< Psalms 19 >
1 To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the expanse sheweth the work of his hands.
Tseize’ i likerañey ty engen’Añahare, misenge o tolom-pità’eo i lañelañey.
2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
Handro an-kandro t’ie midoan-tsaontsy, haleñ’ an-kale te mitaron-kihitse.
3 There is no speech and there are no words, yet their voice is heard.
Tsy aman-dañonañe tsy aman-tsara, tsy janjiñeñe o fiarañanaña’eo.
4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their language to the extremity of the world. In them hath he set a tent for the sun,
Fe manitsike ty tane toy o tali’ iareoo, pak’añ’olo-ty voatse toy o talili’eo; napo’e ama’e ao ty kivoho’ i àndroy.
5 And he is as a bridegroom going forth from his chamber; he rejoiceth as a strong man to run the race.
Manahak’ i mpañenga miakatse i akiba’ey, mitreñe hoe fanalolahy miherereake an-day.
6 His going forth is from the end of the heavens, and his circuit unto the ends of it; and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
Hirik’angadon-dikerañ’eñe i fionjona’ey naho ty fiaria’e pak’ añ’olo’eo, vaho tsy eo ty mahafietake amy hatrovoha’ey.
7 The law of Jehovah is perfect, restoring the soul; the testimony of Jehovah is sure, making wise the simple;
Ki’e t’i Hà’ Iehovà, mañavao ty haveloñe; to ty taro’ Iehovà, mampahihitse ty sotra;
8 The precepts of Jehovah are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of Jehovah is pure, enlightening the eyes;
Mahity o fañè’ Iehovào, mampirebek’ arofo; hiringiri’e ty fandilia’ Iehovà, mpañazava fihaino;
9 The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring for ever; the judgments of Jehovah are truth, they are righteous altogether:
Malio ty fañeveñañe am’ Iehovà, tsy mb’ia ho modo; vantañe o fizakà’ Iehovào hene mahity;
10 They are more precious than gold, yea, than much fine gold; and sweeter than honey and the dropping of the honeycomb.
Mahasinda te amo volamenao, eka ndra volamena maro hiringiri’e; vaho mamy te amo tantele naho papi’e miorikeo;
11 Moreover, by them is thy servant enlightened; in keeping them there is great reward.
mbore hatahatae’e i mpitoro’oy, ra’elahy ty tambe t’ie oriheñe.
12 Who understandeth [his] errors? Purify me from secret [faults].
Ia ty mahatsikarake o hila’eo? Liovo amo hakeo mietakeo iraho.
13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous [sins]; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be perfect, and I shall be innocent from great transgression.
Afofio amo mpitoro’oo o fisengeañeo, tsy mone hamehe ahy. Halio tahiñe amy zao iraho, vaho ho hahañe ami’ty fiolañe losotse.
14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, O Jehovah, my rock, and my redeemer.
Ho no’o añ’atrefa’o abey o fivolam-bavakoo, naho ty fitsakorean-troko ry Iehovà, lamilamiko naho mpijebam-piaiko.
