< Psalms 20 >
1 To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David. Jehovah answer thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob protect thee;
To the choirmaster a psalm of David. May he answer you Yahweh in a day of trouble may it set on high you [the] name of - [the] God of Jacob.
2 May he send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
May he send help your from [the] sanctuary and from Zion may he support you.
3 Remember all thine oblations, and accept thy burnt-offering; (Selah)
May he remember all offerings your and burnt offering your may he accept! (Selah)
4 Grant thee according to thy heart, and fulfil all thy counsels.
May he give to you according to heart your and every plan your may he fulfill.
5 We will triumph in thy salvation, and in the name of our God will we set up our banners. Jehovah fulfil all thy petitions!
We will shout for joy - at victory your and in [the] name of God our we will raise a banner may he fulfill Yahweh all requests your.
6 Now know I that Jehovah saveth his anointed; he answereth him from the heavens of his holiness, with the saving strength of his right hand.
Now I know that he delivers - Yahweh anointed his he answers him from [the] heavens of holiness his with [the] mighty deeds of salvation of right [hand] his.
7 Some make mention of chariots, and some of horses, but we of the name of Jehovah our God.
These chariotry and these horses and we - [the] name of Yahweh God our we bring to remembrance.
8 They are bowed down and fallen; but we are risen and stand upright.
They they bow down and they fall and we we arise and we have kept upright.
9 Save, Jehovah! Let the king answer us in the day we call.
O Yahweh save! the king may he answer us on [the] day call out we.
