< Revelation 10 >
1 And I saw another strong angel coming down out of the heaven, clothed with a cloud, and the rainbow upon his head, and his countenance as the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire,
Mwen te wè yon lòt zanj byen fò ki t ap desann sòti nan syèl la, abiye avèk yon nwaj. Yon lakansyèl la te sou tèt li. Figi li te tankou solèy la, e pye li yo tankou kolòn dife.
2 and having in his hand a little opened book. And he set his right foot on the sea, and the left upon the earth,
Li te gen nan men l, yon ti liv ki te louvri. Li te plase pye dwat li sou lanmè a e pye goch li sou tè a.
3 and cried with a loud voice as a lion roars. And when he cried, the seven thunders uttered their own voices.
Konsa, li te kriye avèk yon gwo vwa, tankou lè yon lyon gwonde. Epi lè l fin kriye fò, sèt kout tonnè yo te reponn ak vwa yo.
4 And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write: and I heard a voice out of the heaven saying, Seal the things which the seven thunders have spoken, and write them not.
Lè sèt kout tonnè yo te fin sonnen, mwen te prè pou ekri. Men mwen te tande yon vwa soti nan syèl la ki t ap di: “Sele bagay ke sèt kout tonnè yo te pale a. Pa ekri yo.”
5 And the angel whom I saw stand on the sea and on the earth lifted up his right hand to the heaven,
Answit, zanj ke m te wè kanpe sou lanmè ak sou tè a, te leve men dwat li vè syèl la,
6 and swore by him that lives to the ages of ages, who created the heaven and the things that are in it, and the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there should be no longer delay; (aiōn )
7 but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound the trumpet, the mystery of God also shall be completed, as he has made known the glad tidings to his own bondmen the prophets.
men nan jou vwa setyèm zanj lan, lè li prè pou sone, alò, mistè a Bondye fini, jan Li te anonse a sèvitè Li yo, menm pwofèt yo.
8 And the voice which I heard out of the heaven [was] again speaking with me, and saying, Go, take the little book which is opened in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the earth.
Answit, vwa ke m te tande nan syèl la, mwen te tande li te pale avè m ankò, e t ap di: “Ale pran liv ki ouvri a nan men a zanj ki kanpe sou lanmè a ak sou tè a”.
9 And I went to the angel, saying to him to give me the little book. And he says to me, Take and eat it up: and it shall make thy belly bitter, but in thy mouth it shall be sweet as honey.
Donk, mwen te ale kote zanj lan, pou di l ban mwen ti liv la. Li te di mwen: “Pran l, e manje l. L ap fè vant ou anmè, men nan bouch ou, l ap dous tankou siwo myèl.”
10 And I took the little book out of the hand of the angel, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth as honey, sweet; and when I had eaten it my belly was made bitter.
Mwen te pran ti liv la nan men zanj lan, e mwen te manje l. Konsa, nan bouch mwen, li te dous tankou siwo myèl. Lè m te fin manje l, vant mwen te vin anmè.
11 And it was said to me, Thou must prophesy again as to peoples and nations and tongues and many kings.
Konsa, yo te di mwen: “Ou oblije pwofetize ankò konsènan anpil pèp, nasyon, lang, ak wa.”
