Psalms 99

1 Jehovah reigneth: let the peoples tremble. He sitteth [between the] cherubim: let the earth be moved.

El Señor es Rey; deja que los pueblos tengan miedo: su trono está entre los querubines; tiemblen las naciones y la tierra.

2 Jehovah is great in Zion, and he is high above all the peoples.

El Señor es grande en Sión; él es exaltado sobre todas las naciones.

3 They shall praise thy great and terrible name, — it is holy! —

Alaben tu nombre, porque es grande y temible; santo es él.

4 And the strength of the king that loveth justice. Thou hast established equity: it is thou that executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.

El poder del rey se usa para la justicia; tú das decisiones verdaderas, juzgando correctamente en la tierra de Jacob.

5 Exalt Jehovah our God, and worship at his footstool. He is holy!

Dale gran honor a Jehová nuestro Dios, adorándolo a sus pies; santo es él.

6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name: they called unto Jehovah, and he answered them.

Moisés y Aarón entre sus sacerdotes, y Samuel entre los que le dieron honor a su nombre; hicieron oraciones al Señor, y él les dio respuestas.

7 He spoke unto them in the pillar of cloud: they kept his testimonies, and the statute that he gave them.

Su voz llegó a ellos desde la columna de nube; ellos guardaron su testimonio y la ley que les dio.

8 Jehovah, our God, thou answeredst them: a forgiving God wast thou unto them, though thou tookest vengeance of their doings.

Tú les diste una respuesta, oh Señor nuestro Dios; les quitaste el pecado, aunque les diste un castigo por su maldad.

9 Exalt Jehovah our God, and worship at the hill of his holiness; for holy is Jehovah our God.

Dale gran honor al Señor nuestro Dios, adorando con tus rostros postrados en su santo monte; porque el Señor nuestro Dios es santo.
