Psalms 36
1 To the chief Musician. [A Psalm] of the servant of Jehovah; of David. The transgression of the wicked uttereth within my heart, There is no fear of God before his eyes.
Ho an’ ny mpiventy hira. Nataon’ i Davida, mpanompon’ i Jehovah. Ny ota milaza ato am-poko ny amin’ ny ratsy fanahy hoe: tsy misy fahatahorana an’ Andriamanitra ao aminy.
2 For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, [even] when his iniquity is found to be hateful.
Fa miarahaba tena izy ny amin’ ny tsy hahitana ny helony ka hankahalana azy.
3 The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, to do good.
Ny tenin’ ny vavany dia faharatsiana sy fitaka; efa nihadala izy ka nitsahatra tsy hanao soa.
4 He deviseth wickedness up on his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good: he abhorreth not evil.
Faharatsiana no saintsaininy eo am-pandriany; mitsangana eo amin’ ny lalana tsy mety izy; ny ratsy tsy mba laviny akory.
5 Jehovah, thy loving-kindness is in the heavens, and thy faithfulness [reacheth] unto the clouds.
Jehovah ô, mipaka amin’ ny lanitra ny famindram-ponao; mihatra amin’ ny rahona ny fahamarinanao.
6 Thy righteousness is like the high mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: thou, Jehovah, preservest man and beast.
Ny fahamarinanao dia tahaka ny tendrombohitra avo dia avo; ny fitsaranao dia toy ny lalina indrindra; ny olona sy ny biby dia samy vonjenao, Jehovah ô,
7 How precious is thy loving-kindness, O God! So the sons of men take refuge under the shadow of thy wings.
Endrey ny hatsaran’ ny famindram-ponao, Andriamanitra ô! ka mialoka eo amin’ ny aloky ny elatrao ny zanak’ olombelona.
8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou wilt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.
Voky ny matavy ao an-tranonao izy; ary ny ony fampifalianao no ampisotroanao azy.
9 For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
Fa ao aminao no misy loharanon’ aina; ny fahazavanao no hahitanay fahazavana.
10 Continue thy loving-kindness unto them that know thee, and thy righteousness to the upright in heart;
Ampahareto amin’ izay mahalala Anao ny famindram-ponao, ary ny fahamarinanao amin’ ny mahitsy fo.
11 Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked drive me away.
Aoka tsy hanitsaka ahy ny tongotry ny mpiavonavona, na hampandositra ahy ny tanan’ ny ratsy fanahy.
12 There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and are not able to rise.
Indreo! efa lavo ny mpanao ratsy; naripaka izy ka tsy maharina.
