Psalms 88
1 A Song, a Psalm for the sons of Korah. To the chief Musician. Upon Mahalath Leannoth. An instruction. Of Heman the Ezrahite. Jehovah, God of my salvation, I have cried by day [and] in the night before thee.
੧ਗੀਤ; ਕੋਰਹ ਵੰਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ। ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਮਹਲਤਲਗੋਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਜ਼ਰਾ ਵੰਸ਼ੀ ਹੇਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਮਸ਼ਕੀਲ ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੇ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਮੈਂ ਦਿਨ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
2 Let my prayer come before thee; incline thine ear unto my cry.
੨ਮੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਹਜ਼ੂਰ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ, ਮੇਰੀ ਹਾਹਾਕਾਰ ਵੱਲ ਕੰਨ ਝੁਕਾ!
੩ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਤਾਂ ਬੁਰਿਆਈਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਪਤਾਲ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਢੁੱਕਦਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। (Sheol h7585)
4 I am reckoned with them that go down into the pit; I am as a man that hath no strength:
੪ਮੈਂ ਕਬਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਗਿਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ, ਮੈਂ ਨਿਰਬਲ ਆਦਮੀ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ।
5 Prostrate among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave; whom thou rememberest no more, and who are cut off from thy hand.
੫ਮੈਂ ਮੁਰਦਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਢਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕਬਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੇਟੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਫੇਰ ਚੇਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ, ਅਤੇ ਓਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਵਿੱਛੜ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
6 Thou hast laid me in the lowest pit, in dark places, in the deeps.
੬ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਅੱਤ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਕਬਰ, ਅਤੇ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਗਹਿਰਿਆਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ।
7 Thy fury lieth hard upon me, and thou hast afflicted [me] with all thy waves. (Selah)
੭ਤੇਰਾ ਕਹਿਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਡਾਢਾ ਭਾਰੀ ਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੌਜਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਸਲਹ।
8 Thou hast put my familiar friends far from me; thou hast made me an abomination unto them: I am shut up, and I cannot come forth.
੮ਮੇਰੇ ਜਾਣ ਪਛਾਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਘਿਣਾਉਣਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਬੰਦ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਿੱਕਲਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦਾ!
9 Mine eye consumeth by reason of affliction. Upon thee, Jehovah, have I called every day; I have stretched out my hands unto thee.
੯ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਦੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਅੰਬ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ, ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਨਿੱਤ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਤੇਰੀ ਵੱਲ ਅੱਡੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
10 Wilt thou do wonders to the dead? shall the shades arise and praise thee? (Selah)
੧੦ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਮੁਰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਚਰਜ਼ ਵਿਖਾਵੇਂਗਾ? ਕੀ ਰੂਹਾਂ ਉੱਠ ਕੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਲਾਹੁਣਗੀਆਂ?। ਸਲਹ।
11 Shall thy loving-kindness be declared in the grave? thy faithfulness in Destruction?
੧੧ਕੀ ਕਬਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਰੀ ਦਯਾ, ਅਤੇ ਨਰਕ ਕੁੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਚਿਆਈ ਦਾ ਵਰਣਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ? (questioned)
12 Shall thy wonders be known in the dark? and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
੧੨ਕੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਅਚਰਜ਼ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਧਰਮ ਭੁੱਲਣਹਾਰੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ?
13 But as for me, Jehovah, I cry unto thee, and in the morning my prayer cometh before thee.
੧੩ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਵੇਲੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਹਜ਼ੂਰ ਆਵੇਗੀ?
14 Why, O Jehovah, castest thou off my soul? [why] hidest thou thy face from me?
੧੪ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗਦਾ ਹੈਂ? ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਲੁਕਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ?
15 I am afflicted and expiring from my youth up; I suffer thy terrors, [and] I am distracted.
੧੫ਮੈਂ ਜਵਾਨੀ ਤੋਂ ਦੁਖੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਮਰਨਾਊ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਡਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਹਿ ਕੇ ਘਬਰਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
16 Thy fierce anger hath gone over me; thy terrors have brought me to nought:
੧੬ਤੇਰਾ ਤੇਜ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਦੀ ਲੰਘਿਆ, ਤੇਰੇ ਹੌਲ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
17 They have surrounded me all the day like water; they have compassed me about together.
੧੭ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਾਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਘੇਰ ਛੱਡਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਕਾ ਹੀ ਡੱਕ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ।
18 Lover and associate hast thou put far from me: my familiar friends are darkness.
੧੮ਤੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਜਾਣ-ਪਛਾਣ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰ ਵਿੱਚ!।
