Psalms 66
1 To the chief Musician. A Song: a Psalm. Shout aloud unto God, all the earth:
੧ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਭਜਨ, ਗੀਤ। ਹੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕੋ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਲਲਕਾਰੋ,
2 Sing forth the glory of his name, make his praise glorious;
੨ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਦੇ ਭਜਨ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਕਰੋ, ਉਹ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰੋ!
3 Say unto God, How terrible are thy works! because of the greatness of thy strength, thine enemies come cringing unto thee.
੩ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਖੋ, ਵਾਹ, ਤੇਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੇਡੇ ਡਰਾਉਣੇ ਹਨ! ਤੇਰੀ ਮਹਾਂ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਤੇਰੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਹਿਚਕ ਕੇ ਆਉਣਗੇ!
4 All the earth shall worship thee, and sing psalms unto thee: they shall sing forth thy name. (Selah)
੪ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਣਗੇ ਤੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਗਾਉਣਗੇ, ਓਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਭਜਨ ਗਾਉਣਗੇ। ਸਲਹ।
5 Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in [his] doings toward the children of men.
੫ਆਓ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖੋ, ਆਦਮ ਵੰਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਵੱਲ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਹੈ।
6 He turned the sea into dry [land]; they went through the river on foot: there did we rejoice in him.
੬ਉਹ ਨੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਥਲ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਓਹ ਦਰਿਆ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੁੱਕੇ ਪੈਰੀਂ ਲੰਘ ਗਏ, ਉੱਥੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਹੋਏ।
7 He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes observe the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. (Selah)
੭ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਨਾਲ ਸਦਾ ਤੱਕ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਆਕੀ ਲੋਕ ਸਿਰ ਨਾ ਚੁੱਕਣਗੇ!। ਸਲਹ।
8 Bless our God, ye peoples, and make the voice of his praise to be heard;
੮ਹੇ ਲੋਕੋ, ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਆਖੋ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਜਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਸੁਣਾਓ,
9 Who hath set our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.
੯ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡੋਲਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
10 For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.
੧੦ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪਰਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦੇ ਤਾਉਣ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਤਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
11 Thou broughtest us into a net, thou didst lay a heavy burden upon our loins;
੧੧ਤੂੰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਜਾਲ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਇਆ, ਤੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਲੱਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਡਾਢਾ ਭਾਰ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ!
12 Thou didst cause men to ride over our head; we went through fire and through water: but thou hast brought us out into abundance.
੧੨ਤੂੰ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਿਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਅਸੀਂ ਅੱਗ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੀ ਲੰਘੇ, ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਭਰਿਆ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
13 I will go into thy house with burnt-offerings; I will perform my vows to thee,
੧੩ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਆਵਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸੁੱਖਣਾਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ,
14 Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble.
੧੪ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੁੱਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਨਿੱਕਲੀਆਂ, ਅਤੇ ਸੰਕਟ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੂੰਹੋਂ ਮੰਨਿਆ।
15 I will offer up unto thee burnt-offerings of fatted beasts, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. (Selah)
੧੫ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਮੋਟੇ-ਮੋਟੇ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਤ੍ਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਧੂਪ ਨਾਲ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਸਲਹ।
16 Come, hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.
੧੬ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਭੈਅ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਾਲਿਓ, ਆਓ, ਸੁਣੋ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਾਂਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਲਈ ਕੀ ਕੁਝ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
17 I called unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.
੧੭ਮੈਂ ਮੂੰਹੋਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਰਸਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਸਲਾਹਿਆ।
18 Had I regarded iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not hear.
੧੮ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦੀ ਰੱਖਦਾ, ਤਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਨਾ ਸੁਣਦਾ।
19 But God hath heard; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
੧੯ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਸੱਚ-ਮੁੱਚ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਵੱਲ ਕੰਨ ਲਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
20 Blessed be God, who hath not turned away my prayer, nor his loving-kindness from me!
੨੦ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਹੈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਦ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਨਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਦਯਾ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਰੋਕਿਆ।
