< Psalms 77 >

1 To the chief Musician. On Jeduthun. Of Asaph. A Psalm. My voice is unto God, and I will cry; my voice is unto God, and he will give ear unto me.
Pou chèf sanba yo. Pou Jedoutoun. Se yon sòm Asaf. Mwen rele byen fò nan pye Bondye. Wi, mwen rele nan pye Bondye, li koute mwen.
2 In the day of my trouble, I sought the Lord: my hand was stretched out in the night, and slacked not; my soul refused to be comforted.
Lè mwen nan tray, mwen lapriyè nan pye Seyè a. Tout lannwit m'ap lapriyè san rete, mwen pa ka jwenn konsolasyon.
3 I remembered God, and I moaned; I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. (Selah)
Mwen chonje Bondye, m'ap plenn! M'ap kalkile, mwen santi m' dekouraje!
4 Thou holdest open mine eyelids; I am full of disquiet and cannot speak.
Ou fè m' rete je klè, mwen sitèlman boulvèse, mwen pa ka pale.
5 I consider the days of old, the years of ancient times.
M'ap chonje tan lontan, wi, m'ap chonje lanne pase anwo yo.
6 I remember my song in the night; I muse in mine own heart, and my spirit maketh diligent search.
Mwen pase nwit ap repase chante yo, m'ap kalkile anpil nan kè m', m'ap egzaminen, m'ap di:
7 Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?
Eske Seyè a voye m' jete nèt? Eske li p'ap janm kontan avè m' ankò?
8 Hath his loving-kindness ceased for ever? hath [his] word come to an end from generation to generation?
Eske Bondye pa gen bon kè ankò? Eske li p'ap kenbe pawòl li ankò?
9 Hath God forgotten to be gracious? or hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? (Selah)
Eske Bondye bliye gen pitye? Eske lè li ankòlè li pa pran priyè?
10 Then said I, This is my weakness: — the years of the right hand of the Most High
Apre sa mwen di: Men sak fè m' pi mal ankò! Gen lè Bondye ki anwo nan syèl la pa menm jan an ankò?
11 Will I remember, — the works of Jah; for I will remember thy wonders of old,
Seyè, m'a rakonte gwo bagay ou te fè yo, paske mwen chonje bèl mèvèy ou te fè nan tan lontan.
12 And I will meditate upon all thy work, and muse upon thy doings.
M'ap kalkile tout sa ou te fè yo, m'ap egzaminen tout gwo bagay estwòdenè ou te fè yo!
13 O God, thy way is in the sanctuary: who is so great a god as God?
Tout sa ou fè, Bondye, se bagay apa! Nan tout bondye yo, nanpwen ki gen pouvwa tankou ou!
14 Thou art the God that doest wonders; thou hast declared thy strength among the peoples.
Ou se Bondye ki fè mèvèy. Ou fè nasyon yo wè pouvwa ou.
15 Thou hast with [thine] arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. (Selah)
Avèk fòs ponyèt ou ou te delivre pèp ou a, pitit pitit Jakòb yo ak pitit pitit Jozèf yo.
16 The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they trembled, yea, the depths were troubled:
Lè dlo yo wè ou, Bondye, dlo yo soti pè. Lè dlo yo wè ou, fon lanmè yo pran tranble.
17 The thick clouds poured out water; the skies sent out a sound, yea, thine arrows went abroad:
Nwaj yo pran vide gwo lapli, kout loraj pran woule nan nwaj yo, kout zèklè fè yanyan nan tout syèl la.
18 The voice of thy thunder was in the whirlwind, lightnings lit up the world; the earth was troubled and it quaked.
Bri loraj la pran woule nan syèl la. Kout zèklè klere toupatou. Tè a soti pè, li pran tranble.
19 Thy way is in the sea, and thy paths are in the great waters; and thy footsteps are not known.
Ou louvri yon chemen pou ou nan mitan lanmè a. Ou pase nan mitan gwo lanmè fon fon an. Men pesonn pa ka wè mak pye kote ou pase.
20 Thou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
Ou pran Moyiz ak Arawon, ou fè yo mennen pèp ou a tankou yon bann mouton y'ap mennen.
