Psalms 88
1 A Song, a Psalm for the sons of Korah. To the chief Musician. Upon Mahalath Leannoth. An instruction. Of Heman the Ezrahite. Jehovah, God of my salvation, I have cried by day [and] in the night before thee.
೧ಹಾಡು; ಕೋರಹೀಯರ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ; ಪ್ರಧಾನಗಾಯಕನ ಕೀರ್ತನ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದು; ಮಹಲಾತ್ ಎಂಬ ರಾಗದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಹಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು; ಜೇರಹ ಕುಲದವನಾದ ಹೇಮಾನನ ಪದ್ಯ. ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ದೇವರೇ, ಹಗಲಿರುಳು ನಿನಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.
2 Let my prayer come before thee; incline thine ear unto my cry.
೨ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯು ನಿನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಲಿ; ಕಿವಿಗೊಟ್ಟು ನನ್ನ ಕೂಗನ್ನು ಕೇಳು.
೩ನನ್ನ ಜೀವವು ಕಷ್ಟಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿಹೋಯಿತು; ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಪಾತಾಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹತ್ತಿರವಾಯಿತು. (Sheol h7585)
4 I am reckoned with them that go down into the pit; I am as a man that hath no strength:
೪ಸಮಾಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರುವವರೊಳಗೆ ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನಿತ್ರಾಣ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಂತಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
5 Prostrate among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave; whom thou rememberest no more, and who are cut off from thy hand.
೫ಸತ್ತವನ ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಹತನಾದವನಂತೆ ಸಮಾಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಹತರಾದವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಪರಿಪಾಲನೆ ಇಲ್ಲದವರು; ಅಂಥವರನ್ನು ನೀನು ನೆನಪು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
6 Thou hast laid me in the lowest pit, in dark places, in the deeps.
೬ಅಧೋಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಗಾಢಾಂಧಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಅಗಾಧ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಿ.
7 Thy fury lieth hard upon me, and thou hast afflicted [me] with all thy waves. (Selah)
೭ನಿನ್ನ ಕೋಪಭಾರವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕುಗ್ಗಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ತೆರೆಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಾಧಿಸಿದ್ದಿ. (ಸೆಲಾ)
8 Thou hast put my familiar friends far from me; thou hast made me an abomination unto them: I am shut up, and I cannot come forth.
೮ನನ್ನ ಆಪ್ತರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಅಸಹ್ಯಪಟ್ಟರು, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅವರು ಹೇಸಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀ; ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಬಿಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾರೆನು.
9 Mine eye consumeth by reason of affliction. Upon thee, Jehovah, have I called every day; I have stretched out my hands unto thee.
೯ಬಾಧೆಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಮೊಬ್ಬಾಗಿ ಹೋಗಿವೆ. ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಹಗಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೈಚಾಚಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.
10 Wilt thou do wonders to the dead? shall the shades arise and praise thee? (Selah)
೧೦ನೀನು ಸತ್ತವರಿಗೆ ಅದ್ಭುತಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುವಿಯೋ? ಪ್ರೇತಗಳು ಎದ್ದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವವೋ? (ಸೆಲಾ)
11 Shall thy loving-kindness be declared in the grave? thy faithfulness in Destruction?
೧೧ಸಮಾಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೃಪೆಯನ್ನೂ, ನಾಶನಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಸತ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾರುವುದುಂಟೋ?
12 Shall thy wonders be known in the dark? and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
೧೨ಕತ್ತಲೆಯ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳೂ, ಮರೆಯುವ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯು ತಿಳಿಯಲ್ಪಡುವವೋ?
13 But as for me, Jehovah, I cry unto thee, and in the morning my prayer cometh before thee.
೧೩ನಾನಾದರೋ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಮುಂಜಾನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಯು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಬರುವುದು.
14 Why, O Jehovah, castest thou off my soul? [why] hidest thou thy face from me?
೧೪ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನೇಕೆ ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿ? ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇಕೆ?
15 I am afflicted and expiring from my youth up; I suffer thy terrors, [and] I am distracted.
೧೫ಯೌವನಾರಭ್ಯ ಕುಗ್ಗಿದವನೂ, ಮೃತಪ್ರಾಯನೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ಗದರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ದೆಸೆಗೆಟ್ಟವನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನಲ್ಲಾ.
16 Thy fierce anger hath gone over me; thy terrors have brought me to nought:
೧೬ನಿನ್ನ ಕೋಪಜ್ವಾಲೆಯು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕವಿದಿದೆ; ನಿನ್ನಿಂದುಂಟಾದ ದಿಗಿಲಿನಿಂದ ಹಾಳಾದೆನು.
17 They have surrounded me all the day like water; they have compassed me about together.
೧೭ಅವು ದಿನವೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೀರಿನಂತೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿವೆ; ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿವೆ.
18 Lover and associate hast thou put far from me: my familiar friends are darkness.
೧೮ನನ್ನ ಆಪ್ತಮಿತ್ರರನ್ನು ದೂರಮಾಡಿದಿ; ಅಂಧಕಾರವೇ ನನ್ನ ಒಡನಾಡಿ.
