Psalms 91
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
जो सर्वोच्चको छत्रछायामा बस्छ, त्यो सर्वशक्तिमान्को छायामा रहनेछ ।
2 I say of Jehovah, My refuge and my fortress; my God, I will confide in him.
म परमप्रभुको बारेमा भन्छु, “उहाँ मेरो शरणस्थान र मेरो किल्ला हुनुहुन्छ, मेरो परमेश्वर जसमा म भरोसा गर्छु ।”
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, [and] from the destructive pestilence.
किनकि उहाँ तिमीलाई शिकारीको पासो र घातक रूढीबाट बचाउनुहुनेछ ।
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou find refuge: his truth is a shield and buckler.
उहाँले तिमीलाई आफ्नो पखेटाहरूले ढाक्नुहुनेछ र उहाँको पखेटाहरूमुनि तिमीले शरण पाउनेछौ । उहाँको सत्यताचाहिं ढाल र सुरक्षा हो ।
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, for the arrow that flieth by day,
तिमी रातको त्रसदेखि वा दिनमा आउने काँडदेखि,
6 For the pestilence that walketh in darkness, for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
वा अँध्यारोमा चाहार्ने रूढी वा मध्यदिनमा आउने रोगदेखि भयभीत हुनेछैनौ ।
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; [but] it shall not come nigh thee.
हजार जना तिम्रो छेउमा र तिम्रो दाहिने हातपट्टि दश हजार जना ढल्लान्, तर त्यो तिमीकहाँ आउनेछैन ।
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold, and see the reward of the wicked.
तिमीले दुष्टको दण्ड नियाल्ने र देख्ने मात्र छौ ।
9 Because thou hast made Jehovah, my refuge, the Most High, thy dwelling-place,
किनकि पमरप्रभु मेरो शरणस्थान हुनुहुन्छ । सर्वोच्चलाई तिम्रो पनि शरणस्थान बनाऊ ।
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy tent.
कुनै खराबीले तिमीलाई जित्नेछैन । तिम्रो घर नजिक कुनै कष्ट आउनेछैन ।
11 For he shall give his angels charge concerning thee, to keep thee in all thy ways:
किनकि उहाँले तिमीलाई सुरक्षा दिन, तिम्रा सबै मार्गमा तिम्रो रेखदेख गर्न आफ्ना स्वर्गदूतहरूलाई निर्देशन दिनुहुनेछ ।
12 They shall bear thee up in [their] hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
तिनीहरूले तिमीलाई आफ्ना हातले थाम्नेछन्, ताकि तिमीले आफ्ना खुट्टालाई ढुङ्गामा ठोकाउनेछैनौ ।
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and the adder; the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under foot.
तिमीले आफ्नो खुट्टामुनि सिंहहरू र गोमनहरूलाई कुल्चनेछौ । तिमीले जवान सिंहहरू र सर्पहरू कुल्चनेछौ ।
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
त्यो मप्रति समर्पित भएको हुनाले म त्यसलाई बचाउनेछु । म त्यसलाई सुरक्षा दिनेछु किनभने त्यो मप्रति बफदार छ ।
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honour him.
जब त्यसले मलाई पुकारा गर्छ, तब म त्यसलाई जवाफ दिनेछु । म कष्टमा त्योसँग हुनेछु । म त्यसलाई विजय दिनेछु र त्यसको आदर गर्नेछु ।
16 With length of days will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
म त्यसलाई लामो जीवनले सन्तुष्ट पार्नेछु र त्यसलाई मेरो उद्धार देखाउनेछु ।
