Psalms 29

1 A Psalm of David. Give unto Jehovah, ye sons of the mighty ones, give unto Jehovah glory and strength;

Salamo nataon’ i Davida.

2 Give unto Jehovah the glory of his name; worship Jehovah in holy splendour.

3 The voice of Jehovah is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth, — Jehovah upon great waters.

Ny feon’ i Jehovah no eny ambonin’ ny rano be; Andriamanitry ny voninahitra no mampikotrokorana; Jehovah no eny ambonin’ ny rano be.

4 The voice of Jehovah is powerful; the voice of Jehovah is full of majesty.

Ny feon’ i Jehovah be hery; Ny feon’ i Jehovah be voninahitra.

5 The voice of Jehovah breaketh cedars; yea, Jehovah breaketh the cedars of Lebanon:

Ny feon’ i Jehovah manorotoro ny hazo sedera; eny, Jehovah manorotoro ny hazo sedera any Libanona.

6 And he maketh them to skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young buffalo.

Dia mampitsambikina azy tahaka ny zanak’ omby Izy, Libanona sy Siriona dia tahaka ny zanaky ny ombimanga.

7 The voice of Jehovah cleaveth out flames of fire.

Ny feon’ i Jehovah mampisaraka ny lelafo;

8 The voice of Jehovah shaketh the wilderness; Jehovah shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

Ny feon’ i Jehovah mampihorohoro ny efitra; Jehovah mampihorohoro ny efitr’ i Kadesy.

9 The voice of Jehovah maketh the hinds to calve, and layeth bare the forests; and in his temple doth every one say, Glory!

Ny feon’ i Jehovah mampiteraka ny dieravavy, ary mivofy ny ala be; ary ny ao an-tempoliny samy manao hoe: Voninahitra e!

10 Jehovah sitteth upon the flood; yea, Jehovah sitteth as king for ever.

Jehovah nipetraka teo ambonin’ ny safo-drano; eny, Jehovah mipetraka ho Mpanjaka mandrakizay.

11 Jehovah will give strength unto his people; Jehovah will bless his people with peace.

Jehovah hanome hery ny olony; Jehovah hitahy ny olony amin’ ny fiadanana.
