Psalms 85
1 To the chief Musician. Of the sons of Korah. A Psalm. Thou hast been favourable, Jehovah, unto thy land; thou hast turned the captivity of Jacob:
੧ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ: ਕੋਰਹ ਵੰਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ। ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੀ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਮੁਕਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people; thou hast covered all their sin. (Selah)
੨ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਦੀ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਤੂੰ ਮਾਫ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਸਲਹ।
3 Thou hast withdrawn all thy wrath; thou hast turned from the fierceness of thine anger.
੩ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੋਪ ਨੂੰ ਹਟਾ ਲਿਆ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਦੀ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਤੋਂ ਮੁੜਿਆ ਹੈਂ।
4 Bring us back, O God of our salvation, and cause thine indignation toward us to cease.
੪ਹੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਸਾਡੀ ਵੱਲ ਮੂੰਹ ਮੋੜ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਰੋਹ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਥੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ!
5 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger from generation to generation?
੫ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਤੋੜੀ ਸਾਥੋਂ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਰਹੇਂਗਾ? ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀਓਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖੇਂਗਾ?
6 Wilt thou not revive us again, that thy people may rejoice in thee?
੬ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਫੇਰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਜਵਾਲੇਂਗਾ, ਕਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਨੰਦ ਹੋਵੇ?
7 Shew us thy loving-kindness, O Jehovah, and grant us thy salvation.
੭ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੀ ਦਯਾ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਵਿਖਾ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਖਸ਼!।
8 I will hear what God, Jehovah, will speak; for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his godly ones: but let them not turn again to folly.
੮ਮੈਂ ਸੁਣ ਲਵਾਂ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕੀ ਆਖੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਕਿ ਓਹ ਫੇਰ ਮੂਰਖਤਾਈ ਵੱਲ ਨਾ ਮੁੜਨ।
9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.
੯ਨਿਸੰਗ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਛੁਟਕਾਰਾ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਭੈਅ ਮੰਨਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਵੱਸੇ!
10 Loving-kindness and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other:
੧੦ਦਯਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਚਿਆਈ ਆਪੋ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਲ ਗਈਆਂ, ਧਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਏ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੰਮਿਆ ਹੈ।
11 Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from the heavens.
੧੧ਸਚਿਆਈ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਉੱਗਦੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਸਵਰਗ ਤੋਂ ਧਰਮ ਝਾਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
12 Jehovah also will give what is good, and our land shall yield its increase.
੧੨ਫੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉੱਤਮ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਉਪਜ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ।
13 Righteousness shall go before him, and shall set his footsteps on the way.
੧੩ਧਰਮ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ-ਅੱਗੇ ਚੱਲੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਖੁਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਰਸਤਾ ਬਣਾਵੇਗਾ।
