Psalms 54

1 To the chief Musician. On stringed instruments: an instruction. Of David; when the Ziphites came, and said to Saul, Is not David hiding himself with us? O God, by thy name save me, and by thy strength do me justice.

Sea tu nombre mi salvación, oh Dios; Defiéndeme con tu poder.

2 O God, hear my prayer; give ear to the words of my mouth.

Deja que mi oración venga delante de ti, oh Dios; escucha las palabras de mi boca.

3 For strangers are risen up against me, and the violent seek after my life: they have not set God before them. (Selah)

Porque los hombres que me persiguen han salido contra mí; y hombres violentos se proponen tomar mi vida; no han puesto a Dios ante sus ojos. (Selah)

4 Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is among them that uphold my soul.

Mira, Dios es mi ayudador: el Señor es el que gran defensor de mi vida.

5 He will requite evil to mine enemies: in thy truth cut them off.

Él hará que los malos actos de mis enemigos vuelvan a ellos mismos; que sean cortados por tu verdad.

6 I will freely sacrifice unto thee; I will praise thy name, O Jehovah, because it is good.

Libremente te haré mis ofrendas; Alabaré tu nombre, oh Señor, porque es bueno.

7 For he hath delivered me out of all trouble; and mine eye hath seen [its desire] upon mine enemies.

Porque has sido mi salvador de todas mis angustias; y mis ojos han visto la ruina de mis enemigos.
