Psalms 45
1 To the chief Musician. Upon Shoshannim. Of the sons of Korah. An instruction; — a song of the Beloved. My heart is welling forth [with] a good matter: I say what I have composed touching the king. My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
೧ಪ್ರಧಾನಗಾಯಕನ ಕೀರ್ತನಸಂಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದು; ಕೋಶನ್ನೀಮ್ ಎಂಬ ರಾಗದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು; ಕೋರಹೀಯರ ಪದ್ಯ; ಪ್ರೇಮಗೀತೆ. ಒಂದು ದಿವ್ಯ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಹೇಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ತವಕಪಡುತ್ತದೆ; ನಾನು ರಾಜನನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಈ ಪದ್ಯವನ್ನು ರಚಿಸುವೆನು. ನನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಬರಹಗಾರನ ಲೇಖನಿಯಂತೆ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ.
2 Thou art fairer than the sons of men; grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.
೨ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗಿಂತ ಅತಿಸುಂದರನು; ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಬಹು ಮಧುರ; ಇದರಿಂದಲೇ ದೈವಾನುಗ್ರಹವು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಸ್ವಷ್ಟವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
3 Gird thy sword upon [thy] thigh, O mighty one, [in] thy majesty and thy splendour;
೩ಶೂರನೇ, ಮಹಿಮೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಭಾವವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ಸೊಂಟಕ್ಕೆ ಪಟ್ಟದ ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೋ.
4 And [in] thy splendour ride prosperously, because of truth and meekness [and] righteousness: and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
೪ಸತ್ಯತೆ, ದೈನ್ಯ, ನೀತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸಕಲ ವೈಭವದೊಡನೆ ವಾಹನರೂಢನಾಗಿ, ವಿಜಯೋತ್ಸವದೊಡನೆ ಹೊರಡು. ನಿನ್ನ ಬಲಗೈ ಭಯಂಕರ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಿ.
5 Thine arrows are sharp — peoples fall under thee — in the heart of the king's enemies.
೫ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಣಗಳು ಮಹಾತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣವಾಗಿರುವವು; ಅವು ರಾಜನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಎದೆಯನ್ನು ಭೇದಿಸುವವು; ಶತ್ರುಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾದದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಬೀಳುವವು.
6 Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever; a sceptre of uprightness is the sceptre of thy kingdom:
೬ದೇವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನವು ಯುಗಯುಗಾಂತರಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇರುವುದು; ನಿನ್ನ ರಾಜದಂಡವು ನ್ಯಾಯ ದಂಡವಾಗಿದೆ.
7 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated wickedness; therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy companions.
೭ನೀನು ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತಿ, ಅಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುತ್ತಿ; ಆದುದರಿಂದ ದೇವರು, ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಜೊತೆಗಾರರಿಗಿಂತ, ಉನ್ನತಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಸಿ, ಪರಮಾನಂದತೈಲದಿಂದ ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
8 Myrrh and aloes, cassia, are all thy garments; out of ivory palaces stringed instruments have made thee glad.
೮ನಿನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ರಕ್ತಬೋಳ, ದಾಲ್ಚಿನ್ನಿ, ಚಂದನಗಳಿಂದ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಸುವಾಸನೆಯುಳ್ಳವುಗಳಾಗಿವೆ; ಗಜದಂತ ಅರಮನೆಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಉತ್ಕೃಷ್ಟವಾದ ವಾದ್ಯಗಳು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆನಂದಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತವೆ.
9 Kings' daughters are among thine honourable women; upon thy right hand doth stand the queen in gold of Ophir.
೯ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಪರಿವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜಕುಮಾರಿಯರೂ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ; ಪಟ್ಟದ ರಾಣಿಯು ಓಫೀರ್ ದೇಶದ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಆಭರಣಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕೃತಳಾಗಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಬಲಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿರುವಳು.
10 Hearken, daughter, and see, and incline thine ear; and forget thine own people and thy father's house:
೧೦ಎಲೌ ರಾಜಕುಮಾರಿಯೇ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಆಲೋಚಿಸು; ಸ್ವಜನರನ್ನೂ ತೌರಮನೆಯನ್ನೂ ಮರೆತುಬಿಡು.
11 And the king will desire thy beauty; for he is thy Lord, and worship thou him.
೧೧ಆಗ ರಾಜನು ನಿನ್ನ ಲಾವಣ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೋಡಲು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುವನು. ಆತನೇ ನಿನಗೆ ಒಡೆಯನು; ಆತನನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸು.
12 And the daughter of Tyre with a gift, the rich ones among the people, shall court thy favour.
೧೨ತೂರ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾನದವರು ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬರುವರು; ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತರು ನಿನ್ನ ದಯೆಯನ್ನು ಕೋರುವರು.
13 All glorious is the king's daughter within; her clothing is of wrought gold:
೧೩ಅಂತಃಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜಕುಮಾರಿಯು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ವೈಭವದಿಂದಿದ್ದಾಳೆ; ಆಕೆಯು ಜರತಾರಿಯ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.
14 She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of embroidery; the virgins behind her, her companions, shall be brought in unto thee:
೧೪ಆಕೆಯು ಬೂಟೇದಾರಿ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ಅವಳ ಸೇವೆಗಾಗಿ ಕನ್ಯೆಯರಾದ ಸಖೀಯರು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿ, ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವರು.
15 With joy and gladness shall they be brought; they shall enter into the king's palace.
೧೫ಅವರು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸದಿಂದಲೂ, ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದಲೂ ಬಂದು, ಅರಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವರು.
16 Instead of thy fathers shall be thy sons; princes shalt thou make them in all the earth.
೧೬ನಿನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಇರುವರು; ನೀನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸುವಿ.
17 I will make thy name to be remembered throughout all generations; therefore shall the peoples praise thee for ever and ever.
೧೭ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ತಲತಲಾಂತರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕವಿರುವಂತೆ ನಾನು ಮಾಡುವೆನು; ಅದುದರಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಗಳು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಯುಗಯುಗಾಂತರಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಶಂಸಿಸುವರು.
