< Romans 4 >
1 What shall we say then that Abraham our father according to flesh has found?
Vbvrikunamv, ngonu oguv vla minladu, Abraham, ngonugv halung gv abu vre? Ninyigv rikivngki kunamv ogugukudw?
2 For if Abraham has been justified on the principle of works, he has whereof to boast: but not before God;
Vkvgv rinam dvdv lokv Pwknvyarnv kaagelo tarwkbak bv vvpv kubolo, hv oguogu rinam dvdv lvkwnglo googv svgobv ridu—vbvritola Pwknvyarnv gv kaagelo rimadu.
3 for what does the scripture say? And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness.
Darwknv kitap vv mindu, “Abraham Pwknvyarnvnyi mvngjwngto, okv ogulvgavbolo ninyigv mvngjwng lokv Pwknvyarnv ninyia darwknv gobv laarwk sito.”
4 Now to him that works the reward is not reckoned as of grace, but of debt:
Yvvnyiv riduvngdudw um rijo ngam jidu, vbvritola hv bunua anyuamin jinam gobv mvngmadu; hv bunugv ogugo paadudw vv nyingnam lokv paadu.
5 but to him who does not work, but believes on him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is reckoned as righteousness.
Vbvritola yvvdw mvngjwng lo mvngging dudw, rinamgwngnam lokv mabv, okv yvvdw Pwknvyarnvnyi mvngjwng dunv oogv rimur nvnga apaamanv nga alvmanv gobv minv, vkvgv so mvngjwng lokv Pwknvyarnv sapkamsapa la vvpvdu bunua ninyigv atubogv gvlo tarwkbak bv laalwk kunam lvgabv.
6 Even as David also declares the blessedness of the man to whom God reckons righteousness without works:
Nyidam akonyi Pwknvyarnv tarwkbak nvgobv turwk sitoku ninyigv kudungkua rikunama miya kumabv v achialvbv mvngputo ho mvngpu nam lvkwng bv Dabid svbv minto.
7 Blessed [they] whose lawlessnesses have been forgiven, and whose sins have been covered:
“Mvngpuv oogv yvvgv rigakpanam am mvngnga pvkudw, yvvgv rimur vdwa mvngnga pvkudw!
8 blessed [the] man to whom [the] Lord shall not at all reckon sin.
yvvnyi rimur am Ahtu sapkamsapa namlo vvpv mapvdw vv mvngpuv!”
9 [Does] this blessedness then [rest] on the circumcision, or also on the uncircumcision? For we say that faith has been reckoned to Abraham as righteousness.
Soogv mvngpuv vla minamv Dabid yvvnyi ayakmvu lwknam mvngchik lvgabv mimwng pvnvre? Ma vbvrinam lokvma, si ayakmvu lwkmanam jeka. Ngonu Darwknv kitap lokv kaala kuju, “Abraham Pwknvyarnvnyi mvngjwngto, okv ogulvgavbolo ninyigv mvngjwng lokv Pwknvyarnv darwknv gobv ninyia laarwk sitoku.”
10 How then has it been reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.
Vdwlo sum laarwk sipvnv? Kvvlo Abrahamnyi ayakmvu madv yilore vmalo ayakmvu ronga pvku are? Si kvvlo lokvku, kokwngloma.
11 And he received [the] sign of circumcision [as] seal of the righteousness of faith which [he had] being in uncircumcision, that he might be [the] father of all them that believe being in uncircumcision, that righteousness might be reckoned to them also;
Hv ayakmvu ropvku kokwng lo, okv ninyigv ayakmvu jinam nga kaatam la rito ogulvgavbolo ninyigv mvngjwng lokv Pwknvyarnv darwknv bv ninyia laarwk sitoku oogv richo pukua ayakmvua mvpvkunv. Okv vkvlvgabv Pwknvyarnv lo mvngjwng la doonv dvdvgv Darwkchongjor gvnv abu bv Abrahamnyi mindunv okv ninyi gvlo gvngv darwk nvbv laarwk sidunv, hv bunua ayakmvu majvka laarwk sitoku.
12 and father of circumcision, not only to those who are of [the] circumcision, but to those also who walk in the steps of the faith, during uncircumcision, of our father Abraham.
Hv ka yvvdw ayakmvu pvdw vkvgv abu bv ridukunv, si, yvvdw, ayakmvu minggv kunv gvbvka rinv, Abraham gv dootv madvyilo gvngv kvvlo gv mvngjwng la doodu kalam la donv hv ka ayakmvu pvkunam vkvgv abu bvka ridunv.
13 For [it was] not by law that the promise was to Abraham, or to his seed, that he should be heir of [the] world, but by righteousness of faith.
Abraham nyila okv ninyigv husi vdwa nyiamookuv ninyi gvbv rire vla milv jinama, hv vbv mvtoku, ogulvgavbolo Abraham Pvbv am tvvnam lokvma vbvritola vkvlvgavbolo hv mvngjwng toku okv darwk kunam lokv Pwknvyarnv gvlo laarwk sila ritoku.
14 For if they which [are] of law be heirs, faith is made vain, and the promise made of no effect.
Pvbv am tvvnv vdw sum Pwknvyarnv gv ogunv milvpvdw um jibolo, mvngjwng namsi anyung kaakumare okv Pwknvyarnv gv milv pvkunam vv ogubvka riku mare.
15 For law works wrath; but where no law is neither [is there] transgression.
Pvbv vv Pwknvyarnv gv haachiak nvnga laalwk moludo; vbvritola ogolo Pvbv kaama pvdw, hoka Pvbv a tvvmabv ridung dubv riku kamadu.
16 Therefore [it is] on the principle of faith, that [it might be] according to grace, in order to the promise being sure to all the seed, not to that only which [is] of the law, but to that also which [is] of Abraham's faith, who is father of us all,
Okv mvngjwng nga kaala yikula milv nam nga milin pvnv, vv Abraham gv singsit dvdv ngam Pwknvyarnv gv vbv anyuamin bv jinam gobv rirungdubv milv pvvjitoku—yvvdw Pvbv am tvvdudw o mvngchik gvbv ma, vbvritola yvvdw Abraham aingbv mvngjwng dudw holvgabvka jidu. Abraham ngonu mvnwng gv lvgabv yalu gv abu riduku;

19 and not being weak in faith, he considered not his own body already become dead, being about a hundred years old, and the deadening of Sarah's womb,

20 and hesitated not at the promise of God through unbelief; but found strength in faith, giving glory to God;
