Revelation 22
1 And he shewed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, going out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
Potem anioł pokazał mi rzekę wody życia, czystą jak kryształ. Wypływała ona z tronu Boga i Baranka
2 In the midst of its street, and of the river, on this side and on that side, [the] tree of life, producing twelve fruits, in each month yielding its fruit; and the leaves of the tree for healing of the nations.
i biegła przez środek miasta. Na obu jej brzegach rosło drzewo życia, owocujące dwanaście razy w roku, każdego miesiąca rodzące inne owoce. Liście tego drzewa służyły narodom za lekarstwo.
3 And no curse shall be any more; and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him,
W mieście tym nie będzie niczego, co zostało przeklęte przez Boga. Bóg i Baranek będą zasiadać na tronie. Słudzy Boga będą oddawać Mu cześć,
4 and they shall see his face; and his name [is] on their foreheads.
zobaczą Go bowiem twarzą w twarz, a Jego imię zostanie wypisane na ich czołach.
5 And night shall not be any more, and no need of a lamp, and light of [the] sun; for [the] Lord God shall shine upon them, and they shall reign to the ages of ages. (aiōn g165)
W mieście tym nie będzie nocy, jego mieszkańcy nie będą więc potrzebowali lamp ani słońca. Ich jedynym światłem będzie bowiem Bóg, z którym będą wiecznie królować. (aiōn g165)
6 And he said to me, These words [are] faithful and true; and [the] Lord God of the spirits of the prophets has sent his angel to shew to his bondmen the things which must soon come to pass.
Następnie anioł, zwracając się do mnie, powiedział: —Słowa te są prawdziwe i wiarygodne, gdyż pochodzą od Pana. Bóg, który przemawia przez proroków, wysłał bowiem swojego anioła, aby ukazał Jego sługom to, co się niebawem wydarzy.
7 And behold, I come quickly. Blessed [is] he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.
Pan wkrótce przyjdzie! Szczęśliwy jest ten, kto ufa proroczym słowom tej księgi!
8 And I, John, [was] he who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to do homage before the feet of the angel who shewed me these things.
Ja, Jan, jestem tym, który to wszystko słyszał i widział. Po tym wszystkim padłem do nóg anioła, który mi to przekazał, chcąc oddać mu cześć.
9 And he says to me, See [thou do it] not. I am thy fellow-bondman, and [the fellow-bondman] of thy brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Do homage to God.
Ale on rzekł: —Nie czyń tego! Ja także jestem tylko sługą Boga, podobnie jak ty i inni wierzący, którzy są prorokami, lub ufają słowom tej księgi. Cześć należy się tylko Bogu!
10 And he says to me, Seal not the words of the prophecy of this book. The time is near.
Potem dodał: —Nie zamykaj tej księgi i nie pieczętuj jej proroczych słów, ponieważ wkrótce się wypełnią.
11 Let him that does unrighteously do unrighteously still; and let the filthy make himself filthy still; and let him that is righteous practise righteousness still; and he that is holy, let him be sanctified still.
Ten, kto czyni zło, niech nadal tak postępuje, a ten, kto jest brudny, niech brudzi się jeszcze bardziej. Ten jednak, kto jest prawy, niech dąży do jeszcze większej prawości, a święty—do jeszcze większej świętości.
12 Behold, I come quickly, and my reward with me, to render to every one as his work shall be.
Jezus mówi: „Wkrótce przyjdę i nagrodzę wszystkich stosownie do ich czynów.
13 I [am] the Alpha and the Omega, [the] first and [the] last, the beginning and the end.
Ja jestem Alfa i Omega, Pierwszy i Ostatni, Początek i Koniec.
14 Blessed [are] they that wash their robes, that they may have right to the tree of life, and that they should go in by the gates into the city.
Szczęśliwi są ci, którzy oczyścili swoje szaty, aby móc wejść do Bożego miasta i spożywać owoce z drzewa życia.
15 Without [are] the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and every one that loves and makes a lie.
Na zewnątrz znajdą się ludzie, którzy zachowują się jak psy, uprawiają czary, prowadzą rozwiązłe życie, oddają cześć podobiznom bożków oraz ci, którzy okłamują innych, bo kochają kłamstwo.
16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify these things to you in the assemblies. I am the root and offspring of David, the bright [and] morning star.
Ja, Jezus, wysłałem mojego anioła, aby potwierdził kościołom, że to wszystko jest prawdą. Jestem potomkiem króla Dawida, ale także jego przodkiem oraz jasną Gwiazdą Poranną!”.
17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that is athirst come; he that will, let him take [the] water of life freely.
Duch i narzeczona wołają: „Przyjdź już!”. Każdy, kto usłyszy te słowa, niech razem z nimi zawoła: „Przyjdź już!”. Ten zaś, kto jest spragniony, niech przyjdzie. Każdy, kto pragnie wody życia, niech ją za darmo weźmie.
18 I testify to every one who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, If any one shall add to these things, God shall add to him the plagues which are written in this book.
Każdego, kto słucha proroczych słów tej księgi, ostrzegam: Jeśli ktokolwiek doda coś do tej treści, Bóg ukarze go klęskami opisanymi w tej księdze.
19 And if any one take from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.
Jeśli zaś pominie któreś z zawartych w niej proroctw, Bóg nie wpuści go do świętego miasta, które zostało w niej opisane, i nie pozwoli mu spożywać owoców z drzewa życia.
20 He that testifies these things says, Yea, I come quickly. Amen; come, Lord Jesus.
Ten, od którego pochodzą te prorocze słowa, mówi: „Tak! Już wkrótce przyjdę”. Amen! Przyjdź już, Panie Jezu!
21 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ [be] with all the saints.
Niech Pan Jezus obdarza was wszystkich swoją łaską!
