Psalms 66
1 To the chief Musician. A Song: a Psalm. Shout aloud unto God, all the earth:
Aclame a ʼElohim, toda la tierra.
2 Sing forth the glory of his name, make his praise glorious;
Canten la gloria de su Nombre. Hagan gloriosa su alabanza.
3 Say unto God, How terrible are thy works! because of the greatness of thy strength, thine enemies come cringing unto thee.
Digan a ʼElohim: ¡Cuán asombrosas son tus obras! Por la grandeza de tu poder Se someterán a Ti tus enemigos.
4 All the earth shall worship thee, and sing psalms unto thee: they shall sing forth thy name. (Selah)
Toda la tierra te adorará Y cantará alabanzas a Ti. Cantarán salmos a tu Nombre. (Selah)
5 Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in [his] doings toward the children of men.
Vengan y contemplen las obras de ʼElohim, Admirable en sus hechos para los hijos de [los] hombres.
6 He turned the sea into dry [land]; they went through the river on foot: there did we rejoice in him.
Convirtió el mar en tierra seca. Por el río pasaron a pie. Allí nos regocijamos en Él.
7 He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes observe the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. (Selah)
Él gobierna con su poder para siempre. Sus ojos vigilan las naciones. No se enaltezcan los rebeldes. (Selah)
8 Bless our God, ye peoples, and make the voice of his praise to be heard;
Bendigan, pueblos, a nuestro ʼElohim, Y proclamen la voz de su alabanza.
9 Who hath set our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.
Él preserva la vida a nuestra alma Y no permite que resbale nuestro pie.
10 For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.
Porque Tú nos probaste, oh ʼElohim. Nos purificaste en el crisol como se purifica la plata.
11 Thou broughtest us into a net, thou didst lay a heavy burden upon our loins;
Nos metiste en la red. Pusiste sobre nuestra cintura una carga muy pesada.
12 Thou didst cause men to ride over our head; we went through fire and through water: but thou hast brought us out into abundance.
Ordenaste que los hombres cabalgaran sobre nuestras cabezas. Pasamos por el fuego y por el agua. Pero luego nos sacaste a la abundancia.
13 I will go into thy house with burnt-offerings; I will perform my vows to thee,
Entraré en tu Casa con holocaustos. Te pagaré mis votos
14 Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble.
Que pronunciaron mis labios, Que mi boca dijo cuando estaba angustiado.
15 I will offer up unto thee burnt-offerings of fatted beasts, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. (Selah)
Te ofreceré holocaustos engordados con el humo de carneros. Te ofreceré becerros y machos cabríos. (Selah)
16 Come, hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.
Vengan, escuchen todos los que temen a ʼElohim Y relataré lo que hizo por mi vida.
17 I called unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.
A Él clamé con mi boca, Y Él fue exaltado con mi lengua.
18 Had I regarded iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not hear.
Si en mi corazón tuviera yo iniquidad ʼAdonay no me habría escuchado.
19 But God hath heard; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
Pero ciertamente ʼElohim me escuchó Y atendió la voz de mi súplica.
20 Blessed be God, who hath not turned away my prayer, nor his loving-kindness from me!
Bendito sea ʼElohim, Quien no desechó mi oración, Ni apartó de mí su misericordia.
