Psalms 85
1 To the chief Musician. Of the sons of Korah. A Psalm. Thou hast been favourable, Jehovah, unto thy land; thou hast turned the captivity of Jacob:
Smilovao si se, Gospode, na zemlju svoju, povratio si roblje Jakovljevo.
2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people; thou hast covered all their sin. (Selah)
Prostio si nepravdu narodu svojemu, pokrio si sve grijehe njegove.
3 Thou hast withdrawn all thy wrath; thou hast turned from the fierceness of thine anger.
Ustavio si svu jarost svoju, ublažio žestinu gnjeva svojega.
4 Bring us back, O God of our salvation, and cause thine indignation toward us to cease.
Povrati nas, Bože spasitelju naš, prekini srdnju svoju na nas.
5 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger from generation to generation?
Zar æeš se dovijeka gnjeviti na nas, i protegnuti gnjev svoj od koljena na koljeno?
6 Wilt thou not revive us again, that thy people may rejoice in thee?
Zar se neæeš povratiti i oživiti nas, da bi se narod tvoj radovao o tebi?
7 Shew us thy loving-kindness, O Jehovah, and grant us thy salvation.
Pokaži nam, Gospode, milost svoju, i pomoæ svoju daj nam.
8 I will hear what God, Jehovah, will speak; for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his godly ones: but let them not turn again to folly.
Da poslušam što govori Gospod Bog. On izrièe mir narodu svojemu i svecima svojim, i onima koji se obraæaju srcem k njemu.
9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.
Da, blizu je onijeh koji ga se boje pomoæ njegova, da bi naselio slavu u zemlji našoj!
10 Loving-kindness and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other:
Milost i istina srešæe se, pravda i mir poljubiæe se.
11 Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from the heavens.
Istina æe niknuti iz zemlje i pravda æe s neba priniknuti.
12 Jehovah also will give what is good, and our land shall yield its increase.
I Gospod æe dati dobro, i zemlja naša daæe plod svoj.
13 Righteousness shall go before him, and shall set his footsteps on the way.
Pravda æe pred njim iæi, i postaviæe na put stope svoje.
