Psalms 63
1 A Psalm of David; when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee. My soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh languisheth for thee, in a dry and weary land without water:
௧யூதாவின் பாலைவனத்தில் இருந்தபோது தாவீது பாடிய பாடல். தேவனே, நீர் என் தேவன்; அதிகாலமே உம்மைத் தேடுகிறேன்; வறண்டதும் சோர்வுற்றதும் தண்ணீரற்றதுமான நிலத்திலே என்னுடைய ஆத்துமா உம்மேல் தாகமாக இருக்கிறது, என்னுடைய உடலானது உம்மை வாஞ்சிக்கிறது.
2 To see thy power and thy glory, as I have beheld thee in the sanctuary;
௨இப்படியே பரிசுத்த இடத்தில் உம்மைப்பார்க்க ஆசையாக இருந்து, உமது வல்லமையையும் உமது மகிமையையும் கண்டேன்.
3 For thy loving-kindness is better than life: my lips shall praise thee.
௩உயிரைவிட உமது கிருபை நல்லது; என்னுடைய உதடுகள் உம்மைத் துதிக்கும்.
4 So will I bless thee while I live; I will lift up my hands in thy name.
௪என்னுடைய உயிர் உள்ளவரை நான் உம்மைத் துதித்து, உமது பெயரை சொல்லிக் கையை உயர்த்துவேன்.
5 My soul is satisfied as with marrow and fatness, and my mouth shall praise [thee] with joyful lips.
௫நிணத்தையும் கொழுப்பையும் உண்டதுபோல என்னுடைய ஆத்துமா திருப்தியாகும்; என்னுடைய வாய் ஆனந்த சந்தோஷமுள்ள உதடுகளால் உம்மைப் போற்றும்.
6 When I remember thee upon my bed, I meditate on thee in the night-watches:
௬என்னுடைய படுக்கையின்மேல் நான் உம்மை நினைக்கும்போது, இரவுநேரங்களில் உம்மைத் தியானிக்கிறேன்.
7 For thou hast been my help, and in the shadow of thy wings will I sing for joy.
௭நீர் எனக்குத் துணையாக இருந்ததினால், உமது இறக்கைகளின் நிழலிலே சந்தோஷப்படுகிறேன்.
8 My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.
௮என்னுடைய ஆத்துமா உம்மைத் தொடர்ந்து பற்றிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது; உமது வலதுகரம் என்னைத் தாங்குகிறது.
9 But those that seek my soul, to destroy [it], shall go into the lower parts of the earth;
௯என் உயிரை அழிக்கத் தேடுகிறவர்களோ, பூமியின் தாழ்விடங்களில் இறங்குவார்கள்.
10 They shall be given over to the power of the sword; they shall be the portion of foxes.
௧0அவர்கள் வாளால் விழுவார்கள்; நரிகளுக்கு இரையாவார்கள்.
11 But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: for the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
௧௧ராஜாவோ தேவனில் சந்தோஷப்படுவார்; தேவன் பேரில் சத்தியம்செய்கிறவர்கள் அனைவரும் மேன்மைபாராட்டுவார்கள்; பொய் பேசுகிறவர்களின் வாய் அடைக்கப்படும்.
