< Psalms 61 >
1 To the chief Musician. On a stringed instrument. [A Psalm] of David. Hear, O God, my cry; attend unto my prayer.
To the choirmaster - on a stringed instrument of David. Hear! O God cry of entreaty my pay attention to! prayer my.
2 From the end of the earth will I call unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: thou wilt lead me on to a rock which is too high for me.
From [the] end of the earth - to you I call when grows faint heart my on a rock [which] it is high more than me you will lead me.
3 For thou hast been a refuge for me, a strong tower from before the enemy.
For you have been a refuge of me a tower of strength from before [the] enemy.
4 I will sojourn in thy tent for ever; I will take refuge in the covert of thy wings. (Selah)
Let me sojourn in tent your forever let me take refuge in [the] shelter of wings your (Selah)
5 For thou, O God, hast heard my vows; thou hast given [me] the inheritance of those that fear thy name.
For you O God you have listened to vows my you have given [the] possession of [those] fearing name your.
6 Thou wilt add days to the days of the king: his years shall be as many generations.
Days to [the] days of [the] king you will add years his [be] like a generation and a generation.
7 He shall abide before God for ever: bestow loving-kindness and truth, that they may preserve him.
May he sit forever before God covenant loyalty and faithfulness appoint they will preserve him.
8 So will I sing forth thy name for ever, performing my vows from day to day.
Thus I will sing praises to name your for ever to pay I vows my day - day.
