Psalms 7
1 Shiggaion of David, which he sang to Jehovah, concerning the words of Cush the Benjaminite. Jehovah my God, in thee have I trusted: save me from all my pursuers, and deliver me;
Cântico de Davi, que cantou ao SENHOR, depois das palavras de Cuxe, descendente de Benjamim: SENHOR, meu Deus, em ti confio; salva-me de todos os que me perseguem, e livra-me.
2 Lest he tear my soul like a lion, crushing it while there is no deliverer.
Para que não rasguem minha alma como um leão, sendo despedaçada sem [haver] quem a livre.
3 Jehovah my God, if I have done this, if there be iniquity in my hands;
SENHOR, meu Deus, se eu fiz isto: se há perversidade em minhas mãos;
4 If I have rewarded evil to him that was at peace with me; (indeed I have freed him that without cause oppressed me; )
Se eu paguei [com] mal ao que tinha paz comigo (mas fiz escapar ao que me oprimia sem causa);
5 Let the enemy pursue after my soul, and take [it], and let him tread down my life to the earth, and lay my glory in the dust. (Selah)
[Então] que o inimigo persiga a minha alma, e a alcance; e pise em terra a minha vida; e faça habitar minha honra no pó. (Selá)
6 Arise, Jehovah, in thine anger; lift thyself up against the raging of mine oppressors, and awake for me: thou hast commanded judgment.
Levanta-te, SENHOR, em tua ira; exalta-te pelos furores de meus opressores; e desperta para comigo; tu mandaste o juízo.
7 And the assembly of the peoples shall encompass thee; and for their sakes return thou on high.
Então o ajuntamento de povos te rodeará; portanto volta a te elevar [a ti mesmo] sobre ele.
8 Jehovah shall minister judgment to the peoples. Judge me, Jehovah, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity which is in me.
O SENHOR julgará aos povos; julga-me, SENHOR, conforme a minha justiça, e conforme a sinceridade [que há] em mim.
9 Oh let the wrong of the wicked come to an end, and establish thou the righteous [man]; even thou that triest the hearts and reins, the righteous God.
Que tenha fim a maldade dos maus; mas firma ao justo, tu, ó justo Deus, que provas os corações e os sentimentos.
10 My shield is with God, who saveth the upright in heart.
Meu escudo [pertence] a Deus, que salva os corretos de coração.
11 God is a righteous judge, and a God who is indignant all the day.
Deus é um justo juiz; e um Deus que se ira todos os dias.
12 If one turn not, he will sharpen his sword; he hath bent his bow and made it ready,
Ele afia a espada para aquele que não se arrepende; ele [já] armou e preparou seu arco.
13 And he hath prepared for him instruments of death; his arrows hath he made burning.
E para ele [já] preparou armas mortais; suas flechas utilizará contra os perseguidores.
14 Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, yea, he hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood:
Eis que [o injusto] está com dores de perversidade; e está em trabalho de parto, e gerará mentiras.
15 He digged a pit, and hollowed it out, and is fallen into the hole that he made.
Ele cavou um poço e o fez fundo; mas caiu na cova [que ele próprio] fez.
16 His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violence shall come down upon his own pate.
Seu trabalho se voltará contra sua [própria] cabeça; e sua violência descerá sobre o topo de sua cabeça.
17 I will praise Jehovah according to his righteousness, and will sing forth the name of Jehovah the Most High.
Eu louvarei ao SENHOR conforme sua justiça; cantarei ao nome do SENHOR, o Altíssimo.
