Psalms 79
1 A Psalm of Asaph. O God, the nations are come into thine inheritance: thy holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem in heaps.
১হে ঈশ্বৰ, আন জাতিবোৰে আহি তোমাৰ আধিপত্যত সোমাল; তেওঁলোকে তোমাৰ পবিত্ৰ মন্দিৰ অশুচি কৰিলে; তেওঁলোকে যিৰূচালেমক ধ্বংসৰ স্তূপ কৰিলে।
2 The dead bodies of thy servants have they given to be meat unto the fowl of the heavens, the flesh of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth:
২তোমাৰ দাসবোৰৰ মৰা শৱবোৰ তেওঁলোকে আকাশৰ পক্ষীবোৰক আহাৰ স্বৰূপে খাবলৈ দিলে; তোমাৰ ভক্তসকলৰ মাংস পৃথিৱীৰ বনৰীয়া পশুবোৰক দিলে।
3 Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem, and there was none to bury [them].
৩যিৰূচালেমৰ চাৰিওফালে তেওঁলোকে সেই লোকসকলৰ তেজ পানীৰ দৰে ঢালি দিলে; তেওঁলোকক মৈদাম দিবলৈ কোনো নাছিল।
4 We are become a reproach to our neighbours, a mockery and a derision to them that are round about us.
৪চুবুৰীয়া জাতিবোৰৰ আগত আমি নিন্দাৰ পাত্র হৈছোঁ; আমাৰ চাৰিওফালৰ লোকসকলৰ আগত আমি হাঁহিয়াতৰ আৰু বিদ্রূপৰ খোৰাক হৈছোঁ।
5 How long, O Jehovah? wilt thou be angry for ever? Shall thy jealousy burn like fire?
৫হে যিহোৱা, আৰু কিমান কাল? তুমি চিৰকাললৈ ক্ৰোধ কৰি থাকিবানে? তোমাৰ হিংসুক অন্তৰ্জ্বালা অগ্নিৰ দৰে কিমান কাললৈকে জ্বলি থাকিব?
6 Pour out thy fury upon the nations that have not known thee, and upon the kingdoms that call not upon thy name:
৬তোমাক নজনা জাতিবোৰৰ ওপৰত তোমাৰ ক্ৰোধ ঢালি দিয়া, তোমাৰ নামেৰে প্ৰাৰ্থনা নকৰা ৰাজ্যবোৰৰ ওপৰত তোমাৰ ক্ৰোধ বাকি দিয়া।
7 For they have devoured Jacob, and laid waste his habitation.
৭কিয়নো তেওঁলোকেই যাকোবৰ বংশক গ্ৰাস কৰিলে, তেওঁৰ বাসস্থান উচ্ছন্ন কৰিলে।
8 Remember not against us the iniquities of [our] forefathers; let thy tender mercies speedily come to meet us: for we are brought very low.
৮আমাৰ পূৰ্বপুৰুষসকলৰ অপৰাধবোৰক তুমি আমাৰ অহিতে সোঁৱৰণ নকৰিবা; শীঘ্ৰে তোমাৰ দয়া আমাৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিবলৈ দিয়া, কিয়নো আমি অতিশয় হীন-অৱস্থাত পৰিছোঁ।
9 Help us, O God of our salvation, because of the glory of thy name; and deliver us, and forgive our sins, for thy name's sake.
৯হে আমাৰ পৰিত্ৰাণকর্তা ঈশ্বৰ, তোমাৰ নামৰ গৌৰৱৰ কাৰণে আমাক সহায় কৰা; তোমাৰ নামৰ কাৰণে আমাক উদ্ধাৰ কৰা আৰু আমাৰ পাপবোৰ ক্ষমা কৰা।
10 Wherefore should the nations say, Where is their God? Let the avenging of the blood of thy servants that is shed be known among the nations in our sight.
১০আন জাতিবোৰে কিয় ক’ব, “সিহঁতৰ ঈশ্বৰ ক’ত গ’ল?” তুমি আমাৰ চকুৰ সন্মুখতে জাতিবোৰৰ ওপৰত, তোমাৰ দাসবোৰৰ ৰক্তপাতৰ প্ৰতিকাৰ তুমি সাধিবা।
11 Let the groaning of the prisoner come before thee; according to the greatness of thine arm, preserve those that are appointed to die;
১১বন্দীবোৰৰ কাতৰোক্তি তোমাৰ আগলৈ আহঁক; যি সকলৰ ওপৰত মৃত্যুদণ্ডৰ ৰায় দিয়া হৈছে, তোমাৰ মহান ক্ষমতা অনুসাৰে তুমি তেওঁলোকক ৰক্ষা কৰা।
12 And render unto our neighbours, sevenfold into their bosom, their reproach, wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord.
১২হে প্ৰভু, আমাৰ প্রতিবেশী জাতিবোৰে যিভাৱে তোমাক অপমান কৰিছে, তাৰ সাত গুণ প্ৰতিফল তুমি তেওঁলোকৰ বুকুত উভটাই দিয়া।
13 And we, thy people and the sheep of thy pasture, will give thanks unto thee for ever; we will shew forth thy praise from generation to generation.
১৩তাতে তোমাৰ লোক আৰু চৰণীয়া পথাৰৰ মেৰ-ছাগ যি আমি, আমি চিৰকাল তোমাৰ ধন্যবাদ কৰিম, আৰু পুৰুষানুক্ৰমে তোমাৰেই প্ৰশংসা কৰিম।
