< Psalms 15 >
1 A Psalm of David. Jehovah, who shall sojourn in thy tent? who shall dwell in the hill of thy holiness?
Ko e Saame ʻa Tevita. ʻE Sihova, ko hai te ne nofo ʻi ho fale fehikitaki? Ko hai te ne nofomaʻu ʻi ho moʻunga māʻoniʻoni?
2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth from his heart.
Ko ia ia ʻoku ʻeveʻeva ʻi he angatonu, pea ngāue ʻi he māʻoniʻoni, mo lea ʻaki ʻae moʻoni ʻi hono loto.
3 [He that] slandereth not with his tongue, doeth not evil to his companion, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour;
Ko ia ʻoku ʻikai lauʻikovi ʻaki hono ʻelelo, pe fai kovi ki hono kaungāʻapi, pe toʻo hake ʻae lea kovi ki hono kaungāʻapi.
4 In whose eyes the depraved person is contemned, and who honoureth them that fear Jehovah; who, if he have sworn to his own hurt, changeth it not;
ʻAia ʻoku kovi ki hono mata ʻae tangata fai kovi; ka ʻoku ne fakaʻapaʻapa kiate kinautolu ʻoku manavahē kia Sihova. ʻOku ne fuakava, pea kovi ai ia, ka ʻe ʻikai liliu ai.
5 [He that] putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these [things] shall never be moved.
Ko ia ʻoku ʻikai ʻange ʻene ngaahi paʻanga koeʻuhi ko e totongi, pe toʻo ʻe ia ʻae totongi ke fai kovi ki he māʻoniʻoni. Ko ia ʻoku ne fai ʻae ngaahi meʻa ni ʻe ʻikai ueʻi ia ʻo taʻengata.
