< Revelation 5 >
1 And I saw on the right hand of him that sat upon the throne a book, written within and on the back, sealed with seven seals.
anantara. m tasya sihaasanopavi. s.tajanasya dak. si. naste. anta rbahi"sca likhita. m patrameka. m mayaa d. r.s. ta. m tat saptamudraabhira"nkita. m|
2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who [is] worthy to open the book, and to break its seals?
tatpa"scaad eko balavaan duuto d. r.s. ta. h sa uccai. h svare. na vaacamimaa. m gho. sayati ka. h patrametad vivariitu. m tammudraa mocayitu ncaarhati?
3 And no one was able in the heaven, or upon the earth, or underneath the earth, to open the book, or to regard it.
kintu svargamarttyapaataale. su tat patra. m vivariitu. m niriik. situ nca kasyaapi saamarthya. m naabhavat|
4 And I wept much because no one had been found worthy to open the book nor to regard it.
ato yastat patra. m vivariitu. m niriik. situ ncaarhati taad. r"sajanasyaabhaavaad aha. m bahu roditavaan|
5 And one of the elders says to me, Do not weep. Behold, the lion which [is] of the tribe of Juda, the root of David, has overcome [so as] to open the book, and its seven seals.
kintu te. saa. m praaciinaanaam eko jano maamavadat maa rodii. h pa"sya yo yihuudaava. m"siiya. h si. mho daayuudo muulasvaruupa"scaasti sa patrasya tasya saptamudraa. naa nca mocanaaya pramuutavaan|
6 And I saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb standing, as slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God [which are] sent into all the earth:
apara. m si. mhaasanasya catur. naa. m praa. ninaa. m praaciinavargasya ca madhya eko me. sa"saavako mayaa d. r.s. ta. h sa chedita iva tasya sapta"s. r"ngaa. ni saptalocanaani ca santi taani k. rtsnaa. m p. rthivii. m pre. sitaa ii"svarasya saptaatmaana. h|
7 and it came and took [it] out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
sa upaagatya tasya si. mhaasanopavi. s.tajanasya dak. si. nakaraat tat patra. m g. rhiitavaan|
8 And when it took the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell before the Lamb, having each a harp and golden bowls full of incenses, which are the prayers of the saints.
patre g. rhiite catvaara. h praa. nina"scaturvi. m.m"satipraaciinaa"sca tasya me. sa"saavakasyaantike pra. nipatanti te. saam ekaikasya karayo rvii. naa. m sugandhidravyai. h paripuur. na. m svar. namayapaatra nca ti. s.thati taani pavitralokaanaa. m praarthanaasvaruupaa. ni|
9 And they sing a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open its seals; because thou hast been slain, and hast redeemed to God, by thy blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation,
apara. m te nuutanameka. m giitamagaayan, yathaa, grahiitu. m patrikaa. m tasya mudraa mocayitu. m tathaa| tvamevaarhasi yasmaat tva. m balivat chedana. m gata. h| sarvvaabhyo jaatibhaa. saabhya. h sarvvasmaad va. m"sade"sata. h| ii"svarasya k. rte. asmaan tva. m sviiyaraktena kriitavaan|
10 and made them to our God kings and priests; and they shall reign over the earth.
asmadii"svarapak. se. asmaan n. rpatiin yaajakaanapi| k. rtavaa. mstena raajatva. m kari. syaamo mahiitale||
11 And I saw, and I heard [the] voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and their number was ten thousands of ten thousands and thousands of thousands;
apara. m niriik. samaa. nena mayaa si. mhaasanasya praa. nicatu. s.tayasya praaciinavargasya ca parito bahuunaa. m duutaanaa. m rava. h "sruta. h, te. saa. m sa. mkhyaa ayutaayutaani sahasrasahastraa. ni ca|
12 saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that has been slain, to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
tairuccairidam ukta. m, paraakrama. m dhana. m j naana. m "sakti. m gauravamaadara. m| pra"sa. msaa ncaarhati praaptu. m chedito me. sa"saavaka. h||
13 And every creature which is in the heaven and upon the earth and under the earth, and [those that are] upon the sea, and all things in them, heard I saying, To him that sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb, blessing, and honour, and glory, and might, to the ages of ages. (aiōn )

14 And the four living creatures said, Amen; and the elders fell down and did homage.
