Psalms 25
1 [A Psalm] of David. Unto thee, Jehovah, do I lift up my soul.
Pisarema raDhavhidhi. Jehovha, ndinosimudzira mwoyo wangu kwamuri;
2 My God, I confide in thee; let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
haiwa Mwari wangu, ndinovimba nemi. Musandirega ndichinyadziswa, uye musarega vavengi vangu vachindikunda.
3 Yea, none that wait on thee shall be ashamed: they shall be ashamed that deal treacherously without cause.
Hapana munhu ane tariro mamuri achanyadziswa, asi vachanyadziswa avo vanonyengera pasina chikonzero.
4 Make me to know thy ways, O Jehovah; teach me thy paths.
Ndiratidzei nzira dzenyu, imi Jehovha, ndidzidzisei nzira dzenyu;
5 Make me to walk in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
nditungamirirei muzvokwadi yenyu mugondidzidzisa, nokuti ndimi Mwari Muponesi wangu, uye tariro yangu iri pamuri zuva rose.
6 Remember, Jehovah, thy tender mercies and thy loving-kindnesses; for they are from everlasting.
Rangarirai, imi Jehovha, ngoni dzenyu huru norudo, nokuti zvakabvira kare.
7 Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; according to thy loving-kindness remember thou me, for thy goodness' sake, Jehovah.
Regai kurangarira zvivi zvouduku hwangu, nenzira dzangu dzandaikumukirai nadzo; ndirangarirei nokuda kworudo rwenyu, nokuti makanaka, imi Jehovha.
8 Good and upright is Jehovah; therefore will he instruct sinners in the way:
Jehovha akanaka uye akarurama; naizvozvo anodzidzisa vatadzi nzira dzake.
9 The meek will he guide in judgment, and the meek will he teach his way.
Anotungamirira vanozvininipisa mune zvakarurama, uye anovadzidzisa nzira yake.
10 All the paths of Jehovah are loving-kindness and truth for such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
Nzira dzose dzaJehovha ndedzorudo nokutendeka, kuna avo vanochengeta zvirevo zvesungano yake.
11 For thy name's sake, O Jehovah, thou wilt indeed pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.
Nokuda kwezita renyu, imi Jehovha, kanganwirai chakaipa changu, kunyange chiri chikuru.
12 What man is he that feareth Jehovah? him will he instruct in the way [that] he should choose.
Ndiani, zvino, munhu anotya Jehovha? Achamudzidzisa nzira yaakasarudzirwa.
13 His soul shall dwell in prosperity, and his seed shall inherit the earth.
Achararama upenyu hwake mukubudirira, uye zvizvarwa zvake zvichagara nhaka yenyika.
14 The secret of Jehovah is with them that fear him, that he may make known his covenant to them.
Jehovha anogara pakati pavanomutya; anozivisa sungano yake kwavari.
15 Mine eyes are ever toward Jehovah; for he will bring my feet out of the net.
Meso angu anoramba achitarira kuna Jehovha, nokuti ndiye chete anosunungura tsoka dzangu pamusungo.
16 Turn toward me, and be gracious unto me; for I am solitary and afflicted.
Dzokerai kwandiri uye mundinzwire nyasha, nokuti ndiri ndoga uye ndinotambudzika.
17 The troubles of my heart are increased: bring me out of my distresses;
Matambudziko omwoyo wangu awanda; ndisunungurei pakurwadziwa kwangu.
18 Consider mine affliction and my travail, and forgive all my sins.
Tarirai kutambudzika kwangu nenhamo yangu, mugobvisa zvivi zvangu zvose.
19 Consider mine enemies, for they are many, and they hate me [with] cruel hatred.
Tarirai kuwanda kwaita vavengi vangu, uye kuti vanondivenga zvakakura sei!
20 Keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I trust in thee.
Rindai upenyu hwangu mugondinunura; ndirege kunyadziswa, nokuti ndinovanda mamuri.
21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.
Kusanyengera nokururama ngazvindichengete, nokuti tariro yangu iri mamuri.
22 Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.
Dzikinurai Israeri, imi Mwari, kuti vabve mumatambudziko avo ose!
