Revelation 13
1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea; and I saw a beast rising out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and upon its horns ten diadems, and upon its heads names of blasphemy.
தத: பரமஹம்’ ஸாக³ரீயஸிகதாயாம்’ திஷ்ட²ந் ஸாக³ராத்³ உத்³க³ச்ச²ந்தம் ஏகம்’ பஸு²ம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்டவாந் தஸ்ய த³ஸ² ஸ்²ரு’ங்கா³ணி ஸப்த ஸி²ராம்’ஸி ச த³ஸ² ஸ்²ரு’ங்கே³ஷு த³ஸ² கிரீடாநி ஸி²ர: ஸு சேஸ்²வரநிந்தா³ஸூசகாநி நாமாநி வித்³யந்தே|
2 And the beast which I saw was like to a leopardess, and its feet as of a bear, and its mouth as a lion's mouth; and the dragon gave to it his power, and his throne, and great authority;
மயா த்³ரு’ஷ்ட: ஸ பஸு²ஸ்²சித்ரவ்யாக்⁴ரஸத்³ரு’ஸ²: கிந்து தஸ்ய சரணௌ ப⁴ல்லூகஸ்யேவ வத³நஞ்ச ஸிம்’ஹவத³நமிவ| நாக³நே தஸ்மை ஸ்வீயபராக்ரம: ஸ்வீயம்’ ஸிம்’ஹாஸநம்’ மஹாதி⁴பத்யஞ்சாதா³யி|
3 and one of his heads [was] as slain to death, and his wound of death had been healed: and the whole earth wondered after the beast.
மயி நிரீக்ஷமாணே தஸ்ய ஸி²ரஸாம் ஏகம் அந்தகாகா⁴தேந சே²தி³தமிவாத்³ரு’ஸ்²யத, கிந்து தஸ்யாந்தகக்ஷதஸ்ய ப்ரதீகாரோ (அ)க்ரியத தத: க்ரு’த்ஸ்நோ நரலோகஸ்தம்’ பஸு²மதி⁴ சமத்காரம்’ க³த: ,
4 And they did homage to the dragon, because he gave the authority to the beast; and they did homage to the beast, saying, Who [is] like to the beast? and who can make war with it?
யஸ்²ச நாக³ஸ்தஸ்மை பஸ²வே ஸாமர்த்²யம்’ த³த்தவாந் ஸர்வ்வே தம்’ ப்ராணமந் பஸு²மபி ப்ரணமந்தோ (அ)கத²யந், கோ வித்³யதே பஸோ²ஸ்துல்யஸ்தேந கோ யோத்³து⁴மர்ஹதி|
5 And there was given to it a mouth, speaking great things and blasphemies; and there was given to it authority to pursue its career forty-two months.
அநந்தரம்’ தஸ்மை த³ர்பவாக்யேஸ்²வரநிந்தா³வாதி³ வத³நம்’ த்³விசத்வாரிம்’ஸ²ந்மாஸாந் யாவத்³ அவஸ்தி²தே: ஸாமர்த்²யஞ்சாதா³யி|
6 And it opened its mouth for blasphemies against God, to blaspheme his name and his tabernacle, and those who have their tabernacle in the heaven.
தத: ஸ ஈஸ்²வரநிந்த³நார்த²ம்’ முக²ம்’ வ்யாதா³ய தஸ்ய நாம தஸ்யாவாஸம்’ ஸ்வர்க³நிவாஸிநஸ்²ச நிந்தி³தும் ஆரப⁴த|
7 And there was given to it to make war with the saints, and to overcome them; and there was given to it authority over every tribe, and people, and tongue, and nation;
அபரம்’ தா⁴ர்ம்மிகை: ஸஹ யோத⁴நஸ்ய தேஷாம்’ பராஜயஸ்ய சாநுமதி: ஸர்வ்வஜாதீயாநாம்’ ஸர்வ்வவம்’ஸீ²யாநாம்’ ஸர்வ்வபா⁴ஷாவாதி³நாம்’ ஸர்வ்வதே³ஸீ²யாநாஞ்சாதி⁴பத்யமபி தஸ்மா அதா³யி|
8 and all that dwell on the earth shall do it homage, [every one] whose name had not been written from [the] founding of [the] world in the book of life of the slain Lamb.
ததோ ஜக³த: ஸ்ரு’ஷ்டிகாலாத் சே²தி³தஸ்ய மேஷவத்ஸஸ்ய ஜீவநபுஸ்தகே யாவதாம்’ நாமாநி லிகி²தாநி ந வித்³யந்தே தே ப்ரு’தி²வீநிவாஸிந: ஸர்வ்வே தம்’ பஸு²ம்’ ப்ரணம்’ஸ்யந்தி|
9 If any one has an ear, let him hear.
யஸ்ய ஸ்²ரோத்ரம்’ வித்³யதே ஸ ஸ்²ரு’ணோது|
10 If any one [leads] into captivity, he goes into captivity. If any one shall kill with [the] sword, he must with [the] sword be killed. Here is the endurance and the faith of the saints.
யோ ஜநோ (அ)பராந் வந்தீ³க்ரு’த்ய நயதி ஸ ஸ்வயம்’ வந்தீ³பூ⁴ய ஸ்தா²நாந்தரம்’ க³மிஷ்யதி, யஸ்²ச க²ங்கே³ந ஹந்தி ஸ ஸ்வயம்’ க²ங்கே³ந கா⁴நிஷ்யதே| அத்ர பவித்ரலோகாநாம்’ ஸஹிஷ்ணுதயா விஸ்²வாஸேந ச ப்ரகாஸி²தவ்யம்’|
11 And I saw another beast rising out of the earth; and it had two horns like to a lamb, and spake as a dragon;
அநந்தரம்’ ப்ரு’தி²வீத உத்³க³ச்ச²ந் அபர ஏக: பஸு² ர்மயா த்³ரு’ஷ்ட: ஸ மேஷஸா²வகவத் ஸ்²ரு’ங்க³த்³வயவிஸி²ஷ்ட ஆஸீத் நாக³வச்சாபா⁴ஷத|
12 and it exercises all the authority of the first beast before it, and causes the earth and those that dwell in it to do homage to the first beast, whose wound of death was healed.
ஸ ப்ரத²மபஸோ²ரந்திகே தஸ்ய ஸர்வ்வம்’ பராக்ரமம்’ வ்யவஹரதி விஸே²ஷதோ யஸ்ய ப்ரத²மபஸோ²ரந்திகக்ஷதம்’ ப்ரதீகாரம்’ க³தம்’ தஸ்ய பூஜாம்’ ப்ரு’தி²வீம்’ தந்நிவாஸிநஸ்²ச காரயதி|
13 And it works great signs, that it should cause even fire to come down from heaven to the earth before men.
அபரம்’ மாநவாநாம்’ ஸாக்ஷாத்³ ஆகாஸ²தோ பு⁴வி வஹ்நிவர்ஷணாதீ³நி மஹாசித்ராணி கரோதி|
14 And it deceives those that dwell upon the earth by reason of the signs which it was given to it to work before the beast, saying to those that dwell upon the earth to make an image to the beast, which has the wound of the sword, and lived.
தஸ்ய பஸோ²: ஸாக்ஷாத்³ யேஷாம்’ சித்ரகர்ம்மணாம்’ ஸாத⁴நாய ஸாமர்த்²யம்’ தஸ்மை த³த்தம்’ தை: ஸ ப்ரு’தி²வீநிவாஸிநோ ப்⁴ராமயதி, விஸே²ஷதோ ய: பஸு²: க²ங்கே³ந க்ஷதயுக்தோ பூ⁴த்வாப்யஜீவத் தஸ்ய ப்ரதிமாநிர்ம்மாணம்’ ப்ரு’தி²வீநிவாஸிந ஆதி³ஸ²தி|
15 And it was given to it to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should also speak, and should cause that as many as should not do homage to the image of the beast should be killed.
அபரம்’ தஸ்ய பஸோ²: ப்ரதிமா யதா² பா⁴ஷதே யாவந்தஸ்²ச மாநவாஸ்தாம்’ பஸு²ப்ரதிமாம்’ ந பூஜயந்தி தே யதா² ஹந்யந்தே ததா² பஸு²ப்ரதிமாயா: ப்ராணப்ரதிஷ்டா²ர்த²ம்’ ஸாமர்த்²யம்’ தஸ்மா அதா³யி|
16 And it causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free and the bondmen, that they should give them a mark upon their right hand or upon their forehead;
அபரம்’ க்ஷுத்³ரமஹத்³த⁴நித³ரித்³ரமுக்ததா³ஸாந் ஸர்வ்வாந் த³க்ஷிணகரே பா⁴லே வா கலங்கம்’ க்³ராஹயதி|
17 and that no one should be able to buy or sell save he that had the mark, the name of the beast, or the number of its name.
தஸ்மாத்³ யே தம்’ கலங்கமர்த²த: பஸோ² ர்நாம தஸ்ய நாம்ந: ஸம்’க்²யாங்கம்’ வா தா⁴ரயந்தி தாந் விநா பரேண கேநாபி க்ரயவிக்ரயே கர்த்தும்’ ந ஸ²க்யேதே|
18 Here is wisdom. He that has understanding let him count the number of the beast: for it is a man's number; and its number [is] six hundred [and] sixty-six.
அத்ர ஜ்ஞாநேந ப்ரகாஸி²தவ்யம்’| யோ பு³த்³தி⁴விஸி²ஷ்ட: ஸ பஸோ²: ஸம்’க்²யாம்’ க³ணயது யத: ஸா மாநவஸ்ய ஸம்’க்²யா ப⁴வதி| ஸா ச ஸம்’க்²யா ஷட்ஷஷ்ட்யதி⁴கஷட்ஸ²தாநி|
