Psalms 19
1 To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the expanse sheweth the work of his hands.
За първия певец. Давидов псалом. Небесата разказват славата Божия, И просторът известява делото на ръцете Му.
2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
Ден на ден казва слово; И нощ на нощ изявява знание.
3 There is no speech and there are no words, yet their voice is heard.
Без говорене, без думи, Без да чуе гласът им,
4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their language to the extremity of the world. In them hath he set a tent for the sun,
Тяхната вест е излязла по цялата земя, И думите им до краищата на вселената. В тях Той постави шатъра за слънцето,
5 And he is as a bridegroom going forth from his chamber; he rejoiceth as a strong man to run the race.
Което, излизащо като младоженец из стаята си, Се радва като юнак да тича в попрището.
6 His going forth is from the end of the heavens, and his circuit unto the ends of it; and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
То излиза от единия край на небето, И обикаля до другия ме край; От топлината му нищо не се укрива.
7 The law of Jehovah is perfect, restoring the soul; the testimony of Jehovah is sure, making wise the simple;
Законът Господен е съвършен, възвръща душата; Изявлението Господно е вярно, дава мъдрост на простия;
8 The precepts of Jehovah are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of Jehovah is pure, enlightening the eyes;
Повеленията Господни са прави, веселят сърцето; Заповедта Господна е светла, просвещава очите;
9 The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring for ever; the judgments of Jehovah are truth, they are righteous altogether:
Страхът от Господа е чист, пребъдва до века; Съдбите Господни са истинни и, без изключение, справедливи.
10 They are more precious than gold, yea, than much fine gold; and sweeter than honey and the dropping of the honeycomb.
Желателни са повече от злато, Повече от изобилие чисто злато, И по-сладки от мед и от капките на медена пита.
11 Moreover, by them is thy servant enlightened; in keeping them there is great reward.
Слугата Ти още се и предупреждава чрез тях; В опазването им има голяма награда.
12 Who understandeth [his] errors? Purify me from secret [faults].
Кой съзнава своите прегрешения? Очисти ме от тайните прегрешения.
13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous [sins]; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be perfect, and I shall be innocent from great transgression.
Още и от гордост предпази слугата Си: Да ме не завладее; тогава ще бъда непорочен, И ще бъда чист от много престъпления.
14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, O Jehovah, my rock, and my redeemer.
Думите на устата ми и размишленията на сърцето ми Нека бъдат угодни пред Тебе, Господи канаро моя и избавителю мой.
