Psalms 50
1 A Psalm. Of Asaph. God, Elohim-Jehovah, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.
૧આસાફનું ગીત. સામર્થ્યવાન, ઈશ્વર, યહોવાહ, બોલ્યા છે અને તેમણે સૂર્યના ઉદયથી તે તેના અસ્ત સુધી પૃથ્વીને બોલાવી છે.
2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined forth.
૨સિયોન, જે સૌંદર્યની સંપૂર્ણતા છે, તેમાંથી ઈશ્વર પ્રકાશે છે.
3 Our God will come, and will not keep silence: fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.
૩આપણા ઈશ્વર આવશે અને છાના રહેશે નહિ; તેમની આગળ અગ્નિ બાળી મૂકશે અને તેમની આસપાસ મહાતોફાન જાગશે.
4 He will call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people:
૪પોતાના લોકોનો ન્યાય કરવા તે ઉપરના આકાશને તથા પૃથ્વીને બોલાવશે.
5 Gather unto me my godly ones, those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice!
૫“જેઓએ બલિદાનથી મારી સાથે કરાર કર્યો છે; એવા મારા ભક્તોને મારી પાસે ભેગા કરો.”
6 And the heavens shall declare his righteousness; for God executeth judgment himself. (Selah)
૬આકાશો તેમનું ન્યાયીપણું પ્રગટ કરશે, કેમ કે ઈશ્વર પોતે ન્યાયાધીશ છે.
7 Hear, my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify unto thee: I am God, thy God.
૭“હે મારા લોકો, સાંભળો અને હું બોલીશ; હું ઈશ્વર, તમારો ઈશ્વર છું.
8 I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices, or thy burnt-offerings, continually before me;
૮તારા બલિદાનોને લીધે હું તને ઠપકો આપીશ નહિ; તારાં દહનીયાર્પણો નિરંતર મારી આગળ થાય છે.
9 I will take no bullock out of thy house, [nor] he-goats out of thy folds:
૯હું તારી કોડમાંથી બળદ અથવા તારા વાડાઓમાંથી બકરા લઈશ નહિ.
10 For every beast of the forest is mine, the cattle upon a thousand hills;
૧૦કારણ કે અરણ્યનું દરેક પશુ અને હજાર ડુંગરો ઉપરનાં પશુઓ મારાં છે.
11 I know all the fowl of the mountains, and the roaming creatures of the field are mine:
૧૧હું પર્વતોનાં સર્વ પક્ષીઓને ઓળખું છું અને જંગલના હિંસક પશુઓ મારાં છે.
12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee; for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.
૧૨જો હું ભૂખ્યો હોઉં, તોપણ હું તમને કહીશ નહિ; કારણ કે જગત તથા તેમાંનું સર્વસ્વ મારું છે.
13 Should I eat the flesh of bulls, and drink the blood of goats?
૧૩શું હું બળદોનું માંસ ખાઉં? અથવા શું હું બકરાઓનું લોહી પીઉં?
14 Offer unto God thanksgiving, and perform thy vows unto the Most High;
૧૪ઈશ્વરને આભારસ્તુતિનાં અર્પણો ચઢાવ અને પરાત્પર પ્રત્યેની તારી પ્રતિજ્ઞા પૂર્ણ કર.
15 And call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
૧૫સંકટને સમયે મને વિનંતિ કર; હું તને છોડાવીશ અને તું મારો મહિમા પ્રગટ કરશે.”
16 But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant into thy mouth,
૧૬પણ ઈશ્વર દુષ્ટને કહે છે કે, “તારે મારા વિધિઓ શા માટે પ્રગટ કરવા જોઈએ? મારો કરાર શા માટે તારા મુખમાં લેવો જોઈએ?
17 Seeing thou hast hated correction and hast cast my words behind thee?
૧૭છતાં પણ તું મારી શિખામણનો તિરસ્કાર કરે છે અને મારા શબ્દો તું તારી પાછળ નાખે છે.
18 When thou sawest a thief, thou didst take pleasure in him, and thy portion was with adulterers;
૧૮જ્યારે તું ચોરને જુએ છે, ત્યારે તું તેને સંમતિ આપે છે; જેઓ વ્યભિચારમાં જોડાયેલા છે તેઓનો તું ભાગીદાર થયો છે.
19 Thou lettest thy mouth loose to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit;
૧૯તું ભૂંડાઈને તારું મોં સોંપે છે અને તારી જીભ કપટ રચે છે.
20 Thou sittest [and] speakest against thy brother, thou revilest thine own mother's son:
૨૦તું બેસીને તારા પોતાના ભાઈઓની વિરુદ્ધ બોલે છે; તું તારી પોતાની માતાના દીકરાની બદનામી કરે છે.
21 These [things] hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether as thyself: [but] I will reprove thee, and set [them] in order before thine eyes.
૨૧તેં આવાં કામ કર્યાં છે, પણ હું ચૂપ રહ્યો, તેથી તેં વિચાર્યું કે હું છેક તારા જેવો છું. પણ હું તને ઠપકો આપીશ અને હું તારાં કામ તારી આંખો આગળ અનુક્રમે ગોઠવીશ.
22 Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear in pieces, and there be no deliverer.
૨૨હે ઈશ્વરને વીસરનારાઓ, હવે આનો વિચાર કરો; નહિ તો હું તમારા ફાડીને ટુકડેટુકડા કરીશ અને તમને ત્યાં છોડાવવા માટે કોઈ નહિ આવે.
23 Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me; and to him that ordereth [his] way will I shew the salvation of God.
૨૩જે આભારસ્તુતિનાં અર્પણો ચઢાવે છે તે મને માન આપે છે અને જે પોતાના માર્ગો નિયમસર રાખે છે તેને હું ઈશ્વર દ્વારા મળતો ઉદ્ધાર બતાવીશ.”
