Psalms 89
1 An instruction. Of Ethan the Ezrahite. I will sing of the loving-kindness of Jehovah for ever; with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness from generation to generation.
੧ਏਥਾਨ ਅਜ਼ਰਾ ਵੰਸ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਮਸ਼ਕੀਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਮੈਂ ਸਦਾ ਗਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰੀ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੂੰਹੋਂ ਸਮਝਾਵਾਂਗਾ।
2 For I said, Loving-kindness shall be built up for ever; in the very heavens wilt thou establish thy faithfulness.
੨ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਆਖਿਆ, ਤੇਰੀ ਦਯਾ ਸਦਾ ਤੋੜੀ ਬਣੀ ਰਹੇਗੀ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਇਮ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ।
3 I have made a covenant with mine elect, I have sworn unto David my servant:
੩ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨੇਮ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸ ਦਾਊਦ ਨਾਲ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਧੀ,
4 Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne from generation to generation. (Selah)
੪ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਅੰਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਤੱਕ ਕਾਇਮ ਰੱਖਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਰਾਜ ਗੱਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀਓਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਬਣਾਈ ਰੱਖਾਂਗਾ। ਸਲਹ।
5 And the heavens shall celebrate thy wonders, O Jehovah, and thy faithfulness in the congregation of the saints.
੫ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਤੇਰੇ ਅਚਰਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਲਾਹੁਣਗੇ, ਨਾਲੇ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਰੀ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ!
6 For who in the heaven can be compared to Jehovah? [who] among the sons of the mighty shall be likened to Jehovah?
੬ਗਗਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਤੁੱਲ ਕੌਣ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ? ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੌਣ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ?
7 God is greatly to be feared in the council of the saints, and terrible for all that are round about him.
੭ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਘੋਸ਼ਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਤ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਭੈਅ ਦਾਇਕ ਹੈ!
8 Jehovah, God of hosts, who is like unto thee, the strong Jah? And thy faithfulness is round about thee.
੮ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੇਰੇ ਤੁੱਲ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ? ਤੇਰੀ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਹੈ,
9 Thou rulest the pride of the sea: when its waves arise, thou stillest them.
੯ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਉਛਾਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਜਾਂ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਠਾਠਾਂ ਉੱਠ ਪੈਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਥੰਮ੍ਹ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
10 Thou hast crushed Rahab as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with the arm of thy strength.
੧੦ਤੂੰ ਰਹਬ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੱਢੇ ਹੋਏ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਚੂਰ-ਚੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਬਾਂਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਲ ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛਿੰਨ ਭਿੰਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ!
11 Thine are the heavens, the earth also is thine; the world and its fulness, thou hast founded them.
੧੧ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਤੇਰੇ ਹਨ, ਧਰਤੀ ਵੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਹੈ, ਜਗਤ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਭਰਪੂਰੀ ਦੀ ਨੀਂਹ ਤੂੰ ਰੱਖੀ।
12 The north and the south, thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon triumph in thy name.
੧੨ਉੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਦੱਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਉਤਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ, ਤਾਬੋਰ ਤੇ ਹਰਮੋਨ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਜੈਕਾਰਾ ਗਜਾਉਣਗੇ।
13 Thine is the arm of might: strong is thy hand, high is thy right hand.
੧੩ਤੇਰੀ ਬਾਂਹ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਹੈ, ਤੇਰਾ ਹੱਥ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ, ਤੇਰਾ ਸੱਜਾ ਹੱਥ ਉੱਚਾ ਹੈ!
14 Righteousness and judgment are the foundation of thy throne; loving-kindness and truth go before thy face.
੧੪ਧਰਮ ਤੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਰਾਜ ਗੱਦੀ ਦੇ ਨੀਂਹ ਹਨ, ਦਯਾ ਤੇ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ-ਅੱਗੇ ਚੱਲਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
15 Blessed is the people that know the shout of joy: they walk, O Jehovah, in the light of thy countenance.
੧੫ਧੰਨ ਓਹ ਲੋਕ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਅਨੰਦ ਦੀ ਲਲਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ, ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਓਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਦੇ ਚਾਨਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਰਦੇ ਹਨ!
16 In thy name are they joyful all the day, and in thy righteousness are they exalted.
੧੬ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਓਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਮਨਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਓਹ ਉੱਚੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
17 For thou art the glory of their strength; and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.
੧੭ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਲ ਦਾ ਜਲਾਲ ਹੈਂ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਡਾ ਸਿੰਗ ਉੱਚਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
18 For Jehovah is our shield, and the Holy One of Israel, our king.
੧੮ਸਾਡੀ ਢਾਲ਼ ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰਖ ਦਾ ਹੈ।
19 Then thou spakest in vision of thy Holy One, and saidst, I have laid help upon a mighty one; I have exalted one chosen out of the people.
੧੯ਤਦ ਮੈਂ ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬਚਨ ਕੀਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਰਮਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਇੱਕ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਪਰਜਾ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਚੁਣ ਕੇ ਇੱਕ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਿਆਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
20 I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:
੨੦ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭ ਕੇ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਤੇਲ ਨਾਲ ਮਸਹ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ,
21 With whom my hand shall be established; and mine arm shall strengthen him.
੨੧ਜਿਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰਾ ਹੱਥ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ੍ਹ ਰਹੇਗਾ, ਨਾਲੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਬਾਂਹ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਤਕੜਾਈ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ।
22 No enemy shall exact upon him, nor the son of wickedness afflict him;
੨੨ਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਵੈਰੀ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਚੱਟੀ ਲਵੇਗਾ, ਨਾ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਔਖਿਆਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
23 But I will beat down his adversaries before his face, and will smite them that hate him.
੨੩ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੋਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੁੱਟਾਂਗਾ।
24 And my faithfulness and my loving-kindness shall be with him, and by my name shall his horn be exalted.
੨੪ਪਰ ਮੇਰੀ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਦਯਾ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਹੇਗੀ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਸਿੰਗ ਉੱਚਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ,
25 And I will set his hand in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.
੨੫ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਹੱਥ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਉੱਤੇ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਸੱਜਾ ਹੱਥ ਨਦੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੱਖਾਂਗਾ।
26 He shall call unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation;
੨੬ਇਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਕੇ ਆਖੇਗਾ, ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਤਾ, ਮੇਰਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਹੈਂ!
27 And as to me, I will make him firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth.
੨੭ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਹਿਲੌਠਾ, ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਿਆਂ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅੱਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗਾ।
28 My loving-kindness will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him;
੨੮ਮੈਂ ਸਦਾ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਦਯਾ ਬਣਾਈ ਰੱਖਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਨੇਮ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਪੱਕਾ ਰਹੇਗਾ,
29 And I will establish his seed for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.
੨੯ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਤੱਕ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਰਾਜ ਗੱਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਸਾਂਭਾਂਗਾ।
30 If his sons forsake my law, and walk not in mine ordinances;
੩੦ਜੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਦੇਣ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਿਆਂਵਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਾ ਚੱਲਣ,
31 If they profane my statutes, and keep not my commandments:
੩੧ਜੇ ਓਹ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਬਿਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਗਾੜ ਦੇਣ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ,
32 Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.
੩੨ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਡੰਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਪਰਾਧਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਰੜਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਦੀ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।
33 Nevertheless my loving-kindness will I not utterly take from him, nor belie my faithfulness;
੩੩ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਦਯਾ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਹਟਾ ਨਾ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ, ਨਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰੀ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਝੂਠਾ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ।
34 My covenant will I not profane, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
੩੪ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਨੇਮ ਨੂੰ ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਨਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੁੱਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਿੱਕਲਿਆ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਬਦਲਾਂਗਾ।
35 Once have I sworn by my holiness; I will not lie unto David:
੩੫ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰਤਾਈ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹਾਂ, ਫੇਰ ਦਾਊਦ ਨਾਲ ਝੂਠ ਨਾ ਬੋਲਾਂਗਾ।
36 His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me;
੩੬ਉਹ ਦਾ ਵੰਸ਼ ਅੰਤ ਤੱਕ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਰਾਜ ਗੱਦੀ ਸੂਰਜ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਬਣੀ ਰਹੇਗੀ।
37 It shall be established for ever as the moon, and the witness in the sky is firm. (Selah)
੩੭ਉਹ ਚੰਦਰਮਾਂ ਜਿਹੀ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹੇਗੀ, ਅਤੇ ਗਗਣ ਦੀ ਸੱਚੀ ਸਾਖੀ ਜਿਹੀ। ਸਲਹ।
38 But thou hast rejected and cast off; thou hast been very wroth with thine anointed:
੩੮ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਤਿਆਗ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਰੱਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਸਹ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਉੱਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹੈਂ,
39 Thou hast made void the covenant of thy servant; thou hast profaned his crown to the ground:
੩੯ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸ ਦੇ ਨੇਮ ਨੂੰ ਘਿਣਾਉਣਾ ਸਮਝਿਆ, ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਮੁਕਟ ਨੂੰ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ,
40 Thou hast broken down all his hedges; thou hast brought his strongholds to ruin.
੪੦ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਾੜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਕਿਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਥੇਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ!
41 All that pass by the way plunder him; he is become a reproach to his neighbours.
੪੧ਉਸ ਰਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੰਘਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਲੁੱਟਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
42 Thou hast exalted the right hand of his oppressors; thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice:
੪੨ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਹੱਥ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਿਆਂ ਕੀਤਾ, ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਨੰਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ!
43 Yea, thou hast turned back the edge of his sword, and hast not made him stand in the battle.
੪੩ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਧਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਲੜਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਖਲੋਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
44 Thou hast made his brightness to cease, and cast his throne down to the ground;
੪੪ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਤੇਜ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਰਾਜ ਗੱਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਟਕਾ ਮਾਰਿਆ।
45 The days of his youth hast thou shortened; thou hast covered him with shame. (Selah)
੪੫ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਜਵਾਨੀ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਘਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਪੇਟਿਆ ਹੈ! ਸਲਹ।
46 How long, Jehovah, wilt thou hide thyself for ever? shall thy fury burn like fire?
੪੬ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਕਦ ਤੱਕ? ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਤੱਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਲੁਕਾਈ ਰੱਖੇਂਗਾ? ਕਦ ਤੱਕ ਤੇਰਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਅੱਗ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਭੱਖਦਾ ਰਹੇਗਾ?
47 Remember, as regards me, what life is. Wherefore hast thou created all the children of men to be vanity?
੪੭ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰ ਕਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਵੇਲਾ ਕਿੰਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਘੱਟ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਕਿਹੜੇ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਲਈ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਦਮ ਵੰਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ!
48 What man liveth, and shall not see death? Shall he deliver his soul from the power of Sheol? (Selah) (Sheol h7585)
੪੮ਕਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਰਹੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੌਤ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਵੇਖੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾਲ ਦੇ ਵੱਸ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਡਾਵੇਗਾ? ਸਲਹ। (Sheol h7585)
49 Where, Lord, are thy former loving-kindnesses, [which] thou swarest unto David in thy faithfulness?
੪੯ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਓਹ ਪਹਿਲੀਆਂ ਦਿਆਲ਼ਗੀਆਂ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਖੇ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਊਦ ਨਾਲ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਧੀ ਸੀ?
50 Remember, Lord, the reproach of thy servants — that I bear in my bosom [that of] all the mighty peoples —
੫੦ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਲਾਹਮਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਚੇਤਾ ਕਰ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਛਾਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਲਾਹਮੇ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਬੈਠਾ ਹਾਂ,
51 Wherewith thine enemies, O Jehovah, have reproached, wherewith they have reproached the footsteps of thine anointed.
੫੧ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ, ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਤੇਰੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਤਾਨੇ ਮਾਰੇ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਮਸਹ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਦੇ ਖੁਰਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਤਾਨੇ ਮਾਰੇ।
52 Blessed be Jehovah for evermore! Amen, and Amen.
