Psalms 59
1 To the chief Musician. 'Destroy not.' Of David. Michtam; when Saul sent, and they watched the house to kill him. Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God; secure me on high from them that rise up against me.
Líbrame de las manos de mis enemigos. oh mi Dios; mantenerme a salvo de aquellos que vienen contra mí.
2 Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from men of blood.
Líbrame del poder de los malhechores, y mantenme a salvo de los hombres sanguinarios.
3 For behold, they lie in wait for my soul; strong ones are gathered against me: not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O Jehovah.
Porque he aquí están acechando mi vida; los poderosos se han unido para matarme pero no a causa de mi pecado o mi maldad, oh Señor.
4 They run and prepare themselves without [my] fault: awake to meet me, and behold.
Señor no he sido rebelde ni he pecado; sin embargo se apresuran a atacarme. despiértate! y ven en mi ayuda, y mira!
5 Yea, do thou, Jehovah, the God of hosts, the God of Israel, arise to visit all the nations: be not gracious to any plotters of iniquity. (Selah)
Tú, oh Jehová Dios de los ejércitos, eres el Dios de Israel; ven ahora y castiga a las naciones; no tengas piedad de ningún malvado traidor. (Selah)
6 They return in the evening; they howl like a dog, and go round about the city:
Ellos vuelven por la tarde; hacen un ruido como un perro, y rondan la ciudad.
7 Behold, they belch out with their mouth; swords are in their lips: for who [say they] doth hear?
Mira, el odio está cayendo de sus labios; las maldiciones están en sus lenguas: dicen: ¿Quién nos oye?
8 But thou, Jehovah, wilt laugh at them; thou wilt have all the nations in derision.
Pero te reirás de ellos, oh Señor; te burlaras de todas las naciones.
9 Their strength! ...I will take heed to thee; for God is my high fortress.
O mi fuerza, pondré mi esperanza en ti; porque Dios es mi torre fuerte.
10 God, whose loving-kindness will come to meet me, — God shall let me see [my desire] upon mine enemies.
El Dios de mi misericordia irá delante de mí: Dios me dejará ver mi deseo hecho en mis enemigos.
11 Slay them not, lest my people forget; by thy power make them wander, and bring them down, O Lord, our shield.
No los mates, para que mi pueblo tenga presente su recuerdo; sean humillados, dispersados con tu poder y a todas las direcciones; oh Señor nuestro protector!
12 [Because of] the sin of their mouth, the word of their lips, let them even be taken in their pride; and because of cursing and lying which they speak.
Por el pecado de sus bocas y la palabra de sus labios, sean presa de su propio orgullo; y por sus maldiciones y su engaño,
13 Make an end in wrath, make an end, that they may be no more; that they may know that God ruleth in Jacob, unto the ends of the earth. (Selah)
Ponles fin con tu ira, ponles fin, que dejen de existir; que vean que Dios está gobernando en Jacob y hasta los confines de la tierra. (Selah)
14 And in the evening they shall return, they shall howl like a dog, and go round about the city.
Y al atardecer, vuelven ladrando como un perro, y den la vuelta a la ciudad.
15 They shall wander about for meat, and stay all night if they be not satisfied.
Déjalos ir de un lado a otro en busca de comida, y estar allí toda la noche aullando si no tienen suficiente.
16 But as for me, I will sing of thy strength; yea, I will sing aloud of thy loving-kindness in the morning; for thou hast been to me a high fortress, and a refuge in the day of my trouble.
Pero haré canciones sobre tu poder; sí, daré gritos de alegría por tu misericordia en la mañana; porque has sido mi refugio mi torre fuerte en momentos de angustia.
17 Unto thee, my strength, will I sing psalms; for God is my high fortress, the God of my mercy.
A ti, oh mi fortaleza, haré mi canción: porque Dios es mi torre alta y protección. mi refugio el Dios de mi misericordia.
