1 Hallelujah! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in the firmament of his power.

Lover Gud i hans Helligdom, lover ham i hans Vældes udstrakte Befæstning!

2 Praise him in his mighty acts; praise him according to the abundance of his greatness.

Lover ham for hans vældige Gerninger, lover ham efter hans store Magt!

3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet; praise him with lute and harp;

Lover ham med Basuns Klang, lover ham med Psalter og Harpe!

4 Praise him with the tambour and dance; praise him with stringed instruments and the pipe;

Lover ham med Tromme og Dans, lover ham med Strenge og Fløjte!

5 Praise him with loud cymbals; praise him with high sounding cymbals.

Lover ham med lydende Cymbler, lover ham med klingende Cymbler!

6 Let everything that hath breath praise Jah. Hallelujah!
