Psalms 85

1 To the chief Musician. Of the sons of Korah. A Psalm. Thou hast been favourable, Jehovah, unto thy land; thou hast turned the captivity of Jacob:

Kuom jatend wer. Zaburi mar yawuot Kora. Ne itimo maber ne piny, yaye Jehova Nyasaye; ne iduogone Jakobo mwandune.

2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people; thou hast covered all their sin. (Selah)

Ne iweyone jogi kethogi kendo ne iumo richogi duto. (Sela)

3 Thou hast withdrawn all thy wrath; thou hast turned from the fierceness of thine anger.

Mirimbi duto ne iketo tenge, kendo ne ilokori iweyo mirimbi mager.

4 Bring us back, O God of our salvation, and cause thine indignation toward us to cease.

Dwogwa iri kendo, yaye Nyasaye Jawarwa, kendo gol kecho mikechogo kodwa iter mabor.

5 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger from generation to generation?

Ibiro kecho kodwa nyaka chiengʼ koso? Koso ibiro choro mirimbi e tienge duto?

6 Wilt thou not revive us again, that thy people may rejoice in thee?

Angʼo mamoni duogowa iri kendo, mondo eka jogi obed mamor kuomi?

7 Shew us thy loving-kindness, O Jehovah, and grant us thy salvation.

Nyiswa herani ma ok rem, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, kendo mi wayud resruok mari.

8 I will hear what God, Jehovah, will speak; for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his godly ones: but let them not turn again to folly.

Abiro chiko ita ne gima Nyasaye, ma Jehova Nyasaye biro wacho; osingo kwe ne joge ma joratiro, to nyaka gine ni ok gidok e timbe mofuwo.

9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.

Adier, resruokne ni machiegni gi joma omiye luor, kendo duongʼne biro bet e pinywa.

10 Loving-kindness and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other:

(Hera) gi adiera biro riwore kanyakla, kendo tim makare gi kwe biro nyodhore.

11 Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from the heavens.

12 Jehovah also will give what is good, and our land shall yield its increase.

Jehova Nyasaye biro miyowa gima ber adier kendo pinywa biro chiego chambe.

13 Righteousness shall go before him, and shall set his footsteps on the way.
