Romans 4
1 What shall we say then that Abraham our father according to flesh has found?
၁သို့ဖြစ်၍ငါတို့လူမျိုး၏အဖဖြစ်သူ အာဗြဟံ၏အကြောင်းကိုစဉ်းစားကြည့် ကြစို့။ သူ၏အတွေ့အကြုံကားအောက်ပါ အတိုင်းဖြစ်သည်။-
2 For if Abraham has been justified on the principle of works, he has whereof to boast: but not before God;
၂အကယ်၍အာဗြဟံသည်မိမိ၏အကျင့် သီလအားဖြင့် ဘုရားသခင်နှင့်မှန်ကန်စွာ ဆက်ဆံခွင့်ကိုရရှိပါမူ သူ့မှာဂုဏ်ယူဝါ ကြွားစရာအကြောင်းရှိပေသည်။ သို့ရာတွင် သူသည်ဘုရားသခင်၏ရှေ့တော်မှောက်တွင် ထိုသို့ဂုဏ်ယူဝါကြွားမှုကိုမပြုနိုင်။-
3 for what does the scripture say? And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness.
၃ကျမ်းစာတော်က``အာဗြဟံသည်ဘုရား သခင်ကိုယုံကြည်သဖြင့် ဘုရားသခင် သည်သူ့အားဖြောင့်မတ်သူအဖြစ်လက်ခံ တော်မူ၏'' ဟုဆိုသည်။-
4 Now to him that works the reward is not reckoned as of grace, but of debt:
၄လူတစ်စုံတစ်ယောက်သည်အလုပ်လုပ်၍ အခကြေးငွေကိုရရှိသောအခါ ထိုကြေး ငွေသည်လက်ဆောင်အဖြစ်ရသောအရာ မဟုတ်ဘဲမိမိအလုပ်လုပ်၍ရသောအရာ ဖြစ်၏။-
5 but to him who does not work, but believes on him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is reckoned as righteousness.
၅သို့ရာတွင်သူသည်မိမိ၏အကျင့်သီလ ကိုအားမကိုးဘဲယုံကြည်ခြင်းကိုအားကိုး လျှင် ဘုရားသခင်သည်သူ၏ယုံကြည်မှုကို ထောက်ရှုလျက် သူ့အားအပြစ်မရှိဟုစီရင် ချက်ချမှတ်တော်မူသည်။ သူ၏ယုံကြည်ခြင်း ကြောင့်ဘုရားသခင်သည်သူ့ကိုမိမိနှင့် မှန်ကန်စွာဆက်ဆံစေတော်မူ၏။-
6 Even as David also declares the blessedness of the man to whom God reckons righteousness without works:
၆အကျင့်သီလကိုမထောက်ဘဲဘုရားသခင် သည်ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူအဖြစ်လက်ခံတော်မူ ခြင်းကို ခံရသောသူသည်မင်္ဂလာရှိကြောင်း ဖော်ပြရာ၌ဒါဝိဒ်မင်းက၊
7 Blessed [they] whose lawlessnesses have been forgiven, and whose sins have been covered:
၇``အပြစ်ပြေလွတ်ခွင့်နှင့်အပြစ်ဒုစရိုက်အတွက် လွတ်ငြိမ်းချမ်းသာခွင့်ကိုရသောသူသည် မင်္ဂလာရှိ၏။
8 blessed [the] man to whom [the] Lord shall not at all reckon sin.
၈မိမိ၏အပြစ်များကိုထာဝရဘုရားမှတ်တော်မူ ခြင်းကို၊ မခံရသောသူသည်မင်္ဂလာရှိ၏'' ဟုမြွက်ဆိုလေသည်။
9 [Does] this blessedness then [rest] on the circumcision, or also on the uncircumcision? For we say that faith has been reckoned to Abraham as righteousness.
၉ဒါဝိဒ်မင်းဖော်ပြသောမင်္ဂလာကိုအရေဖျား လှီးခြင်းခံသူတို့သာလျှင်ရရှိကြသလော။ အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းမခံသူတို့လည်းရရှိ ကြပေသည်။ ငါတို့ဖော်ပြခဲ့သောကျမ်းစာ အရ``အာဗြဟံသည်ဘုရားသခင်ကိုယုံကြည် သဖြင့်ဘုရားသခင်သည်သူ့အားဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူအဖြစ်လက်ခံတော်မူ၏။-''
10 How then has it been reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.
၁၀ဤသို့အာဗြဟံအားဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူ အဖြစ်ဘုရားသခင်လက်ခံတော်မူသည့် အချိန်မှာ အာဗြဟံအရေဖျားလှီးမင်္ဂလာ ခံပြီးမှလော။ မခံရသေးမီကလော။ ခံပြီး မှမဟုတ်။ မခံရသေးမီကဖြစ်၏။-
11 And he received [the] sign of circumcision [as] seal of the righteousness of faith which [he had] being in uncircumcision, that he might be [the] father of all them that believe being in uncircumcision, that righteousness might be reckoned to them also;
၁၁သူ့အားဘုရားသခင်ယင်းသို့လက်ခံတော်မူ ပြီးမှအာဗြဟံသည်အရေဖျားလှီးမင်္ဂလာ ခံရ၏။ ထိုအရေဖျားလှီးမင်္ဂလာကားဘုရား သခင်သည်အာဗြဟံ၏ယုံကြည်မှုကိုထောက် လျက် အရေဖျားလှီးမင်္ဂလာမခံမီဖြောင့်မတ်သူ အဖြစ်လက်ခံတော်မူကြောင်းကိုသက်သေပြ သောအမှတ်လက္ခဏာပင်ဖြစ်၏။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ အာဗြဟံသည်အရေဖျားလှီးမင်္ဂလာကို မခံသော်လည်းဘုရားသခင်ကိုယုံကြည် ခြင်းအားဖြင့် ဖြောင့်မတ်သူအဖြစ်ကိုယ်တော် လက်ခံသူအပေါင်းတို့၏အဖဖြစ်လာ ၏။-
12 and father of circumcision, not only to those who are of [the] circumcision, but to those also who walk in the steps of the faith, during uncircumcision, of our father Abraham.
၁၂သူသည်အရေဖျားလှီးမင်္ဂလာခံသူတို့၏ အဖလည်းဖြစ်ပေသည်။ တစ်နည်းကားသူ သည်အရေဖျားလှီးမင်္ဂလာကိုခံကြရုံမက ငါတို့အဖအာဗြဟံအရေဖျားလှီးမင်္ဂလာ ကိုမခံမီက ဘုရားသခင်ကိုယုံကြည်ခြင်း စံနမူနာကိုလိုက်သူတို့၏အဖလည်းဖြစ် သည်။
13 For [it was] not by law that the promise was to Abraham, or to his seed, that he should be heir of [the] world, but by righteousness of faith.
၁၃ဘုရားသခင်သည် အာဗြဟံနှင့်သားမြေးတို့ အားကမ္ဘာလောကကို ပိုင်စေတော်မူမည်ဟုကတိ ထားတော်မူခဲ့၏။ ဤသို့ကတိထားတော်မူခြင်း မှာအာဗြဟံသည်ပညတ်တရားကိုစောင့်ထိန်း သောကြောင့်မဟုတ်၊ ဘုရားသခင်ကိုယုံကြည် သဖြင့်သူ့အားဖြောင့်မတ်သူအဖြစ်ကိုယ်တော် လက်ခံတော်မူသောကြောင့်ဖြစ်၏။-
14 For if they which [are] of law be heirs, faith is made vain, and the promise made of no effect.
၁၄အကယ်၍ပညတ်တရားကိုစောင့်ထိန်းကြ သူများသာလျှင် ကတိတော်ကိုခံစားရကြ မည်ဆိုလျှင်ဘုရားသခင်အားယုံကြည်မှု သည်အချည်းနှီးဖြစ်၍ကတိတော်သည် လည်းအဋ္ဌိပ္ပါယ်မရှိတော့ပေ။-
15 For law works wrath; but where no law is neither [is there] transgression.
၁၅ပညတ်တရားသည်ဘုရားသခင်၏အမျက် တော်ကိုဖြစ်ပွားစေ၏။ သို့ရာတွင်တရား ဥပဒေမရှိလျှင်တရားဥပဒေကိုချိုး ဖောက်ခြင်းလည်းမရှိနိုင်။
16 Therefore [it is] on the principle of faith, that [it might be] according to grace, in order to the promise being sure to all the seed, not to that only which [is] of the law, but to that also which [is] of Abraham's faith, who is father of us all,
၁၆သို့ဖြစ်၍အာဗြဟံသားမြေးအပေါင်းတို့ သည်ဘုရားသခင်၏ကတိတော်ကိုအခမဲ့ ခံစားခွင့်ရှိကြောင်း အာမခံချက်ရှိစေရန် ကိုယ်တော်သည်အာဗြဟံ၏ယုံကြည်မှုအပေါ် တွင်အခြေခံ၍ကတိထားတော်မူ၏။ ထို ကတိတော်သည်ပညတ်တရားကိုစောင့်ထိန်း သူများအတွက်သာလျှင်မဟုတ်။ အာဗြဟံ ကဲ့သို့ဘုရားသခင်ကိုယုံကြည်သူတို့ အတွက်လည်းဖြစ်၏။ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော် အာဗြဟံသည်ငါတို့အားလုံး၏အဖဖြစ် သောကြောင့်တည်း။-
17 (according as it is written, I have made thee father of many nations, ) before the God whom he believed, who quickens the dead, and calls the things which be not as being;
၁၇``ငါသည်သင့်အားလူမျိုးအမြောက်အမြားတို့ ၏အဖဖြစ်စေပြီ'' ဟုကျမ်းစာတော်တွင်ဖော်ပြ သည်နှင့်အညီဖြစ်သည်။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ဘုရားသခင် ၏ရှေ့တော်၌ထိုကတိတော်တည်ရ၏။ ဘုရား သခင်သည်အာဗြဟံယုံကြည်သောဘုရား၊ သူ သေတို့ကိုအသက်ရှင်စေသောဘုရား၊ ယခင် ကမဖြစ်ဘူးသည့်အရာများကိုဖြစ်ပေါ် စေရန်အမိန့်ပေးတော်မူသောဘုရားဖြစ် တော်မူ၏။-
18 who against hope believed in hope to his becoming father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be:
၁၈အာဗြဟံသည်မျှော်လင့်စရာမဲ့သောအခြေ အနေ၌ပင်လျှင်ဘုရားသခင်ကိုယုံကြည် ခဲ့၏။ သို့ဖြစ်၍သူသည်လူမျိုးအမြောက်အမြား တို့၏အဖဖြစ်လာ၏။ ကျမ်းစာတော်တွင်``သင် ၏အမျိုးအနွယ်တို့သည်ကြယ်ကဲ့သို့များ ပြားလိမ့်မည်'' ဟုဖော်ပြသည့်အတိုင်း ဖြစ်၏။-
19 and not being weak in faith, he considered not his own body already become dead, being about a hundred years old, and the deadening of Sarah's womb,
၁၉ထိုအချိန်၌အာဗြဟံသည်အသက်တစ်ရာ ခန့်ပင်ရှိ၍ မိမိ၏ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာသည်အသေကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်လျက်နေကြောင်းကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ စာရာ သည်လည်းကလေးမရနိုင်ကြောင်းကိုလည်း ကောင်းသိသော်လည်း ဘုရားသခင်အပေါ်တွင် ယုံကြည်မှုခိုင်မြဲလျက်ရှိ၏။-
20 and hesitated not at the promise of God through unbelief; but found strength in faith, giving glory to God;
၂၀သူသည်အဘယ်အခါ၌မျှဘုရားသခင် ၏ကတိတော်ကိုယုံမှားသံသယမဖြစ်။ ကိုယ်တော့်အပေါ်ယုံကြည်မှုကိုလည်းမစွန့် လွှတ်။ ဘုရားသခင်ကိုယုံကြည်သည်ဖြစ်၍ ခွန်အားပြည့်ဝလာ၏။ ထို့ကြောင့်သူသည် ဘုရားသခင်၏ဂုဏ်တော်ကိုချီးမွမ်းပေ သည်။-
21 and being fully persuaded that what he has promised he is able also to do;
၂၁ဘုရားသခင်သည်မိမိကတိထားတော်မူသည့် အတိုင်းပြုတော်မူနိုင်ကြောင်းအာဗြဟံသည် အကြွင်းမဲ့ယုံကြည်၏။-
22 wherefore also it was reckoned to him as righteousness.
၂၂ထိုသို့ယုံကြည်မှုကြောင့်ဘုရားသခင်သည် သူ့အားဖြောင့်မတ်သူအဖြစ်လက်ခံတော် မူ၏။-
23 Now it was not written on his account alone that it was reckoned to him,
၂၃``ဘုရားသခင်သည်သူ့အားဖြောင့်မတ်သူ အဖြစ်လက်ခံတော်မူ၏'' ဟူသောစကားရပ် သည်အာဗြဟံတစ်ဦးတည်းသာရည်ညွှန်း သည်မဟုတ်။-
24 but on ours also, to whom, believing on him who has raised from among [the] dead Jesus our Lord,
၂၄ငါတို့အားလည်းရည်ညွှန်းပေသည်။ အဘယ် ကြောင့်ဆိုသော်ငါတို့၏အရှင်သခင်ယေရှု အားရှင်ပြန်ထမြောက်စေသောဘုရားသခင် ကို ငါတို့ယုံကြည်သဖြင့်ငါတို့အားဖြောင့် မတ်သူများအဖြစ်ကိုယ်တော်လက်ခံမည် ဖြစ်သောကြောင့်တည်း။-
25 who has been delivered for our offences and has been raised for our justification, it will be reckoned.
၂၅ထိုအရှင်သည်ငါတို့အပြစ်များကြောင့်အသေ ခံစေရန်အပ်နှံခြင်းကိုခံတော်မူ၏။ ငါတို့အား ဘုရားသခင်နှင့်မှန်ကန်စွာဆက်ဆံစေအံ့သော ငှာကိုယ်တော်အားသေခြင်းမှရှင်ပြန်ထမြောက် စေတော်မူ၏။
