< Psalms 61 >

1 To the chief Musician. On a stringed instrument. [A Psalm] of David. Hear, O God, my cry; attend unto my prayer.
Ho an’ ny mpiventy hira. Hampiarahina amin’ ny valiha. Nataon’ i Davida. Henoy ny fitarainako, Andriamanitra ô; tandremo ny fivavako.
2 From the end of the earth will I call unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: thou wilt lead me on to a rock which is too high for me.
Any am-paran’ ny tany no hiantsoako Anao raha reraka ny foko; ento aho ho any amin’ ny vatolampy izay avo ka tsy tratro;
3 For thou hast been a refuge for me, a strong tower from before the enemy.
Fa aroko Hianao sy tilikambo mafy handosirako ny fahavalo.
4 I will sojourn in thy tent for ever; I will take refuge in the covert of thy wings. (Selah)
Aoka hitoetra ao an-tranonao mandrakizay aho; aoka hialoka ao ambanin’ ny fanomban’ ny elatrao aho,
5 For thou, O God, hast heard my vows; thou hast given [me] the inheritance of those that fear thy name.
Fa Hianao, Andriamanitra ô efa nandre ny voadiko; efa nomenao ahy ny lovan’ izay matahotra ny anaranao.
6 Thou wilt add days to the days of the king: his years shall be as many generations.
Halavao ny andron’ ny mpanjaka; aoka ny taonany hahatratra ny taranaka maro.
7 He shall abide before God for ever: bestow loving-kindness and truth, that they may preserve him.
Aoka hitoetra eo anatrehan’ Andriamanitra mandrakizay izy; famindram-po sy fahamarinana no tendreo hiaro azy;
8 So will I sing forth thy name for ever, performing my vows from day to day.
Ka dia izany no hankalazako ny anaranao mandrakizay, mba hanefako isan’ andro ny voadiko.
