Revelation 22
1 And he shewed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, going out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
Il me montra aussi un fleuve d’eau vive, brillant comme du cristal, sortant du trône de Dieu et de l’Agneau.
2 In the midst of its street, and of the river, on this side and on that side, [the] tree of life, producing twelve fruits, in each month yielding its fruit; and the leaves of the tree for healing of the nations.
Au milieu de la place de la ville, sur les deux rivages du fleuve, était l’arbre de vie portant douze fruits, et, chaque mois donnant son fruit; et les feuilles de l’arbre sont pour la guérison des nations.
3 And no curse shall be any more; and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him,
Il n’y aura plus là aucune malédiction; mais le trône de Dieu et de l’Agneau y sera, et ses serviteurs le serviront.
4 and they shall see his face; and his name [is] on their foreheads.
Ils verront sa face et son nom sera sur leur front.
5 And night shall not be any more, and no need of a lamp, and light of [the] sun; for [the] Lord God shall shine upon them, and they shall reign to the ages of ages. (aiōn g165)
Il n’y aura plus là de nuit, et ils n’auront pas besoin de lampe, ni de la lumière du soleil, parce que le Seigneur les éclairera, et ils régneront dans les siècles des siècles. (aiōn g165)
6 And he said to me, These words [are] faithful and true; and [the] Lord God of the spirits of the prophets has sent his angel to shew to his bondmen the things which must soon come to pass.
Et il me dit: Ces paroles sont très dignes de foi et véritables. Et le Seigneur Dieu des esprits des prophètes a envoyé son ange pour montrer à ses serviteurs ce qui doit arriver bientôt.
7 And behold, I come quickly. Blessed [is] he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.
Et voilà que je viens promptement. Bienheureux celui qui garde les paroles de la prophétie de ce livre!
8 And I, John, [was] he who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to do homage before the feet of the angel who shewed me these things.
C’est moi, Jean, qui ai entendu et vu ces choses. Et après les avoir entendues et les avoir vues, je suis tombé aux pieds de l’ange qui me les montrait, pour l’adorer.
9 And he says to me, See [thou do it] not. I am thy fellow-bondman, and [the fellow-bondman] of thy brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Do homage to God.
Mais il me dit: Garde-toi de le faire; car je suis serviteur comme toi, comme tes frères les prophètes, et comme ceux qui gardent les paroles de ce livre: adore Dieu.
10 And he says to me, Seal not the words of the prophecy of this book. The time is near.
Il me dit encore: Ne scelle point les paroles de la prophétie de ce livre, car le temps est proche.
11 Let him that does unrighteously do unrighteously still; and let the filthy make himself filthy still; and let him that is righteous practise righteousness still; and he that is holy, let him be sanctified still.
Que celui qui fait l’injustice, la fasse encore; que celui qui est souillé, se souille encore; que celui qui est juste, devienne plus juste encore; que celui qui est saint, se sanctifie encore.
12 Behold, I come quickly, and my reward with me, to render to every one as his work shall be.
Voilà que je viens bientôt, et ma récompense est avec moi, pour rendre à chacun selon ses œuvres.
13 I [am] the Alpha and the Omega, [the] first and [the] last, the beginning and the end.
Je suis l’Alpha et l’Oméga, le premier et le dernier, le commencement et la fin.
14 Blessed [are] they that wash their robes, that they may have right to the tree of life, and that they should go in by the gates into the city.
Bienheureux ceux qui lavent leurs vêtements dans le sang de l’Agneau, afin qu’ils aient pouvoir sur l’arbre de vie, et que par les portes ils entrent dans la cité!
15 Without [are] the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and every one that loves and makes a lie.
Loin d’ici les chiens, les empoisonneurs, les impudiques, les homicides, les idolâtres, et quiconque aime et fait le mensonge.
16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify these things to you in the assemblies. I am the root and offspring of David, the bright [and] morning star.
Moi, Jésus, j’ai envoyé mon ange pour vous rendre témoignage de ces choses dans les Églises. Je sais la racine et la race de David, l’étoile brillante du matin.
17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that is athirst come; he that will, let him take [the] water of life freely.
L’Esprit et l’épouse disent: Viens. Que celui qui entend dise: Viens. Que celui qui a soif vienne; et que celui qui vient reçoive gratuitement l’eau de la vie.
18 I testify to every one who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, If any one shall add to these things, God shall add to him the plagues which are written in this book.
Car je proteste à tous ceux qui entendent les paroles de la prophétie de ce livre, que si quelqu’un y ajoute, Dieu accumulera sur lui les fléaux écrits dans ce livre;
19 And if any one take from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.
Et si quelqu’un retranche quelque parole du livre de cette prophétie, Dieu lui retranchera sa part du livre de vie, et de la cité sainte, et de ce qui est écrit dans ce livre.
20 He that testifies these things says, Yea, I come quickly. Amen; come, Lord Jesus.
Celui qui rend témoignage de ces choses dit: Oui, je viens bientôt. Amen. Venez, Seigneur Jésus.
21 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ [be] with all the saints.
Que la grâce de Notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ soit avec vous tous. Amen.
