Psalms 66
1 To the chief Musician. A Song: a Psalm. Shout aloud unto God, all the earth:
Emite un alegre clamor a Dios, toda la tierra:
2 Sing forth the glory of his name, make his praise glorious;
Haz una canción en honor de su nombre: dale alabanza y gloria.
3 Say unto God, How terrible are thy works! because of the greatness of thy strength, thine enemies come cringing unto thee.
Di a Dios: ¡Cuánto temerán tus obras! debido a tu gran poder, sus enemigos se ven obligados a ponerse bajo sus pies.
4 All the earth shall worship thee, and sing psalms unto thee: they shall sing forth thy name. (Selah)
Deja que toda la tierra te dé culto y te haga canciones; déjalos hacer canciones a tu nombre. (Selah)
5 Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in [his] doings toward the children of men.
Ven y mira las obras de Dios: debe temerse en todo lo que hace a los hijos de los hombres.
6 He turned the sea into dry [land]; they went through the river on foot: there did we rejoice in him.
El mar se convirtió en tierra seca; atravesaron el río a pie; allí tuvimos gozo en él.
7 He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes observe the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. (Selah)
Él está gobernando en el poder para siempre; sus ojos están mirando a las naciones: que sus enemigos no tengan fuerzas contra él. (Selah)
8 Bless our God, ye peoples, and make the voice of his praise to be heard;
Dan bendiciones a nuestro Dios, pueblos, la voz de su alabanza sea fuerte;
9 Who hath set our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.
Porque él nos da vida, y no permitió que nuestros pies resbalen.
10 For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.
Porque tú, oh Dios, nos has puesto a prueba: probándonos con fuego como la plata.
11 Thou broughtest us into a net, thou didst lay a heavy burden upon our loins;
Nos dejas encarcelar; cadenas fueron puestas en nuestras piernas.
12 Thou didst cause men to ride over our head; we went through fire and through water: but thou hast brought us out into abundance.
Dejas que los hombres pasen sobre nuestras cabezas; pasamos por el fuego y el agua; pero nos sacaste a abundancia.
13 I will go into thy house with burnt-offerings; I will perform my vows to thee,
Entraré en tu casa con holocaustos, pagaré mi deuda contigo,
14 Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble.
Guardando la palabra que salió de mis labios, y la cual dijo mi boca, cuando estaba en problemas.
15 I will offer up unto thee burnt-offerings of fatted beasts, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. (Selah)
Te daré holocaustos de animales gordos, y humo de ovejas; Haré ofrendas de bueyes y cabras. (Selah)
16 Come, hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.
Vengan, escúchenme, todos ustedes hombres temerosos de Dios, para que les aclare lo que él ha hecho por mi alma.
17 I called unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.
Mi voz subió a él, y fui levantado del inframundo.
18 Had I regarded iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not hear.
Dije en mi corazón: Jehová no me escuchará:
19 But God hath heard; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
Pero verdaderamente el oído de Dios ha sido abierto; él ha prestado atención a la voz de mi oración.
20 Blessed be God, who hath not turned away my prayer, nor his loving-kindness from me!
Alabado sea Dios que no me ha quitado su buena fe y su misericordia.
