Psalms 66
1 To the chief Musician. A Song: a Psalm. Shout aloud unto God, all the earth:
സംഗീതസംവിധായകന്. ഒരു ഗീതം; ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. സർവഭൂമിയുമേ, ദൈവത്തിന് ആനന്ദത്തോടെ ആർപ്പിടുക!
2 Sing forth the glory of his name, make his praise glorious;
അവിടത്തെ നാമത്തിന്റെ മഹത്ത്വം ആലപിക്കുക; അവിടത്തെ സ്തുതി തേജസ്സേറിയതാക്കുക.
3 Say unto God, How terrible are thy works! because of the greatness of thy strength, thine enemies come cringing unto thee.
ദൈവത്തോടു പറയുക: “അവിടത്തെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ എത്ര ഭീതിജനകം! അവിടത്തെ ശക്തി അതിമഹത്തായതാണ് അതുകൊണ്ട് അങ്ങയുടെ ശത്രുക്കൾ അങ്ങയുടെ കാൽക്കൽവീഴുന്നു.
4 All the earth shall worship thee, and sing psalms unto thee: they shall sing forth thy name. (Selah)
സർവഭൂമിയും തിരുമുമ്പിൽ താണുവണങ്ങുന്നു; അവർ അവിടത്തേക്ക് സ്തുതിപാടുന്നു, അവിടത്തെ നാമത്തിന് സ്തുതിഗീതം ആലപിക്കുന്നു.” (സേലാ)
5 Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in [his] doings toward the children of men.
ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ വന്നു കാണുക, മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാർക്കുവേണ്ടി അവിടന്ന് വിസ്മയാവഹമായ കാര്യങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുന്നു!
6 He turned the sea into dry [land]; they went through the river on foot: there did we rejoice in him.
അവിടന്ന് സമുദ്രത്തെ ഉണങ്ങിയ നിലമാക്കി, അവർ നദിയുടെ അടിത്തട്ടിലൂടെ കാൽനടയായി പോയി— വരിക, നമുക്ക് ദൈവത്തിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കാം.
7 He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes observe the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. (Selah)
അവിടന്ന് തന്റെ ശക്തിയാൽ എന്നേക്കും വാഴുന്നു, അവിടത്തെ കണ്ണുകൾ രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളെ വീക്ഷിക്കുന്നു— മത്സരിക്കുന്നവർ അവിടത്തേക്കെതിരേ തങ്ങളെത്തന്നെ ഉയർത്താതിരിക്കട്ടെ. (സേലാ)
8 Bless our God, ye peoples, and make the voice of his praise to be heard;
സകലജനതകളുമേ, നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തെ വാഴ്ത്തുക, അവിടത്തേക്കുള്ള സ്തുതിനാദമെങ്ങും മുഴങ്ങട്ടെ;
9 Who hath set our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.
അവിടന്ന് നമ്മുടെ ജീവനെ സംരക്ഷിച്ചു നമ്മുടെ കാലടികൾ വഴുതാൻ സമ്മതിച്ചതുമില്ല.
10 For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.
ദൈവമേ, അവിടന്ന് ഞങ്ങളെ പരിശോധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; വെള്ളി ഊതിക്കഴിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അങ്ങു ഞങ്ങളെ സ്‌ഫുടംചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
11 Thou broughtest us into a net, thou didst lay a heavy burden upon our loins;
അവിടന്ന് ഞങ്ങളെ തടവിലാക്കുകയും ഞങ്ങളുടെ മുതുകിൽ വലിയ ഭാരം ചുമത്തുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
12 Thou didst cause men to ride over our head; we went through fire and through water: but thou hast brought us out into abundance.
അവിടന്ന് മനുഷ്യരെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ തലയ്ക്കുമീതേ ഓടുമാറാക്കി; ഞങ്ങൾ തീയിലും വെള്ളത്തിലുംകൂടി കടന്നുപോയി, എങ്കിലും അങ്ങ് ഞങ്ങളെ സമൃദ്ധമായ ഒരു സ്ഥലത്തേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുവന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
13 I will go into thy house with burnt-offerings; I will perform my vows to thee,
ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളുമായി ഞാൻ അവിടത്തെ മന്ദിരത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ച്, അങ്ങയോടുള്ള എന്റെ നേർച്ചകൾ നിറവേറ്റും—
14 Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble.
ഞാൻ ദുരിതത്തിലായിരുന്നപ്പോൾ എന്റെ അധരങ്ങൾ ഉച്ചരിച്ചതും എന്റെ വായ് സംസാരിച്ചതുമായ നേർച്ചകൾതന്നെ.
15 I will offer up unto thee burnt-offerings of fatted beasts, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. (Selah)
ഞാൻ അങ്ങേക്ക് തടിച്ചുകൊഴുത്ത മൃഗങ്ങൾ ഹോമയാഗമായി അർപ്പിക്കും ഹൃദ്യസുഗന്ധമായി ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും; ഞാൻ കാളകളെയും ആടുകളെയും അർപ്പിക്കും. (സേലാ)
16 Come, hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.
ദൈവത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്ന സകലരുമേ, വന്നു കേൾക്കുക; അവിടന്ന് എനിക്കുവേണ്ടി ചെയ്തത് ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ അറിയിക്കാം.
17 I called unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.
ഞാൻ എന്റെ വാകൊണ്ട് അവിടത്തോട് നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവിടത്തെ സ്തുതി എന്റെ നാവിന്മേൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
18 Had I regarded iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not hear.
ഞാൻ എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ പാപം പരിപോഷിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ, കർത്താവ് ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുകയില്ലായിരുന്നു.
19 But God hath heard; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
എന്നാൽ ദൈവം ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു, നിശ്ചയം എന്റെ പ്രാർഥന കേട്ടുമിരിക്കുന്നു.
20 Blessed be God, who hath not turned away my prayer, nor his loving-kindness from me!
എന്റെ പ്രാർഥന നിരസിക്കാതെയും അവിടത്തെ സ്നേഹം തടഞ്ഞുവെക്കാതെയുമിരുന്ന ദൈവം വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ.
