Psalms 99

1 Jehovah reigneth: let the peoples tremble. He sitteth [between the] cherubim: let the earth be moved.

১সদাপ্রভুু রাজত্ব করেন, জাতিরা কাঁপছে; তিনি করূবদের ওপরে সিংহাসনে বসে আছেন, পৃথিবী টলছে।

2 Jehovah is great in Zion, and he is high above all the peoples.

২সদাপ্রভুু সিয়োনে মহান, তিনি সমস্ত জাতির উপরে উন্নত।

3 They shall praise thy great and terrible name, — it is holy! —

৩তারা তোমার মহান ও ভয়াবহ নামের প্রশংসা করুক; তিনি পবিত্র।

4 And the strength of the king that loveth justice. Thou hast established equity: it is thou that executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.

৪বলবান রাজা ন্যায় ভালবাসেন; তুমি সুবিচার প্রতিষ্ঠা করেছ, তুমি যাকোবের মধ্যে ন্যায় ও ধার্ম্মিকতা তৈরী করেছ।

5 Exalt Jehovah our God, and worship at his footstool. He is holy!

৫তোমরা আমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুুর প্রশংসা কর ও তার পাদপীঠের সামনে আরাধনা কর; তিনি পবিত্র।

6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name: they called unto Jehovah, and he answered them.

৬তার যাজকদের মধ্যে মোশি ও হারোণ এবং যারা তার নামে ডাকেন, তাদের মধ্যে শমূয়েল; তারা সদাপ্রভুুকে ডাকতেন এবং তিনি উত্তর দিতেন।

7 He spoke unto them in the pillar of cloud: they kept his testimonies, and the statute that he gave them.

৭তিনি মেঘের থামের থেকে তাদের কাছে কথা বলতেন; তারা তার গুরুত্বপূর্ণ আদেশ ও নিয়মগুলি পালন করতেন যা তিনি তাদের দিয়েছিলেন।

8 Jehovah, our God, thou answeredst them: a forgiving God wast thou unto them, though thou tookest vengeance of their doings.

৮হে সদাপ্রভুু, আমাদের ঈশ্বর তুমিই তাদেরকে উত্তর দিয়েছিলে, তুমি সেই ঈশ্বর যিনি তাদের ক্ষমা করেছিলে, যদিও তুমি তাদের পাপজনক কাজের শাস্তি দিয়েছিলে।

9 Exalt Jehovah our God, and worship at the hill of his holiness; for holy is Jehovah our God.

৯আমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুুর প্রশংসা কর এবং তার পবিত্র পর্বতের সামনে আরাধনা কর; কারণ আমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুু পবিত্র।
