fa Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro, no naniraka ahy ho aminao.
10 For who hath despised the day of small things? Yea, they shall rejoice [even] those seven — and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel: these are the eyes of Jehovah, which run to and fro in the whole earth.
Fa iza no nanamavo ny andron’ ny zava-madinika? Ho faly mahita ny pilao eny an-tànan’ i Zerobabela ireo fito ireo, dia ny mason’ i Jehovah, izay mijery eny tontolo eny eran’ ny tany rehetra
11 And I answered and said unto him, What are these two olive-trees on the right of the lamp-stand and on its left?
Dia namaly aho ka nanao taminy hoe: Inona moa ireo hazo oliva roa eo ankavanan’ ny fanaovan-jiro sy eo an-kaviany ireo?
12 And I answered the second time and said unto him, What are the two olive-branches which are beside the two golden tubes that empty the gold out of themselves?
Ary namaly koa aho ka nanao taminy hoe: Inona moa ireo sampahon’ oliva roa eo amin’ ny fantsona volamena izay mampijononoka ny diloilo volamena avy ao aminy ireo?
13 And he spoke to me, saying, Knowest thou not what these are? And I said, No, my lord.
Dia namaly izy hoe: Tsy fantatrao va ireo? Ary hoy izaho: Tsia, tompoko.
14 And he said, These are the two sons of oil, that stand before the Lord of the whole earth.
Dia hoy izy: Ireo no zana-diloilo roa, izay mitsangana eo anoloan’ ny Tompon’ ny tany rehetra.
