Psalms 69
1 To the chief Musician. Upon Shoshannim. [A Psalm] of David. Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto [my] soul.
Livra-me, ó Deus, pois as aguas entraram até á minha alma.
2 I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing; I am come into the depths of waters, and the flood overfloweth me.
Atolei-me em profundo lamaçal, onde se não póde estar em pé; entrei na profundeza das aguas, onde a corrente me leva.
3 I am weary with my crying, my throat is parched; mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.
Estou cançado de clamar; a minha garganta se seccou: os meus olhos desfallecem esperando o meu Deus.
4 They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head; they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.
Aquelles que me aborrecem sem causa são mais do que os cabellos da minha cabeça; aquelles que procuram destruir-me, sendo injustamente meus inimigos, são poderosos: então restitui o que não furtei.
5 Thou, O God, knowest my foolishness, and my trespasses are not hidden from thee.
Tu, ó Deus, bem conheces a minha insipiencia; e os meus peccados não te são encobertos.
6 Let not them that wait on thee, Lord, Jehovah of hosts, be ashamed through me; let not those that seek thee be confounded through me, O God of Israel.
Não sejam envergonhados por minha causa aquelles que esperam em ti, ó Senhor, Senhor dos Exercitos; não sejam confundidos por minha causa aquelles que te buscam, ó Deus d'Israel.
7 Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; confusion hath covered my face.
Porque por amor de ti tenho supportado affrontas; a confusão cobriu o meu rosto.
8 I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's sons;
Tenho-me tornado um estranho para com meus irmãos, e um desconhecido para com os filhos de minha mãe.
9 For the zeal of thy house hath devoured me, and the reproaches of them that reproach thee have fallen upon me.
Pois o zelo da tua casa me devorou, e as affrontas dos que te affrontam cairam sobre mim.
10 And I wept, my soul was fasting: that also was to my reproach; —
Quando chorei, e castiguei com jejum a minha alma, isto se me tornou em affrontas.
11 And I made sackcloth my garment: then I became a proverb to them.
Puz por vestido um sacco, e me fiz um proverbio para elles.
12 They that sit in the gate talk of me, and [I am] the song of the drunkards.
Aquelles que se assentam á porta fallam contra mim; e fui o cantico dos bebedores de bebida forte.
13 But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, Jehovah, in an acceptable time: O God, in the abundance of thy loving-kindness answer me, according to the truth of thy salvation:
Eu porém faço a minha oração a ti, Senhor, n'um tempo acceitavel: ó Deus, ouve-me segundo a grandeza da tua misericordia, segundo a verdade da tua salvação.
14 Deliver me out of the mire, let me not sink; let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the depths of waters.
Tira-me do lamaçal, e não me deixes atolar; seja eu livre dos que me aborrecem, e das profundezas das aguas.
15 Let not the flood of waters overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up; and let not the pit shut its mouth upon me.
Não me leve a corrente das aguas, e não me absorva ao profundo, nem o poço cerre a sua bocca sobre mim.
16 Answer me, O Jehovah; for thy loving-kindness is good: according to the abundance of thy tender mercies, turn toward me;
Ouve-me, Senhor, pois boa é a tua misericordia: olha para mim segundo a tua muitissima piedade.
17 And hide not thy face from thy servant, for I am in trouble: answer me speedily.
E não escondas o teu rosto do teu servo, porque estou angustiado: ouve-me depressa.
18 Draw nigh unto my soul, be its redeemer; ransom me because of mine enemies.
Approxima-te da minha alma, e resgata-a; livra-me por causa dos meus inimigos.
19 Thou knowest my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonour: mine adversaries are all before thee.
Bem tens conhecido a minha affronta, e a minha vergonha, e a minha confusão; diante de ti estão todos os meus adversarios.
20 Reproach hath broken my heart, and I am overwhelmed: and I looked for sympathy, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.
Affrontas me quebrantaram o coração, e estou fraquissimo: esperei por alguem que tivesse compaixão, mas não houve nenhum; e por consoladores, mas não os achei.
21 Yea, they gave me gall for my food, and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
Deram-me fel por mantimento, e na minha sêde me deram a beber vinagre.
22 Let their table become a snare before them, and their very welfare a trap;
Torne-se-lhes a sua mesa diante d'elles em laço e para sua recompensa em ruina.
23 Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not, and make their loins continually to shake.
Escureçam-se-lhes os seus olhos, para que não vejam, e faze com que os seus lombos tremam constantemente.
24 Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let the fierceness of thine anger take hold of them.
Derrama sobre elles a tua indignação, e prenda-os o ardor da tua ira.
25 Let their habitation be desolate; let there be no dweller in their tents.
Fique desolado o seu palacio; e não haja quem habite nas suas tendas.
26 For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten, and they talk for the sorrow of those whom thou hast wounded.
Pois perseguem áquelle a quem feriste, e conversam sobre a dôr d'aquelles a quem chagaste.
27 Add iniquity unto their iniquity, and let them not come into thy righteousness.
Accrescenta iniquidade á iniquidade d'elles, e não entrem na tua justiça.
28 Let them be blotted out of the book of life, and not be written with the righteous.
Sejam riscados do livro dos vivos, e não sejam escriptos com os justos.
29 But I am afflicted and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me secure on high.
Eu porém sou pobre, e estou triste: ponha-me a tua salvação, ó Deus, n'um alto retiro.
30 I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving;
Louvarei o nome de Deus com um cantico, e engrandecel-o-hei com acção de graças.
31 And it shall please Jehovah more than an ox, — a bullock with horns and cloven hoofs.
Isto será mais agradavel ao Senhor do que o boi ou bezerro que tem pontas e unhas.
32 The meek shall see it, they shall be glad; ye that seek God, your heart shall live.
Os mansos verão isto, e se agradarão; o vosso coração viverá, pois que buscaes a Deus
33 For Jehovah heareth the needy, and despiseth not his prisoners.
Porque o Senhor ouve os necessitados, e não despreza os seus captivos.
34 Let heavens and earth praise him; the seas, and everything that moveth therein.
Louvem-n'o os céus e a terra, os mares e tudo quanto n'elles se move.
35 For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah; and they shall dwell there, and possess it:
Porque Deus salvará a Sião, e edificará as cidades de Judah, para que habitem n'ella e as possuam.
36 And the seed of his servants shall inherit it, and they that love his name shall dwell therein.
E herdal-a-ha a semente de seus servos, e os que amam o seu nome habitarão n'ella.
