Psalms 87

1 Of the sons of Korah. A Psalm. A Song. His foundation is in the mountains of holiness.

Su cimiento está en las santas montañas.

2 Jehovah loveth the gates of Zion more than all the habitations of Jacob.

Ama Yavé las puertas de Sion Más que todas las tiendas de Jacob.

3 Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. (Selah)

Cosas gloriosas se dicen de ti, ¡Oh ciudad de ʼElohim! (Selah)

4 I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon among them that know me; behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia: this [man] was born there.

Mencionaré a Rahab y a Babilonia entre los que me conocen. Ahí están Filistea, Tiro y Etiopía: Éste nació allá.

5 And of Zion it shall be said, This one and that one was born in her; and the Most High himself shall establish her.

De Sion se dirá: Éste y aquél nacieron en ella, Y el mismo ʼElyón la establecerá.

6 Jehovah will count, when he inscribeth the peoples, This [man] was born there. (Selah)

Yavé contará al registrar a los pueblos: Éste nació allí. (Selah)

7 As well the singers as the dancers [shall say], All my springs are in thee.

Entonces tanto los que cantan Como los que tocan flautas dirán: ¡Todas mis fuentes están en ti!
