Psalms 145
1 A Psalm of praise. Of David. I will extol thee, my God, O King, and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
Un salmo of David. Un canto de alabanza. ¡Te glorificaré, mi Dios y Rey! ¡Por siempre y para siempre alabaré quien eres!
2 Every day will I bless thee, and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
Te alabaré cada día. ¡Alabaré tu nombre por siempre y para siempre!
3 Great is Jehovah, and exceedingly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
¡El Señor es grande y es digno de suprema alabanza! ¡Su grandeza no se puede medir!
4 One generation shall laud thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.
¡Que todas las generaciones cuenten tus obras y compartan las historias de tus asombrosos milagros!
5 I will speak of the glorious splendour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.
Ellos hablarán de tu majestad, de tu glorioso esplendor, y yo meditaré en las maravillas que has hecho.
6 And they shall tell of the might of thy terrible acts; and thy great deeds will I declare.
Ellos hablarán del poder de tus actos, y yo diré cuán maravilloso eres.
7 They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
Ellos le contarán a todos de tu renombre por tu gran bondad y con alegría celebrarán que siempre haces lo recto.
8 Jehovah is gracious and merciful; slow to anger, and of great loving-kindness.
El Señor es misericordioso, lento para enojarse, y lleno de amor inagotable.
9 Jehovah is good to all; and his tender mercies are over all his works.
El Señor es bueno con todos, y muestra misericordia hacia todas sus criaturas.
10 All thy works shall praise thee, Jehovah, and thy saints shall bless thee.
Todos los seres creados te agradecerán, oh Señor, y te alabarán todos los que fielmente te siguen.
11 They shall tell of the glory of thy kingdom, and speak of thy power;
Alabarán la gloria de tu reino, y hablarán de tu poder.
12 To make known to the children of men his mighty acts, and the glorious splendour of his kingdom.
Contarán a los pueblos sobre tus maravillosos milagros, y el glorioso esplendor de tu reino.
13 Thy kingdom is a kingdom of all ages, and thy dominion is throughout all generations.
Tu reino no tiene fin, y tu gobierno se extiende por todas las generaciones. Las promesas del señor son fieles y él es misericordioso en todos sus actos.
14 Jehovah upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all that are bowed down.
El Señor ayuda a los caídos y levanta a los que están abatidos.
15 The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their food in its season.
Todos los ojos están puestos en ti, llenos de esperanza; y tú les das alimentos a quienes lo necesitan a su tiempo.
16 Thou openest thy hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
Tú das con generosidad y satisfaces las necesidades de todos los seres vivientes.
17 Jehovah is righteous in all his ways, and kind in all his works.
El Señor hace lo recto en todas las cosas. Su fidelidad está en cada uno de sus actos.
18 Jehovah is nigh unto all that call upon him, unto all that call upon him in truth.
El Señor está cerca de los que piden su ayuda, de los que le piden de corazón.
19 He fulfilleth the desire of them that fear him; he heareth their cry, and saveth them.
Él satisface las necesidades de quienes lo siguen. Escucha su clamor de ayuda y los salva.
20 Jehovah keepeth all that love him, and all the wicked will he destroy.
El Señor cuida de quienes lo aman, pero destruirá a los malvados.
21 My mouth shall speak the praise of Jehovah; and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
Alabaré al Señor, y que todo el mundo honre su nombre, por siempre y para siempre.
