Psalms 31
1 To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David. In thee, Jehovah, do I trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.
১প্রধান বাদ্যকরের জন্য। একটি দায়ূদের গীত। সদাপ্রভুু, তোমার মধ্যে, আমি আশ্রয় নিয়েছি; আমাকে কখনো লজ্জিত হতে দিয়ো না। তোমার ন্যায়পরায়তায় আমাকে উদ্ধার কর।
2 Incline thine ear to me, deliver me speedily; be a strong rock to me, a house of defence to save me.
২আমার কথা শোন; আমাকে তাড়াতাড়ি উদ্ধার কর; আমার আশ্রয়-শৈল হও, আমাকে রক্ষা করার দূর্গ হও।
3 For thou art my rock and my fortress; and, for thy name's sake, thou wilt lead me and guide me.
৩কারণ তুমি আমার শৈল এবং আমার দূর্গ; তাই তোমার নামের জন্য, পরিচালনা কর এবং পথ প্রদর্শক হও।
4 Draw me out of the net that they have hidden for me; for thou art my strength.
৪আমাকে সেই জাল থেকে উদ্ধার কর, কারণ তুমিই আমার আশ্রয়।
5 Into thy hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, Jehovah, [thou] God of truth.
৫আমি তোমার হাতে আমার আত্মা সমর্পণ করি; সদাপ্রভুু, বিশ্বস্ততার ঈশ্বর, তুমি আমাকে মুক্ত করেছ।
6 I have hated them that observe lying vanities; and as for me, I have confided in Jehovah.
৬আমি তাদের ঘৃণা করি যারা মূল্যহীন মূর্তির সেবা করে, কিন্তু আমি সদাপ্রভুুকে বিশ্বাস করি।
7 I will be glad and rejoice in thy loving-kindness, for thou hast seen mine affliction; thou hast known the troubles of my soul,
৭আমি তোমার চুক্তির বিশ্বস্ততায় উল্লাস ও আনন্দ করব, কারণ তুমি আমার দুঃখ দেখেছ; তুমি আমার প্রাণের দূর্দশার কথা জানো।
8 And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large place.
৮তুমি আমাকে আমার শত্রুর হাতে তুলে দাওনি। তুমি একটি প্রশস্ত খোলা জায়গায় আমার পা স্থাপন করেছ।
9 Be gracious unto me, Jehovah, for I am in trouble: mine eye wasteth away with vexation, my soul and my belly.
৯সদাপ্রভুু, আমার প্রতি দয়া কর, কারণ আমি কষ্টের মধ্যে আছি; আমার দেহ ও প্রাণের সাথে আমার চোখও কষ্টে দুর্বল হয়ে পড়েছে।
10 For my life is spent with sorrow, and my years with sighing; my strength faileth through mine iniquity, and my bones are wasted.
১০কারণ আমার জীবন দুঃখে ক্লান্ত এবং আর্তনাদে আমার বয়স গেল। আমার পাপের কারণে আমার শক্তি বিপদগ্রস্ত হচ্ছে এবং আমার হাড় ক্ষয়প্রাপ্ত হচ্ছে।
11 More than to all mine oppressors, I am become exceedingly a reproach, even to my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that see me without flee from me.
১১কারণ আমার সব শত্রুদের জন্য লোকেরা আমাকে ঘৃণা করে; প্রতিবেশীদের কাছে ঘৃণার বিষয়, পরিচিতজনের সন্ত্রাস আমি, যারা আমাকে রাস্তায় দেখে তারা আমার কাছ থেকে পালায়।
12 I am forgotten in [their] heart as a dead man; I am become like a broken vessel.
১২আমাকে একটি মৃত ব্যক্তির মত ভুলে যাওয়া হয়েছে, যাকে কেউ মনে রাখে না। আমি একটি ভাঙা পাত্রের মত।
13 For I have heard the slander of many — terror on every side — when they take counsel together against me: they plot to take away my life.
১৩কারণ আমি অনেকের গুঞ্জন শুনলাম। তারা আমার বিরুদ্ধে একসঙ্গে চক্রান্ত করে। তারা আমার জীবন নষ্ট করার পরিকল্পনা করে।
14 But I confided in thee, Jehovah; I said, thou art my God.
১৪কিন্তু সদাপ্রভুু, আমি তোমাকে বিশ্বাস করি; আমি বললাম, তুমি আমার ঈশ্বর।
15 My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from my persecutors.
১৫আমার ভবিষ্যত তোমার হাতে। আমার শত্রুদের থেকে এবং যারা আমাকে অনুসরণ করে তাদের হাত থেকে রক্ষা কর।
16 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; save me in thy loving-kindness.
১৬তোমার দাসের প্রতি তোমার মুখ উজ্জ্বল কর; তোমার চুক্তি বিশ্বস্ততায় আমাকে রক্ষা কর।
17 Jehovah, let me not be ashamed; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, let them be silent in Sheol. (Sheol h7585)
১৭সদাপ্রভুু, আমাকে লজ্জিত হতে দিয়ো না, কারণ আমি তোমাকে ডাকছি! দুষ্টরা লজ্জিত হোক! তারা পাতালে নীরব হোক। (Sheol h7585)
18 Let the lying lips become dumb, which speak insolently against the righteous in pride and contempt.
১৮মিথ্যাবাদীর জিহ্বা নীরব হোক, যারা ধার্ম্মিকের বিরুদ্ধে অহঙ্কার এবং ঘৃণার সাথে কথা বলে।
19 [Oh] how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee, [which] thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee, before the sons of men!
১৯তোমার মঙ্গল কেমন মহান যা তুমি তাদের জন্য সংরক্ষিত করেছ যারা তোমাকে সম্মান করে, তারা মানুষের সামনে তোমার শরণাপন্নদের পক্ষে সম্পন্ন করেছে!
20 Thou keepest them concealed in the secret of thy presence from the conspiracies of man; thou hidest them in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.
২০তাদেরকে মানুষের কুমন্ত্রণা থেকে লুকাও। জিভের হিংসা থেকে তুমি তাদের আশ্রয়ের মধ্যে লুকিয়ে রাখ।
21 Blessed be Jehovah; for he hath shewn me wondrously his loving-kindness in a strong city.
২১ধন্য সদাপ্রভুু, কারণ তিনি আমাকে একটি ঘেরা শহরে তাঁর বিস্ময়কর বিশ্বাসের প্রতিশ্রুতি দেখিয়েছেন।
22 As for me, I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes; nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.
২২যদিও আমি অধৈর্য্য হয়ে বলেছিলাম, “আমি তোমার চোখ থেকে বিচ্ছিন্ন,” তবুও তুমি সাহায্যের জন্য আমার আবেদন শুনেছ, যখন আমি তোমার কাছে আর্তনাদ করেছি।
23 Love Jehovah, all ye his saints. Jehovah preserveth the faithful, and plentifully requiteth the proud doer.
২৩হে সদাপ্রভুুর সমস্ত অনুসরণকারী, তোমরা তাঁকে প্রেম কর। সদাপ্রভুু বিশ্বস্তদের রক্ষা করেন, কিন্তু তিনি অহঙ্কারীদের শাস্তি পূর্ণরূপে ফিরিয়ে দেন।
24 Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all ye that hope in Jehovah.
২৪সাহায্যের জন্য তোমরা যারা সদাপ্রভুুতে বিশ্বাস কর তারা সবাই সাহসী এবং আত্মবিশ্বাসী হও।
