Psalms 91
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
১যে মহান ঈশ্বরের অন্তরালে থাকে, সে সর্বশক্তিমানের ছায়াতে বসতি করে।
2 I say of Jehovah, My refuge and my fortress; my God, I will confide in him.
২আমি সদাপ্রভুুর বিষয়ে বলব, “তিনি আমার আশ্রয় এবং আমার দূর্গ, আমার ঈশ্বর, আমি তাতে নির্ভর করব।”
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, [and] from the destructive pestilence.
৩হ্যাঁ, তিনি তোমাকে শিকারীর ফাঁদ থেকে ও সর্বনাশক রোগ থেকে রক্ষা করবেন।
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou find refuge: his truth is a shield and buckler.
৪তিনি তাঁর ডানায় তোমাকে ঢেকে রাখবেন, তার ডানার নীচে তুমি আশ্রয় পাবে; তাঁর বিশ্বস্ততা একটি ঢাল এবং সুরক্ষা।
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, for the arrow that flieth by day,
৫তুমি ভয় পাবে না রাতের আতঙ্কের থেকে অথবা দিনের রবেলায় উড়ে আসা তীরের থেকে,
6 For the pestilence that walketh in darkness, for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
৬সংক্রামক মহামারীর থেকে যা অন্ধকারের মধ্যে ঘুরে বেড়ায় অথবা রোগের থেকে যা দুপুরবেলায় আসে।
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; [but] it shall not come nigh thee.
৭তোমার পাশে পড়বে হাজার জন এবং তোমার ডান হাতে দশ হাজার জন পড়বে, কিন্তু ওটা তোমার কাছে আসবে না।
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold, and see the reward of the wicked.
৮তুমি শুধু পর্যবেক্ষণ করবে এবং দুষ্টদের শাস্তি দেখবে।
9 Because thou hast made Jehovah, my refuge, the Most High, thy dwelling-place,
৯“কারণ সদাপ্রভুু আমার আশ্রয়! তুমি মহান সর্বশক্তিমান ঈশ্বরকে তোমার আশ্রয়স্থল করেছ,”
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy tent.
১০কোনো খারাপ তোমাকে অতিক্রম করতে পারেনা, কোনো দুঃখ তোমার ঘরের কাছে আসবে না।
11 For he shall give his angels charge concerning thee, to keep thee in all thy ways:
১১কারণ তিনি তোমার সমস্ত পথে তোমাকে রক্ষা করার জন্য, তোমাকে সুরক্ষিত করার জন্য তার স্বর্গদূতদের নির্দেশ দেবেন।
12 They shall bear thee up in [their] hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
১২তারা তোমাকে হাতে করে তুলে নেবেন, যেন তুমি সরে না যাও এবং পাথরের ওপরে না পড়।
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and the adder; the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under foot.
১৩তুমি সাপ ও সিংহকে ওপরে পা দেবে, তুমি যুবসিংহ ও নাগকে মাড়াবে।
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
১৪“সে আমার প্রতি অনুরাগী, তার জন্য আমি তাকে উদ্ধার করব; আমি তাকে রক্ষা করব, কারণ সে আমার প্রতি অনুগত।”
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honour him.
১৫সে আমাকে ডাকবে, আমি তাকে উত্তর দেব; আমি বিপদে তার সঙ্গে থাকব; আমি তাকে বিজয় দেব ও সম্মানিত করব।
16 With length of days will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
১৬আমি দীর্ঘ আয়ু দিয়ে তাকে তৃপ্ত করব, আমার পরিত্রান তাকে দেখাব।
